Feya awoke with a pounding headache she sat up slowly and began to look around, she was in Mirkwood she knew that much and she was trying to keep her head about her. Where were the others? Her wolves head poked up at the foot of the bed "Hello boys." she said softly.

The pair hopped up on the bed and began giving her drooly kisses all over her face "I know you were worried, where are the others?" she asked.

Fili wolf jumped off the bed and went to scratch at the door, the door opened and the glowing blue eyes of a suit of Ironhound armor poked through the crack "She's up." a voice said from the armor.

It was Dean because he was the first through the door followed by Roman, Seth, and Brandy "You gave us a scare," Brandy said

"Thranduil was to blame, not her," Roman said

"Tell me you put him through his throne?" she asked in a teasing tone.

Brandy made an inch sign with her forefinger and thumb "That damn close to," Brandy replied.

Feya nodded as a healer for the woodland realm entered the room "Hello Valkiery, how are we feeling after the ordeal you have had?" the healer asked

"Sore, a massive headache, and hungry," she replied

"I'll go get you something to eat and inform the company you're awake," Roman said as he turned around and left.

The healer began to check her over before nodding her head "You have recovered fully, I will have someone bring you to the room where you will be staying until morning." the healer said

"Thank you," she said with a bow of her head.

Kili hadn't eaten at all knowing his one was laid up in the healing ward. Fili tried to make him eat, he just didn't care to, but when Roman came into the dining hall with all eyes turning to look at him he feared the worst 'Mahal please don't take her from me not when I just found her.'  he prayed.

His uncle and Thranduil were in talks as Roman leaned in and said something to the Elvish king and his uncle. Thranduil smiled kindly though it was somewhat forced as his uncle Thorin grinned from ear to ear. Thranduil said something to Roman of who nodded and left the room heading back in the direction he came as his Uncle signaled for him. Kili got up and walked over to him "Uncle?" he asked

"Roman informed me that Feya has just awoken, I think it would be best if you went to see her." his uncle said.

Kili felt his heart sore at those words his one was alive and alright, he bowed to his uncle and Thranduil "Please bring her to the dining hall she must be hungry and I am sure your company would wish to see her." Thranduil said.

Kili nodded "Thank you, I will do so," he said as he left the room.

When he reached the healing ward one of the lower class elves were leading Feya to her quarters. A smile bloomed on Feya's lovely face as her eyes sparkled in love and joy upon seeing his face "Feya my love, you look well." he said 

"I feel better my love, I heard you never left my side until Prince Legolas had to drag you out kicking and screaming." she teased.

Kili's face went red at that, not his finest moment at all as she looked at him fondly. They walked to her quarters which with all that had happened to her was with him, she looked at him with an arched brow "What are you up to?" she asked teasingly

"I am up to nothing my love, though I as well as the hounds are to escort you to dinner," he said.

Feya nodded and ducked into the room while he waited for her. When she returned shortly after she wore a royal blue dress. (Dress above in the royal blue of the Durin line)

Her hair was pulled back a circlet upon her brow the center was a wolve's head as he smiled up at her. The pair walked to the dining hall with the others following close behind "You look lovely my dear Feya," a voice said.

Kili felt Feya's hold on his hand tighten at the voice "Loki, show your face coward!" he growled

"In due time Kili son of Vili, you will not keep me from my, prize," Loki replied

"You will have to go through us first Loki Odinson." Brandy said powering up her light shooters

"Ah, the whore cousin," Loki said.

Legolas who had come around the corner and heard the voice froze "Did he just call you a whore?" Seth growled.

Legolas shouted out in elvish for a guard to search for Loki and to inform what had transpired "Tally ho, got confirmation of location he is right outside the gates." Brandy said

"It could be an illusion proceed with caution Brandy," Feya said

"One way to find out," Dean said looking at the two wolves by the door

"Fi, Ki, sniff out Loki," Feya said.

Kili stayed at her side as an elvish guard came running around the Legolas barked orders for the guard to follow her wolves as the doors opened and they raced out to go after Loki "Roman and Dean stay with them Seth with me." Brandy said.

Legolas walked over to her "Are you alright?" Legolas asked

"I'll be fine, just some bad memories, I will have to face him again sooner or later," she said

"Let's hope it is later than sooner, you are not ready to fight him especially after what had happened," Roman replied.

Feya nodded and they walked to the dining hall Thorin and Thranduil were there to greet them "The circlet suits you," Thranduil said, "Much of the Valkiery of Durin's things were scattered all over Middle-Earth, she left the circlet upon your brow with my father." 

"Thank you, for your hospitality King Thranduil," she said with a polite nod of her head

"And you are most welcome lady Valkiery." Thranduil replied, "Thorin and I were discussing on how to get you out of my kingdom and away from prying eyes." 

"Considering Loki is right outside your gates using the front door is out of the question, your people can't fight off Spiders and Orcs at once we may have to use an alternative means of leaving your kingdom though there is still the threat of Orcs," she said diplomatically.

Thranduil gave a polite nod "What do you suggest?" Thorin asked

"Use the barrels located at the bottom of the castle and use the current of the river to get us to safety through with the Orcs so close we may still have to fight our way out," she replied.

Thorin nodded "Thorin tells me in your world you have knowledge of the events that are yet to come, I will trust your judgment." Thranduil said

"I know a master of Lake Town who is really going to love me when I sick the hounds on him," she said with a dark smirk.

Thranduil arched a brow "What do you mean by that child?" Thranduil asked

"The master of Lake-town only cares to line his own pockets and overtaxes the people, they are on the brink of starvation," she replied, "He will try to bargain with Thorin for much-needed supplies to see the gold of Erebor to line his own pockets next to your gold." 

Thranduil's eyes widened in shock at these words "Your weapons have been returned to the company as well as your weapons Lady Valkiery, you will have the guard to protect you if need." Legolas said

"Yes, Turiel and Legolas shall accompany you as far as the river's gate from there you will be on your own unless there are orcs that follow you," Thranduil said

"You have my thanks," she said.

The festival of Starlight was as beautiful as what she imagined everyone was having the time of their lives as Brandy and Seth returned with her wolves "It was Loki alright, I don't know how he got so close, but he was close enough." Brandy said 

"We will be gone by morning before we leave the hounds need to be in the air and on the lookout for orcs," Feya said.

Thorin nodded in agreement "We will see to it." Brandy said

"Your armor is advanced even for Middle-Earth, I am in awe of the advancements that Midgard has come up with," Thranduil said

"Most families are smarter than most. Brandy may be kin, but her father is the one who created those suits of armor, he even made a form of energy that can run anything for 50 lifetimes." Feya added

"The chest piece in the center looks like pure starlight," Turiel said

"Its called an Arc Reactor, it is a man-made a mini star that can power an entire kingdom." Brandy said, "Unlike my father's suit which is so bulky, I built ours to be able to not only to fight in the air but also on the ground as was demonstrated in the throne room." 

"Yes, those suits are beautifully crafted and are as deadly as those in them," Thranduil said.

After the celebration everyone went to their chambers, her wolves were in hers and Kili's room waiting. Kili was going to sleep on the floor which had Feya rolled her eyes "Kili my love don't sleep on the floor, where I come from soulmates share the same bed even while courting." she said.

Kili looked at her wide-eyed dyed "Really?" he asked.

Feya nodded and about laughed as Kili lept from the floor onto the bed "Come my love close your eyes and rest, Loki would be foolish to attack us now." Feya said.

Feya curled up closer to Kili and fell asleep. Kili followed soon after...
