Aife grimaced as a foul stench hit her nose, and she curled her top lip. They were in what seemed to be a sewer, only a flashlight lighting their path. Aife had slipped multiple times already, resulting in her getting nearly ankle deep in the sludge.

"Ugh," Newt voiced, glancing down at the waste that flowed below him.

"Yeah, this is great," Thomas followed, his tone flat as Gally held his arm out, signaling for them to pause. He reached to his left, his fingers curling around a large lever before pulling. Then, a string of lights lit the tunnel, slightly easing Aife's worry about what hid in front of them.

"Alright, stay with me. We got a ways to go," Gally promptly informed the three, before leading them down the tunnel once more. It felt like years that they ventured through the muck, and Aife had somewhat grown used to the smell. Not sure if thats a good thing. Gally's movements came to a halt, just in front of a ladder.

He turned to face the gladers, pursing his lips before gripping onto the stair, pulling himself up first so he could get the manhole cover out of the way. Once he did, he glanced down at them from above.

"Come on," He urged, to which they followed.

The boys allowed Aife to climb first, them following directly after.

Once they all stood, he covered their way in once again, and they were in what looked to be a closed shop of sorts. Gally whipped his hands on his trousers before walking over to the large door, cracking it ever so slightly so he could peek, and decide if the coast was clear. Once deemed it was, he nodded his head lightly, pushing the door open and expecting them to follow. Which he did.

They quickly blended in with the crowd, and Aife took notice that some civilians wore masks, to cover their nose and mouth. Was it really this bad? Gally made yet another sharp turn, leading them up a staircase that led to a platform, so they could get a better viewpoint, just for a moment. Now, Aife could really see what they were looking at. Dozens of buildings, so close together. The city was illuminated by the lights, that came from the windows. It was beautiful.

"This is a long way from the glade," Newt said ironically.

"Yeah," Aife said lowly, her lips curving into a grin, "No kidding,"

That smile was quickly replaced with a frown, as an automatic voice echoed throughout the city, "You have Fifteen Minutes, till mandatory curfew. Please, be home, in orderly fashion. Remember, this if for your safety, Thank you, for your cooperation,"

Gally glanced down at his shoes, shoving his fists into the pocket of his hoodie before wetting his chapped lips, looking at the three, "Yeah, we better get off these streets," His gaze hesitantly shifted over to Aife.

"And I know it's hard but, act like you've seen it before."

At that, he led them down the stairs once more. Aife noticed that the streets had cleared fairly quickly after the curfew announcement. They crouched down slightly, quickly running across the street before the three guys pressed themselves up against a glass window. Aife frowned, as she stood in font of them.

"You know they'll be able to see you, right? It's a window," At her words, Gally sneered, gripping her wrist and pulling her next to him, against the glass. She now stood between him and Newt.

She shook her head, "Slintheads."

They watched as a police car wheeled through, the driver not even glancing in their direction. Seriously?

Gally exhaled a breath of relief, "They definitely have security. I'm guessing you Shanks have somethin' to do with that," He stated the obvious and glanced over at them, causing Aife to look up at him with a dead expression.

"Oh, yeah, I wouldn't have thought of that."

Now she was getting on his nerves, and Newt could tell, so he nudged her with his elbow, causing her to look at him questioningly. He raised an eyebrow.

Gally shook it off, slightly crouching down once more before getting ready to move, "Let's get outta here,"

And with that, they took off, making it across the street and into an alleyway. They came to face a large ledge, and it seemed that they needed to be on it. The blond haired boy with an accent glanced around, before he and Thomas intertwined their fingers together, kneeling down and allowing Aife to prop her foot up, and use them for a head start.

"You got it?" Thomas questioned, feeling her grip onto his coat before throwing her arm to the ledge, and lowly grunting before pulling herself up.

Newt was next, and Gally had helped Thomas push the boy up.

When it was Thomas' turn, he had shortly declined Gally's help, "I got it," He dismissed, leaving the said boy to roll his eyes In frustration.

Gally pulled himself up last.

They had climbed multiple sets of stairs, and Aife had repeated to herself, Don't look down. They stood on a fairly small ridge, and if she slipped, it would all be over. They had to be a couple hundred feet up.

"This way," Was all Gally said, turning into yet another narrowed staircase. They finally made it to their destination, and thankful, there was a railing that prevented her from falling to her death.

Gally pointed out into the distance, at a building that may as well have been the tallest. Lights shone from almost every window, and if she looked hard enough, Aife could make out the shadow's of what looked like, humans. She pushed her tongue against her cheek as she leaned against the railing.

"If WCKED's got Minho, this is where they're keepin' him." Gally informed, reaching down and into a black bag. It seemed like he had been here many times before. The boy pulled out a telescope, propping it on the railing and putting his eye up to it.

"Lawrence has been trying to find a way in for years. The place is crawling with soldiers, I mean, they've got surveillance everywhere." He moved his face away from the scope, leaning on the railing.

"Theres cameras on every floor,"

Newt pursed his lips, rubbing his hands together in what looked like an attempt to keep himself warm, "Sound's like a bloody fortress,"

"Gally, I thought you said you had a way in," Thomas said lowly, glancing at the boy in doubt. Aife nodded in agreement.

"If you don't, then tell us now."

Gally paused, inhaling a breath as he kept his eyes on the building ahead of them, "No, I- I might."

Thomas tensed, turning to face Gally completely, "You might? What the hell do you mean, might?" Aife put a hand on his shoulder, lightly moving him out of the way so she could get a view of Gally, who didn't meet eyes with either of them.

"Take a look,"

Aife let Thomas go first, the boy didn't hesitate to put his eye to the spyglass, and for a moment, everything was silent. He could feel eyes on him, and he knew they were anxious to get a glimpse of what he was seeing as well. Thomas paused before backing away, his mouth parting as he gestured for Aife and Newt to see what he was seeing.

Aife repeated his actions, looking through the glass, her heart felt heavy as she spotted a brunette that she unfortunately recognized. She looked healthy. Clean. Safe. After all this time, here she was, living safely inside the walls of this city, not having to worry about her skin getting torn off by those animalistic beasts that lived beyond the barrier.

This felt like torture. For a moment, Aife recalled when the girl first arrived. And how polite she had been towards her, always wanting to be by her side, and always offering help. How they sat on the watchtower, looking out into the glade, and exchanging words, trying to figure out what was going on.

Of course, Aife always had suspicions of Teresa. But she never thought she would do that.

Aife felt a wave of anger wash over her.

"I said I had a way in. . ." Gally shook his head, watching as Aife whipped her head around to stare at him, her eyes narrowed, "I didn't say you were gonna like it.
