Oops It's An Art
So I'm designing a game in-universe for my stories, known as "Rokes". It's basically very complicated card-based rock-paper scissors, or maybe like one of those trading card games but it was made before there were trading cards. The 31 cards form the in-universe equivalent of the Tarot major arcana, with heavy fortune-telling symbology. I'm gonna slowly start drawing the Hermits (and Helsmits) as the cards from Rokes that suit them the most. In reverse order, of course.
So, starting with number 30: Death.
Death is one of the more powerful ones in the game. Alone, it can force any card that represents a living being to be discarded. However, Death can be defeated by 4: The Necromancer, who can block a certain number of Death's moves per game.
Death can also form two powerful combinations. When played with 13: The Imp and 24: Fire, the person who plays them may use the powers of all three cards on one opponent per round, which has a high chance of killing off that player instantly. However, certain other cards may break the trio by taking The Imp and giving Fire to a random other player.
Death may also form a pair with 8: Chaos, which acts just like 29: Order. This is assumed to be because Order is the death of Chaos. It's really because of Worm Man, but shhhhhh.
I've been Entropy, peace out from the present!
