We sat all in silence, as Rose was seated in the seat on the right side, I was on the left leaving Ty wedged inbetween us, with a blank expression lying on Tyler's face I could still tell he was thankful we didn't have to run to the train today, espcially in this weather.

Breaking the silence Rose spoke up trying to make small talk.

"Ken, you're not moving again are you?" she frowned, she'd been drilling this question into my skull since the start of the week when she found out about me moving from country to country, and in all honesty we never stayed anywhere longer than a year. This had been our longest stay yet, and still I had no idea if it was a permant move or not.

I shrugged. "Don't worry about it." I smiled sheepishly back at her.

"Australia was nice, we should have stayed there." mumbled Tyler as he stared straight ahead out the window.

"Yeah, but you only liked it there because of the beaches." I grinned as he tried to keep down his grin, he oh so knew I was right. "Yeah, maybe." He sighed running his fingers through his hair boyishly, he always got like this when he was around people he didn't quite know.

As we had reached the beach Tyler hopped over me unlocking the door, he had no idea just how stupid he looked, he literally leaped from his seat to the door. When the door opened he jumped to his feet on the ground, being the first one to get out, he ran around the back of the car waiting for Mac to open the boot, as he came around the corner Tyler shoved his hands inside of his pockets.

Mac pushed up the boot, where Ty's board had been stored, Mac pulled it out carefully, not to make a single scratch or dent appear. Handing it to Ty as he mumbled a thanks, Mac simply smiled back, like he ussually would. Rose and I jumped out of the car waiting for the two to finish. Ty stared inside Mac's boot mouth gaped as he looked back at Mac pointing at something inside of the boot, Mac nodded.

"Go for it." With that, Ty looked as if he was about to jump for joy, he pulled out another surfboard, a long board, it was coated in a dark velvet red and had several dark markings running along the board, Mac gave a hand to Ty and pulled it out of the boot placing it on the gravel (car park) Ty stared at the board, he looked as if he was drooling, keeping it classy.

Mac laughed as he spoke up "You can use it if you want." Mac shrugged as Tyler looked back up at Mac at his towering height, he shook his head trying his very best to keep calm and collected.
"Seriously?" Ty asked slowly, as if he was double checking if Mac really understood what had just came out of his mouth.

Mac nodded, without another moment Ty placed his board back inside the boot carrying Mac's board in his arms as he sprinted away over to the beach, although the sand had slowed him down he was still fast on his feet. He made his way over to his instructor, I think his instructor's name was Vald? Or something like that.

His instructor took one look at the board and his lips were parted, as his eyes scanned around the beach as if he was searching for something, or someone his eyes landed on me as well as Mac and Rose. He waved, as I waved back smiling awkwardly, I could feel Rose as well as Mac's eyes glued on me, but I didn't bother to look back at them.

A beep was heard as I jumped from the sudden noise, a laugh erupted behind me, sorry let me be more specific, two laughs. Without turning back to face the two I stomped off, as I could here them running after me, still laughing.

I needed to change the subject, I had to, embarassing was an understatment.

"Mac, I didn't know you surfed?" he shurgged, wiping his eyes sheepishly.

"What can I say? I'm full of suprises." he winked.

It was silent. Only for a moment, so silent the only thing heard was the waves crashing against the rocks by the sea, but that ended.

"Cheesy!" Rose laughed as Mac and I turned back at her as she was already making her way to the ocean, Mac and I returned looks as we ran after her, before running off Mac grinned.

"Whoever reaches her first wins." he spoke.
"That's childish." I replied blankly as he hummed slowly walking away. "Scared are we? Summers?"

I scoffed, as I begun sprinting. "Scared? oh, no." I ran as fast as my legs could take me, soon enough I zoomed past Mac before he had noticed I had taken him up on his offer, his mouth gaped and stood there smiling staring at me before shaking his head and running at a fast pace (faster than me) behind me.

As we raced making our way to Rose who was slowly taking her time to the ocean Mac's laugh was heard loud and clear from behind me making me snap my head back in his direction, I was almost certain Rose had heard as well, as I turned back to face the direction Rose was in, making a fool out of myself once again...

As I tried my best to take another step forward, my foot was stuck behind my leg, I tugged because I was stupid not to think of unhooking it from behind my leg, in my defence it was in the adreniline of the moment. I tried moving it to another position but I had realised my legs were enterwined together, I went falling until I face planted, I fell over my own feet. I sighed, of course. Again.

I groaned, not from the pain, more from the thoughts rushing through my head, only God could help me now, this wasn't the first time something like this had happened. Why am I so embarassing?

Mac ran over as he extended a hand towards me. "You alright?" he questioned still smiling as I nodded pulling myself up. I coughed, as I got back up to my feet, a small grin tugged back at my lips as Mac knitted his eyebrows together in response at me.

"Eat my dust Flurry!" I dashed off on wobbly feet only hoping that I wouldn't crash into a by-stander.

"I don't think so Bambi." he chuckled, I stopped in a halt, in an instant he sprinted past me. What was that about Bambi?

