How To Be A Sponsor
"I'm so excited for the interviews! Which tribute will be lucky enough to have me as a sponsor?" Roux said with a grin as he strutted into the sponsor's lounge that overlooked the interviews that were about to be opened. He lifted his warm cup of coffee to his lips and let the warm liquid slide down his throat.
Turt lay sprawled across the couch, he flashed a ballsy grin at Roux. "Perhaps we could sponsor each other tonight... if you catch my drift."
Coffee squirted out of Roux's nose. "Ew! Hell no. I thought you were straight? Or are you just so desperate at this point in your life that you'd have sex with a tree if it showed interest?" Roux replied irritably dabbing the coffee the dripped from his face with a napkin.
Turt let out a long sigh and looked over at Neith hopefully, "What about you, babe, you wa-"
"If you continue that sentence I will shoot you. " Her midnight black eyes peered over the computer screen that she had balanced on her lap. After a long second they flickered down, refocused on whatever her screen held.
Turt pursed his lip and nodded curtly, he'd seen plenty of woman with that look of malice in their eyes and he knew from experience that a woman with that expression meant every word she said. "Well if either of you two change your minds or have any sexy siblings just let me know." He laughed stuffing a pastry in his mouth.
Roux dumped the rest of his coffee on the man's head. "In your dreams, creepy old pervert."
"I will cherish them." Turt laughed, a pissed look settling over his face as he grabbed a napkin and began wiping off his face. "Besides, I'd rather be a creepy old pervert than a brainless dress-up doll anyway."
Roux's jaw dropped. "I'm plenty intelligent! And- And modeling is an art! Not just anyone can do it." He snapped angrily placing a hand on his hip.
"You know what? I dare both of you to do something actually productive for once." Neith's sharp voice cut through the argument like a knife as she folded her computer and looked up at them coldly. "I have listened to you banter for three weeks. I am sick of both of you."
Turt raised his eyebrows at the dark skinned woman who was free of any surgical altering. "Oh. And what would you have us do?" He demanded snidely.
Neith snorted as if Turt was the dumbest creature she'd ever had the dishonor of dealing with. "Well for starters forget the interviews. They are all so rehearsed you won't get to see who a tribute actually is. I'd recommend watching replays of the readings, observe the tribute's reactions, how they respond. When a person is in shock they are generally stripped of any defensive covering, allowing you to see who they truly are."

I know I said we were going to do interviews after the private training sessions; I lied. Interviews are so overdone they have ceased to be fun anymore. Instead we are going to do something that has never been done before in the history of author games; You are going to write from one of the sponsors POV's (Neith, Turt or Roux) as they re-watch your tribute's reaping. Choose wisely because who you choose will affect who sponsors you. You can describe it and write about how your chosen sponsor reacts to your tribute as they weigh the pro's and cons of sponsoring you. THEY ARE NOT TO REACH A CONCLUSION.
Be sure to describe your tribute's reaping as well! This is a great opportunity to describe your tribute from another person's POV.
I understand this task might sound a tad complicated, so don't be afraid to ask questions.
Like the interviews, this task will determine sponsorships! So write your twisted hearts out! :)
I hope more of you hand in this time. This will be the first task in which you can see your other tribute's writing and can weigh out the competition.
This is due June 18th, 8:00 PM EST USA.
ALSO, Please send all of your entries to my new email [email protected] so I don't loose them!
