SF~Felix Flamall

My ally and I continue running along the wet wooden planks until our watches glow the same electric blue. We get lifted off the ground, traveling again later in time. A chill gust of wind swirls around my face. I open my eyes, revealing a beam of light, traveling through a void. My eyes scan around and see 5 others, each of the other tributes, coming from 5 different, star like objects, the past. In front of me is a picture of a woman who seems like a nice and wonderful woman, she has rosy cheeks, and wavy dirty blonde hair."You must stop this Woman, Suzanne Collins, from finishing her work, it is vital for humanity to flourish, this is for the greater good, Do whatever you need to stop this, Monster."The comet like thing I am traveling in then sends me forward, launching me into a forest, surrounded by trees. Another announcement booms overhead."We shall give you a brief time to meet your creators commonly known as ancestors... This will only be a short amount of time, use it wisely."I start to advance out of the woods leading me into a rural backyard. Neer me is a green colored house with a deck in the back, with a few chairs overlooking the land. There seems to be an abundance of trees, everywhere, which was almost unnatural. The plants looked so healthy and alive, not withering or burnt. True hot sunlight danced on my skin, giving me warmth. I felt the grass, it felt like little hairs of the Earth, why had District 13 stolen this away from us, why had the capital stolen this away from us.I slowly walk out of the forest at the outskirts of the backyard. A door slides open, revealing a young boy, with brown hair and white skin, I could see some resemblance to my mother, but not much, so this must be an extremely old ancestor. He sits down on the chair, readjusting his shirt, on it is writing, it spells something unknown to my vocabulary, but it looked to have English characters, no fancy dots or lines. Around him was a blue glow, signifying his importance as my ancestor. He was ingesting frozen ice bar, which he seemed to enjoy. It didn't look thatenjoyable. His eyes scan the backyard, almost like an animal looking over their territory. His eyes then land on me. He backs up but then moves to continue to stare at me. I eye my outfit, which wasn't fit for the occasion, a dirty bloody shirt, cut pants, some scars on my face, greasy hair, while he looked pristine, not a speck of dirt anywhere, clean outfit. Obviously this boy had a wealthy heritage, or maybe that was the norm for the people of his time.I look back to my "creator". He seemed to be studying my attributes and my every move. He slides to his right and opens a door with a wish, closing it behind him. I take the chance to move a little closer, examining the wealth and status of these people. Near their house is a black vehicle, similar to the ones that transported things around the underground facilities. There was a plate with random numbers and letters and another name in small print on the top, which was probably unimportant.I look at my watch again, the glow is faint, but there. I take note to take by final looks around. Quickly running up the deck stairs I look inside the house. Wooden floors adorned the room used for cooking or preparation of food. I hear footsteps coming down a staircase, and the boy is there, again. He peers around the corner, catching a glimpse of me. He crosses a small hallway into another room. How many rooms does this family have?A door swirls open and he runs out, quickly opening a drawer. In said drawer there seemed to be a compartment full of utensils, he grabs a knife and walks cautiously towards me. White knuckles clamp onto the knife, he seemed to be scared of me, had the games already started in this year, what year was this even? I scan the room and find a calendar, with a picture of vibrant flowers, I had never seen such deep oranges and vivacious pinks. When I remember about my ancestor, he seemed to be right near the door knife gripped tightly. I wonder how I could seem so menacing, but I look at the faint reflection from the sliding door. Coming from my backpack were swords and weapons, my belt was adorned with knifes of all shapes and variety. Some even had blood on it.Great Job Felix, you will probably be killed by someone who isnt even in the games. The glass door slides to the left, leaving only a screen in between us."Who are you, what do you want." The young male asks."Uh.... I'm Felix.... I might be related" I ask, shrugging, I wasn't really the most charismatic with things I don't know much about. My watch was glowing brighter, catching his eye."What's going on with your watch." He juts his chin towards my wrist, my watch was flowing a bright blue."techstuff, you wouldn't know, i'm from the government" I lie, extremely badly for that matter. He scoffs."Leave. Now." I back away, from the vicious young boy, or at least a boy who knows not to talk to a strange person, dirty, killer of a few people, and adorned with weapons, I can't entirely blame him."I am a descendant of you. You are my creator, we are related." He raises an eyebrow, his lips twitches into a quick sneer."That's a load of... the S-word" He sticks his tongue out."All right I'll leave you alone." I glance behind him, finally finding a calendar. It read October 2007.2007?! Panem isn't even that far into years yet.I back away slowly. Carefully going down the deck stairs, leading me into grass again. I felt the watch glowing, and burning up. I disintegrate out of this time frame and travel to where I will hunt the "terrible" nice looking woman. It drops me into another forest, similar to the one I was just at. I tap my watch, an image of her comes up again, the same dirty blonde hair, rosy cheeks, and a nice smile. I walk out of the woods, when a body slams into me.I open my eyes, my eyes are filled with a strawberry blonde mess. I spit out a few strands."Hello Seydi." I whisper shout, unaware of who was around us. She lifts her head up, showing me her icy blue eyes. She turns around, a snapping of twigs coming from the general direction She picks me up and motions for me to start running away from the snapping of twigs."Why are we running?!" I whisper shout again."Alina, bad, she seems angry." She whisper shouts back. It seemed strange, I killed Alina during the war scene. I look at Seydi, but she continues to sprint. She then makes a turn and heads another direction through the woods. A scream comes from another part of the forest. We stop."I don't hear anything, what about you?" she asks me. I shake my head. We slowly advance towards a household. I walk ahead of Seydi, who had already done so much i this time frame."How was your meeting?" I ask her. She stops, then shakes her head."She's an extremely stubborn girl, short too, with really long dirty blonde hair, she wasn't the friendliest to me" I nod. "What about you?""He was hostile, but that may be because I look like a psychopathic killer, we pretty much had the same features of brown hair, hazel eyes, white skin, the usual""And what exactly is the usual, meeting an ancestor from so far who knows when?" She raises and eyebrow and her hand. I shrug."Let's get moving, we need to do something about this Suzanne Collins lady. We advance towards the house we assumed the subject of assassination was in."Any thoughts on how to kill her?" Seydi ponders on me.I stop in place. Why do we have to kill, we should only kill those whom we have to kill, like the other tributes, not these people we know absolutely nothing about."Why do we have to kill another non tribute person? The last tasks and know in the games were to murder a helpless person we know nothing about? Why?" Seydi looks at me."We don't have to kill her, only make sure she doesn't finish whatever she was writing or doing""But still!""We need to, we don't want to be killed because we are incompetent stubborn people like our creators!" I don't respond and continue walking towards the house. As we reach the house a voice shouts behind us."Why can't we take out the target together?" Beth Turner asks. From behind us. My face twists, why, for one, is she acting nice, and why is she alive. I lean towards Seydi."I killed her, like un liveable."I know, she should be dead""What is going on?"

