Voting

The time has come to select our finalists! The road has been long and you've all worked incredibly hard to get here. While I am incredibly disappointed at the lack of entries the few of you who did hand in did incredibly well.

Before I put up voting and give the rules I want to give you all a little feedback on your entries to help improve yourself in the future and as a reward for making it this far.

~

Alina Grenald: The beginning of your entry was incredibly poetic, I was instantly captivated by it. It did bounce around a little, flipping angles however in the long run it was an amazing opener. As the entry went on though it morphed into a regular entry and lacked the poetic clincher it needed. All in all though, save a few grammatical errors it was well done.

Beth Turner: For a rushed entry you did incredibly well. You made me really feel for your character, it was lighthearted and humerus and yet had some deep moments. The only thing that I would recommend was that you refrained from using all capital letters. It makes your writing seem more immature than it is. However your entry was late and you will have 2 votes deducted from your vote total.

Seydi Donner: Lets start with the end, I really enjoyed the cliffhanger. It was a spectacular ending, however the beginning was a bit slow. I like how you left the entire plot hanging. The entry was a tad dry for a semi-final entry though the grammar and pace was better than a lot of your other entries. Its apparent you put a lot of effort into it.

Felix Flamell: Starting on a negative note, the dialog in your entry was a tad forced and unrealistic. The part about them giving the tributes a chance to meet their ancestor took this unrealistically to a higher level. Being too forced has been a problem for me in the past so if you ever want some pointer please message me. Anyway I loved the description in your entry, it was incredibly vivid, borderline poetic (as always). The second half of the entry was strong and I loved how in the end Felix realizes Suzanne's roll in the creating if the games.

How Voting is Going To Work

Three people will be moving on to the finals, if you did not hand in than you are instantly dead. So this means Bathier Storm and River May are disqualified. Beth Turner's entry was late so she will have two votes docked from her overall vote total as penalty.

I am going to implement a new system for voting to ensure the 3 top writers make it to the finals. You are going to rank each entry from best to worst, the best getting the highest number.

Example Ballot:

Gale - 4 (Your Favorite)

Katness - 3 (Your Close Second)

Bardello -2 (The 'Eh' Entry)

Peeta - 1 (Your Least Favorite)

The tribute with the highest scores will move forward. Please vote for who you think actually deserves it!

All ballots must be PMed to me.

Voting closes Oct. 10th at 8:00 EST
