As soon as Steve opened the small ice chest, her focus was on Steve and Steve alone. She shakily rose to her feet.

"Steve, start walking backwards to the door. Do not let her catch up to you," Steve glanced at me and took a few steps back.

She growled and started walking towards him, slowly but surely.

Steve started taking a regular pace to the door and she followed.

Eventually, we made it to the lab, Steve was trapped in the lab with her unfortunately because she wouldn't let him leave. Even after he gave her the steaks she snarled at him when he made a break for the door.

"Uh, Pietro?"

I laughed at him, "She does not want you to leave, so you will not leave. Just stay by the table you smell like food to her, so she probably believes that you have more,".

Steve went an sat by the table, the wolf followed. Steve picked her up and placed her on the table carefully, much to the wolf's surprise.

It did look funny because the wolf was bigger then Steve, but probably weighed the same amount as he did.

I walked up to her and put my hand on her nose.

Bruce walked up with gloved hands and started to investigate the arrow, "Would it be possible to tranquilize her so I can painlessly get the arrow out without her panicking?"

I held out my hand, which Bruce filled with a syringe.

Steve stood at one end of the table while I went to the other.

While she faced Steve, I stuck the needle into her hindquarter and pushed the liquid into her muscle.

She whirled around and I quickly jerked my arm back.

She growled at me, you could tell that drowsiness started to fill her senses.

She started to panic, jumping off the table and onto the floor. She ran to the darker corner in the room.

Steve made a move to follow her but I stuck an arm in front of me and shook my head.

"I would not go near her right now," I warned.

She stared at us in betrayal, I looked back at her sympathetically.

The drowsiness started to get stronger in her system. She seemed to notice that the syringe was still there.

She turned and saw the syringe still there, she flinched as she reached for it and scratched at it until it came out.

The drowsiness became to much for her, her eyes fluttered closed and her body went limp.