"I have no idea, I've experienced the same thing with some of my victims.""Should we deal with her?""Just pin her clothes to a tree." We both pull out a throwing knife and hair at her clothes. I send my knife first catching her shoulder, while Seydi aims for her pant cuff, immobilizing one of her legs. I make a full 360 around her house, finding an open door leading inside. I motion Seydi to follow."Which one of us should be the one to do the deed?" Seydi asks me."I'll do it, I'm stronger, and more intimidating." Seydi slaps my arm."Only because your fricking taller you little-tall-shit." We enter into a room like the one in my ancestor's house, preparation of food and consumption of food."We could find something to help us, like destroy all evidence" I suggest. We scavenge through all the drawers, looking for anything that could help us."Found something." Seydi says, holding up some matches and a lighter."Perfect." I smile. A chair shifts on the floor. I put a finger up to my lips, this was probably the victim. The chair shifts again, and a bunch of tapping is heard, almost sounding mechanical. "Stay here, when I call out light all the matches and lighters, set this place ablaze." My ally nods, understanding the procedure. I slyly walk over to where Suzanne is furiously typing. Her computer is near the window, her back facing the door.Perfect.I slyly walk in, shutting the door behind me. Suzanne turns her head, then takes a double take."Who are you?" She asks, her voice shaking."The one to end you." I respond. She grabs a letter opener, but I didn't care. I grabbed her arm and twisted it. I let out a yell "NOW SEYDI!" I throw Suzanne to the ground, out of my way. I look around, on one of the shelves is a metal paper weight. I snatch it from the shelf and grab the computer. I whack the screen with the metal bar, seeing glass scatter the floor. I throw it onto the ground, it was trash now.I feel heat prick my shoulder. I turn around and see a growing destructive flower of reds, oranges, yellows, and small blues creeping through the door.Shit, shit, god dammit Seydi contain this, Shit, shit, what if she's dead, what if I die, I can't die.I look around the room, my eyes land on the window once more. I smash it with the metal bar, and start to pull myself through, since the window wasn't high above the ground. I turn around seeing Suzanne struggling on the ground. Our eyes meet, I can't leave this woman behind says one part of me, but another want myself to live.I back down, quickly slumping Suzanne Collins above my shoulder, jumping through the window. We land on the soft-hard grass. I turn around, seeing the home engulfed with the almost creature like flames. I drag her around the corner of her house, to the backyard, where Seydi should be. I lay her on her side. Her eyes were waterfalls, with tears falling at a rapid rate."Seydi?" I call out. No answer."SEYDI?" I call out again. I felt a bead of sweat trickle down my spine. I use the collar of my shirt and wipe my forehead. I look around, when Seydi comes screaming out of the house. She hopes over a railing and lands on the ground. She pushes herself up and runs towards me and...Suzanne. She puts her arms out and gives me a tight hug. I follow, patting my ally's back. We unfold yourself. Seydi has tears dripping down her face, showing clean skin for her dirty face. All around her body were burns and charred clothing. She lets out a small sob.I wipe the tear off her face and give her a bear hug."You're okay Seydi. You are okay." She sniffs loudly then wipes her eyes with her shirt. I turn around, kneeling on the jade grass."Y-you MONSTERs. You ruined everything I had..THAT BOOK HAD A FUTURE." She sobs. She thrashes around, but stops from her broken limbs. I want to apologize but I can't, whatever she did had to have some meaning later in history, but what did that Adolf Hitler fellow do?"What was your book called, Mrs.Collins?" Seydi asks, suddenly becoming polite, and showing signs of sympathy."It was going to be Called the Hunger Games, with 13, well 12 district." She stopped herself. "Why should I tell you? You ruined any chance I had a making a chance with the book." She rolls over.My mind shatters like glass, thoughts rocket through my mind on how to react. I slump into a ball, falling onto the grass. My mind and senses blank. Only thoughts stay.Her.She is the reason. She was the one to make us kill each other. This monster, this horrible person. This devil. She is the reason. She is the reason we die.
