Capital Female ~ Fleur Cayce

Name: Fleur Cayce

District: Capital

Age: Seventeen

Song and Artist: Far Too Young to Die by Panic! at the Disco

Weapon of Choice: A crossbow. Definitely a crossbow.

Appearance: Fleur seems like a friendly person just by appearance. She has silky, whitish blonde hair that reaches to her mid-back, always combed and brushed by servants in her household. Mixing along is dye she usually puts in. For now, it remains as a black color, complimenting her hair very well. Having dark, green eyes is something unsettling, for it's slightly rare for people to have such a color. But, I guess it just shows that she's a special person. Pale, delicate skin she has, almost like a shard of white glass: fragile and beautiful, but deadly at the sharp edges. Like a broken piece. With a small figure, standing at 5'7, you could say she seems harmless. Rather innocent, and...well, slightly gentle and kind. But if you look deeper into her eyes, you can see sorrow. Pity that a girl born so beautiful had a devastating background.

Personality: Said during the description above, pity she has an innocent figure. Hidden behind it all, deep inside, she shows hatred. Anger to all who have failed her and all who have betrayed her. She despises any of them, wants them dead right in front of her. She always wanted someone to carry out her murderous work. She gives an act of friendliness, giggling with so called friends. Those giggled actually hide her imagination of her "friends" dead, their bodies rotting before her. Even a beautiful name such as Fleur even hides emotions. F stands for fury. L stands for luck. E stands for exhaustion. U stands for you are dead inside. And R...stands for Ross. She hides all of that inside, deep in her heart for no one to see. She would rather be off dead than live a glamorous life in the Capital. Such a pity.

Background: Ah, now here comes the hard part. The secrets...the shame...and the disappointments. Fleur always grew up knowing that she had to be the best at basically anything, coming from a wealthy family. She hated the pressure, always wanting to hide behind someone. But her rewards were stories in a book, which she enjoyed so much as a young child. Endless romantic stories filled the pages and she knew she wanted a story like that. Her parents though, along with her older sister Danielle, always told her when she would start out teenage years, boys would fling themselves onto her. Love didn't exist, they would all say. Fleur didn't believe any of that crap. She remained friendly and gentle, no lies hidden behind those green eyes. She would just calmly pretend to believe those words. And then, so suddenly, love hit her smack in the face when she was fourteen. She fell in love with a young gentleman called Ross, a gentle and loving boy who cared for her deeply. They shared their secret love to each other, not daring to say anything to their parents or friends. But something was off with Ross when they neared the end of sixteen for both of them. He was starting to lie, depression hidden in his hazel eyes. And so suddenly, one night, he sent for Fleur. He waited and waited until so suddenly, she stood in front of him. It seemed like a Romeo and Juliet kinda thing, except for the other way around and less gory. Two ropes hung from the ceiling with stools underneath. One couldn't like without the others and they would die together. And as they kicked the stools and slowly hung there, the rope above the girl snapped and she fell to the ground, the rope loosening. But when she turned to see Ross, he hung there. Dead. And bitterness entered her now crumbling heart.

Token: Fleur never wanted a token, but with her dear sister forcing her, she brought along a special time. Something that would remind her of every little thing about love, a horrible emotion for her to face. It was a rope necklace, wrapped loosely like the jewelry. It was dyed with dark colors like black, red, and orange. Just in case she gives up in the Games.

Other: Before she left for the train, she had said one thing to all of her family and "friends". Something that she hoped would be written on her grave if she didn't come back as Victor. "I'm far too young to die."