"I bet you couldn't surf as good as..." Rose looked around "That guy." Closing one of her eyes as if she was aiming at something she pointed to a shirtless surfer, in only red board shorts. He was knelt over riding a wave, Ty peared at the surfer scoffing.

"In your dreams." Speaking with confidence Ty didn't even bother to bat another look at the surfer in red shorts as we all sat on the sand soaking wet. I laughed, as I watched the surfer carefully.

"Oh, we got a sassy one." Rose 'O'ed covering her mouth as Mac joined along adding 'what a rebel'. In unison Ty and I laughed at the two, turning away looking back the ocean.

"You know," Mac started "You two are a lot alike." he thought as Tyler and I looked back at him with murderous looks plastered on our faces.

"You're crazy." Ty shook his head, as I nodded "What he said."

Rose nodded, as she peered at Ty and I, as if observing us like lab rats, or test frogs, creepy didn't even begin to describe it.

"Yeah, I see what you mean." Rose nodded once again humming.

"No." Tyler and I snapped as we turned back to each other.

"Would you stop that?" again, we spoke in unison, as I mumbled turning away from him, he did the same.

"You know what they say, like brother like sister." Rose chriped in a sing-song voice, batting her eyelashes angelically.

"One problem, I'm heaps hotter." Ty grinned toothily, showing off his pearly whites as I shoved him by his side, he grunted turning to me.

"Real mature, real mature." he snorted as I laughed.
"Only for you." I answered as I hugged him, once again.

"Let go Kendall!" he screamed like a little girl as I giggled, untangling my arms from around him. "God, you derserve a grammy for that performance." I retorted. Rose and Mac were laughing at our little act.

The ride back home Ty decided to ride in the passenger seat at the front, we couldn't get him to shut up about surfing, he asked questions to Mac so much that I was shocked Mac didn't want to hit himeslf over with a brick, actually, he didn't seem to mind at all, he simply smiled and answered all of Ty's questions happily. I never thought I'd see the day Ty actualy liked someone so fast in only a matter of hours, he stared at Mac as if he was a God or something, you see once you get Ty talking about surfing theres no end to it.

Making it to my house Rose was already fast asleep, her head rested on my lap, as a stray strand of her light chocolate hair was wrapped around my index finger I twirled it around boredly. Mac parked the car in the driveway giving Ty the chance to bid his goodbyes, they ex-changed a fistpump, Ty had already asked Mac to come along with him to his surf lessons, God I feel so loved, Ty just threw me out the window and exchanged me with captian ball. I mean in a sense, I'm not complaining, I couldn't handle another day being trapped in a train ever again. And plus, Tyler would probably get a free lift from Mac anyways.

Tyler shut the door after him making his way to the porch.

"Thanks." I mumbled to Mac as per usual he smiled back dazzingly, nodding.

"Any time."

As I pushed the door open I woke up Rose as she was still half asleep she rubbed her eyes, it looked like she was spending the night at my house. She yawned, as I got to my feet I helped her out of the car, her limbs were leaning against me, as her head rested in my hair, she groaned as I was just about to shut the door I pipped in.

"You know, today wasn't half bad." With that I caught a glimspe of Mac smiling, although I didn't stay around any longer to see what his response would be, or if he would even reply. I closed the door shut, hobbling over to the porch as Ty helped me out balencing Rose upright, up the stairs as I pulled out my keys I unlocked the door.

Mac's black car drove away down the driveway, I closed the door, as everyone was inside, the street lights came on, I jumped a bit it was like a scene in a horror movie, but without all the zombies and what not.

"I approve." Ty spoke blankly as he dropped Rose's legs to the ground restlessly, I approve? What the hell does that even mean? I raised an eyebrow up at him questioningly, as he grinned shrugging his shoulders, he turned his back to me and set up the flight of stairs, up to his room.

I coughed, loud enough for him to hear. "Approve of...?"

He stopped for a moment averting his head to the side as I could only see the profile of his face, he remained silent, Rose in my arms, I began to shake, I was becoming restless after such a long day.

"Figure it out dummy." he teased.

"You're just going to leave me here? Come help me bring Rose upstairs, like mum and dad always say, respect your older sister. Keyword 'older'" I grinned as he turned to me, standing still, he quickly ran up the stairs in a dash.

"You're just being Melodramatic!" he shot over his shoulder as I snorted, him and his 'big words', God bless.

"Big words." I rolled my eyes, it was always annoying when Ty tried sounding so smart all the time like he was trying to prove that he should have been the older sibling, or he was more mature than me, a pain in the ass.

"Yeah, for you that is." he yelled before the sound of his door slamming shut rang through the house.

What I found funny was he had so much energy towards surfing, but here he is like his limbs and muscles have gone on a spazz, such a big help, I thought to myself, inhaling I pulled Rose up the first step of the stairs, it was going to be a long night.

Her petite figure limply fell in my arms as I grunted yanking her up the stairs, worst night ever.

Chapter five, damn, we'll be at chapter twenty before you know it...

Naw, Naw, Naw. So this was a bonding kind of chapter between Mac and Kendall because we all want that Kendall and Mac ship to sail, omg guys I've been thinking we really need a ship name for them, hmm... any suggestions?? love you all!
