The prologue starts with a camera turning on to reveal a young man with blonde hair wearing a red cap above his head and sitting on a bed in his bedroom.

Kevin: "Okay, here goes. Camera check. Microphone check. Yep, everything's ready. Okay, what to say? What to say...? [clears throat] Hi, I'm Kevin Castillo, I'm from Bronx, New York and... to be honest, people kept saying not to go on this show because I'm unworthy of competing or I get kicked off on the show in day one and I don't blame them. People would get disappointed or ignore me before they get to know me. My family, friends and worst of all, my girlfriend abandoned and shunned me for being useless mostly cuz I have ASD. Yeah, I have ASD so go cry a river! I didn't ask to have ASD, and my life's going to shit! My parents abused me, my brother mocked me for being a disappointment, and my girlfriend made a decision of choosing an autistic guy or a hot football player who is popular that will lead to a toxic relationship where both are merely made for each other and guess what he's chose? ...Him! She chose the football guy over me and to make matters worst, they have the nerve to send me a video tape of them having sex in front of me while I cry my eyes out in sorrow and heartbreak! Ever since my parents died, it's been my brother and I and after seeing my brother's true colors of being a drug lord and a misogynist sex offender, I've moved out of the house and into a new one. If anyone watching this, then don't bother having me on the show or whatever you planned for me, I know my place and I don't deserve the money or anything special. Kevin Castillo out. Peace."

And that, the camera turns off as we see Kevin grab the tape from the camera and he put it in the mailbox. He looked down at his feet and let out a sad sigh.

Kevin's Mind: (I don't know why I even try, cause what are the chances of them picking me? Maybe they'll just forget the tape and choose someone better than me. I'm unworthy.)

He then went back in the house and sit on the couch, watching TV in the living room. Meanwhile, somewhere in Canada, we see Taylor going through the mail and she found Kevin's audition tape.

Taylor: "Huh? A tape...from America? Hm, better see what's on it?"

One React of the Tape Later...

Taylor: "Aww, poor guy. He just wanted to be loved and important in the world yet his life is wasted by those who wronged him. I think I'll get him on the show. I better show this to mom."

Taylor then shows the tape to her mother Kelly, who then watched the whole tape and can't help but feel bad for the young man's life is going in stumbles.

Kelly: "What a poor young man having to suffer a life to those who wronged him and be alone for having ASD. Where'd you find this?"

Taylor: "I found it in the mailbag, he's so sad and he wants to be loved. Should we put him on the show? Besides, he's quite cute~."

Kelly: "This darling deserves to be loved and he is definitely cute~. Yes, let's bring him in. But tell the others to go easy on him."

Taylor: [nods] "Alright, mom."

And so, the prequel of the new season of Total Drama has officially began.
