Going on a road trip with the team would include...

· "Y'know that I have a private jet, right? Why do we have to spend a few days in some lame car?!"

· "Stop whining, Stark, it won't hurt to spend some quality time together away from stress!"

· Steve taking a ton of maps with himself and pointing at every place he sees on one

· realizing someone has forgotten something literally ten minutes into the trip (probably Clint or Bruce tho)

· Natasha was riding shotgun and she was either not saying anything at all or singing at the top of her lungs

· falling asleep on Thor's shoulder which is good 'cause he is big and warm and bad because he wants to stop e v e r y w h e r e and take a picture of anything he finds fascinating or cute

· so yeah, waking up pretty often actually

· "Not that I have anything against AC/DC but please... we've been listening to this CD for two hours."

· borrowing Bruce's earphones when you've had enough

· Tony snoring LOUDLY and leaning against anyone who's sitting beside him

· Steve arguing with the voice of GPS because he thinks good ol' fashioned maps are way more reliable

· "Can we stop somewhere?" (-Clinton Francis Barton)

· taking some files away from Bruce 'cause it's time to relax and have fun and not work again

· asking Nat to be the DJ after you've had enough of Tony's music (which actually makes him wake up instantly)

· but wait, who's driving?! Bucky!

· he was the most collected and calm one and he still wasn't feeling like socializing with everyone so he happily obliged to be your driver

· "I feel like a bus driver on a kindergarten field trip."

· everybody thinking that Tony and Thor ate half of the sandwiches but in fact it was you, Steve and Bruce

· Natasha being a really sneaky photographer and snapping pictures all of you are asking her to delete

· of course she wouldn't

· "I think we were supposed to turn left earlier..."

· wearing either one of Bruce's sweaters or being wrapped up in Thor's cape when you get chilly

· Clint and Tony wanting to play the most stupid games

· "Aw, come on [Y/N], it will be fun!"

· Tony and Steve bickering like an old married couple ft. Clint secretly recording it all

· "WHO WANTS TO JOIN ME FOR AN EPIC COVER OF "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU"?" (yes, Thor definitely joined you)

· "Could you keep quiet a little, winter grandpa here is trying to drive." followed by a death glare from Bucky

· "Get your feet off the dash, Romanoff."

· Clint wanting to draw on Steve's face when he falls asleep and you think Tony didn't 100% encourage him? Boiiiii he did

· "I didn't know you were a sleep talker, Bruce." "Oh gosh, what did I say?"

· teaming up with the God of thunder and scaring Natasha half to death when she started dozing off (which made Bucky almost lose control of the van but also burst into laughter a few seconds later)

· "Change the station, I can't stand this song!" "It's my favorite and we're going to listen to it!"

· headbanging to some epic songs

· "Can we stop somewhere?" (- Clint, again, ten minutes after stopping somwhere.)

· Maria Hill actually sneakingly packed a few more sandwiches but Steve, Bruce and you aren't allowed to get your hands on them

· Fury calling you every now and then 'cause he knows you are actually a bunch of (mostly) immature children and a couple of grandpas

· you're staying in a hotel one night and everybody is sharing their room with someone but you end up all in one room together (it started with you barging into Bruce and Tony's room cause you were chilly and missed your Science bros)

· the next one to join you was Clint ("Air conditioning in my room is broken and my Hawkeye senses are tingling." "That's not even your line.")

· Tony was expecting Bucky to come in just so he could dramatically announce that "winter is coming"

· Steve joining you too but falling asleep again after 0.00167 minutes

· asking Nat to go wake up Thor but him being such a heavy sleeper she actually fell asleep herself trying to wake him

· you and the rest of the team found them in the morning and took a picture you'll never forget

THIS WAS SOOO FUN TO WRITE OMW loved it. I hope y'all made it to the end without falling asleep cause it was sooo long but I hope you like it at least a little bit 😁 I wasn't 100% sure what to do with Bucky but hey- somebody's gotta drive! tell me what you think + what should I write next ❤
