Yes! The secret is coming out! How I do all this!

Step 1: Concept

I often come up with chapter ideas whilst doing mindless tasks, like watching TV or proofreading other chapters. I'll then, if I like it, either put it in a Story Ideas chapter I'm working on, or in my Authoring folder. For instance:

Step 2: Title

Yes, I come up with the title AFTER the concept, shame on me. This often won't be the final title, but it is usually a synonym of it.

Step 3: Vague Plot-Planning 

This is the final step done in Notes instead of Wattpad. I'll go into more detail about the vague storyline, no bullet-points just yet though.

Step 4: Brain Break!

Before I move the story onto Wattpad, I'll take a short break. Grab whatever meal (unless I'm doing 11pm-3am writing), watch some Hermitcraft, check my notifications. If I didn't do this, I'd suffer from near-constant writer's block. After this, I throw on one of my two playlists (unless it's a songfic) and get back to work.

Step 5: Moving It To Wattpad

This is just creating a new chapter and giving it the WIP title. Nothing else, not yet.

Step 6: Bullet Points

This is where I solidify the final plot, and start thinking about Time Skips and Meanwhiles. One bullet point is usually 1-2 paragraphs.

Step 7: A/Ns, Timeskips

I come up with the gags in the Time Skips and Author's notes before anything else, because they come more naturally that way.

Step 8: Last paragraph

Wait what!? Yeah, I write the last bullet point first so that I have a place we have to go. With larger arcs, *cough*rollforinitiative*cough* I will also write the last part first.

Step 9: The Other Paragraphs

Only now do I write these. This usually takes a little bit, so I'll usually take another Brain Break during this step. I have Autocorrect, so I don't really proofread, or I proofread as I go.

Step 10: Publish!

I hit the publish button, and then, because by that point it's usually midnight or later, I crash.

And that's about it! That's how I write individual chapters! I may do one of these for larger arcs as well, but for now I need to go finish writing that chapter, and uploading my Logic and Lore.
