Few Months Later..

I closed my eyes as the tender and juicy meat hit my taste buds.Perfectly cooked with vegetables and gravy the lamb served with rice was an exquisite meal.A took another bite of delicious food and stuffed my mouth with it, savouring its taste.

"How is it ?"Aunty Naheed asked from across the dining table making me show her thumbs up as my mouth was too busy eating.Salah from besides me filled my glass with water as I felt a spicy green chilly suddenly cause havoc in my mouth.

Baba cleared his throat grabbing our attention causing me to turn a little in my seat.

"So Neelum and I have decided go perform Umrah.We were actually waiting for our grandchild and since by the grace of ALMIGHTY ALLAH we have been blessed with one we are going."Baba completed smiling.As my mind processed his words I got up from my seat walking to my mother's seat and hugged her tightly.

"Thats so great Mama Baba.. "I trailed of kissing Mama's cheek seeing her stroke my head lovingly.

"Nawaz that is actually a very good plan.When are you planning to leave?"Aunty Naheed asked.

"IN SHAA ALLAH next week bhabi."My father said.

"Don't worry about anything here bhai.I'll manage everything here."Uncle Yousuf said.

"And Uncle I'll get your tickets tomorrow first thing in the morning."Salah interjected making me smile at him and walk back to my seat besides my husband.

"Thank You Salah"This time Mama said.

Everyone continued eating the Aqiqah lunch enjoying themselves in the warm atmosphere.Seven days before Ahya had given birth to a beautiful and healthy boy.Today was the Aqiqah ceremony (birth celebration).

The newly parents came into the dining hall holding their newborn.Ahya and Imraan were ecstatic since the moment they became parents.

"Photoshoot completed ?" Aunty Meena asked them as they made their way to their seats.

"Yes Aunty"Imraan said.

I had completed my lunch as I stood up from my seat and round the table going to Ahya's side.

"Here .. Give my little Aaryan baby to me while you eat."She handed the little sleeping baby to me carefully as I cradled his small form into my arms.

Walking out from the dining room I called out,
"I am taking him into the hall."

Walking with the cute baby in my arms I settled into a warm sofa.I talked to the little baby for about an hour before he woke and started crying making his father to come running.

The white sheet covered the entire garden as more snow showered over.The heaters were already switched on as they spread warmth all around us keeping us cozy.It was almost maghrib time as I pressed my nose to the closed glass window wanting to feel the cold outside.

Everyone was engrossed having tea, having the perfect opportunity I moved away without getting notice.Making my way around the lounge I pressed my hands against the garden doors.My form was already draped in a large grey shawl to keep myself warm but as I opened the doors to snow I felt myself shiver.

A smile bloomed on my face as I moved forward standing on the cemented ground.My hands spread out as white small balls fell on my hand.I praised ALLAH for the beautiful nature and the lovely snow.The sky was whitish grey with dark smeared strokes.

My feet moved a little more and I now stood on the grass covered with snow.I giggled out feeling tingles in my skin.Grabbing a handful of snow from the ground I made a small ball giving it a nice shape but it was getting difficult as my hands started to hurt from cold.

I felt the presence even before they stepped behind me.The familiar cologne whiffed passed my nostrils as Salah wrapped us into his shawl.Bring my body close to his, as my back pressed against his front, he placed his face on my shoulder.Warmth washed over me as he wrapped his arms strongly around me.Warm shivers ran down my spine as I leaned my head against his broad chest.

"What are you doing here wifey in the cold?" He asked in his deep voice making me turn a little to look up at him.

"Nothing.. just thinking about you.."I pressed my cold hand against his cheek making him smile at me before he grabbed my both hands and fisted them in his ones, providing them warmth.

"Oh.. were you?"He questioned making me stop my bubbling laugh in my mouth as I nodded.

"Good then."He stated as I turned my face back looking ahead of us.

"Shahwar.."He trailed off after few moments of silence.Snow covered our heads as some even fell on our face.

"Hmm."I hummed.

"You like playing with Aaryan?"He asked.

"Hm.He's so cute and adorable just like you."I said carelessly not thinking of my words.

His hold tightened as he pulled my body impossibly close making me stiffened for a fraction second before I relaxed.

"I..I means I like babies."I stammered looking into his hypnotic eyes.

He leaned down brushing his lips against mine in a very soft way making me loose my breath and close my eyes.As he pulled his face away he leaned towards my ear,

"Uhm Hmm..We are going to be parents after seven months anyways."He grinned making me smile back.Turning me back around he placed his hand on my flat belly as I placed my hand on his interlacing our fingers.His shawl was still wrapped around us providing warmth to both of us.

Just as I started to feel cold I asked softly,

"Can we go inside, its getting cold."

"Yeah sure.. Lets go."

Walking back inside with my hands holding Salah's I knew it was the hand I was gonna hold while walking to Jannah.And we happily went back inside our warm home.

I still remember the day I planned to write this and here I am sitting finishing off the epilogue ..
It has been an amazing journey and I had a lot of fun so thank you for supporting me and always encouraging me ..
