Chapter 1
A/N: The Y/N here is a mid-sized woman and 24 years old, also I know Freddy Krueger is a dream demon and can't be killed technically but, I made it so that the only way he can kill you is if you're afraid of him. Those who are not scared of him, are the only ones that can hurt him/possibly kill him.

You will be the first to admit that fresh out of nursing school, you did not expect your first job to be working at an asylum. You wondered what level of crazy you were going to get. The anxiety-driven, the depressed-driven or would you be the oh, so lucky one to deal with the criminally insane? You lived off happiness, and anxiety with a sprinkle of spite so you would rather be with them. You'll see though. You had done a video call meeting and were hired which you were happy about and were set to start working the next day. That was rather quick but I am not one to look a gift horse in the mouth plus needing money you just got yourself ready. You had to wear red scrubs and, you figured maybe that was everyone's uniform. You had driven yourself to the asylum and were shocked by the amount of security on the outside.
"Visitation is not permitted unless confirmed by government officials." That was not the first thing you wanted to hear on your first day on the job. You smiled anyway at the stern-faced guard who didn't break eye contact.
"I am not visiting, today is my first day as a nurse here." You showed him your I.D. along with the papers mailed to you earlier in the week that were thoroughly looked over. Once your I.D. and papers were given back you were allowed into the heavily guarded facility. What kind of people were homed here? You hoped you weren't biting off more than you can chew. You parked your car near an entrance and, you could have sworn you felt eyes on you from the windows. You glanced up noticing more than one pair was watching you so you just ignored it. This is an asylum after all. Once inside you went straight to the receptionist who was on their phone.
"Excuse me, sir, my name is Y/N L/N, I'm the new nurse working here." He glanced up at you, looking at the computer before nodding and gesturing for you to follow him.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, my name is Nurse Randall, and I hope you stay longer than some of our other nurses." You had no answer and you were starting to think this is where they just sent all beginner nurses until they found better and closer jobs to where they lived. You looked around and saw some nurses with different color scrubs so you wondered why you had to wear red scrubs. Maybe every set of nurses had different patients? "Fortunately for you, not only am I a receptionist I'm the one who will show you around and answer all your questions." You wish he would have said that from the jump but, whatever.
"That's fantastic. How come all the nurses have different colored scrubs?" He tilted his head at you as you guys went past corridors getting to more heavily locked and secured doors. What was going on?
"Depending on the patients they take care of. You will be taking care of our most dangerous patients." He was giving you a look as if you were supposed to know this information already. You were starting to understand why nurses came and went. "That's why you're wearing red. Easily identifiable." You'll say. You can be seen within a five-mile radius. "Plus, the patients seem to like the color." Oh great, fantastic. Color of blood. Until it becomes oxygenated. You had nothing else to say as he took you past the heavily guarded doors and four guards accompanied both of you. This was crazy already and it was only your first day.
"How come I wasn't informed of this?" You looked at him and this time he raised both eyebrows at you.
"What do you mean you weren't informed? I explicitly told my boss to inform you of your position including the patient's files. You weren't informed on your interview?" You shook your head no and he face-palmed. "No wonder you're so confused... no worries, you're going to meet them now." You were giving him the side-eye but, maybe it won't be as bad as you thought. They were crazy people, murderers, psychopaths, you knew how to be genuine and you knew what you were getting into by becoming a nurse. You walked through the pristine white hallways and made two lefts before stopping at the first door. You looked and it was labeled Michael Myers. You felt your heart skip a beat. The Michael Myers was here. The one who is known in Haddonfield, Illinois for killing so many people every week of Halloween, most of them on Halloween itself. You were more fascinated than scared because you knew he could take the four of you out if he truly cared to, or provoked enough.
"Michael, I know you know we are here. I want to introduce our new nurse to you." You stood there patiently as the guards moved for Randall to open the door and 2 went inside while the other 2 stood outside. You noticed his large hunched-over figure sitting at a desk working on a mask. Wow, he was really good with his hands. You glanced up at the wall looking over the various masks he had and you were in awe. When you were tapped on the shoulder you came back to reality noticing Michael didn't even bother turning.
"Hi, Michael. My name is Nurse Y/N L/N. I was looking at your masks and I love the amount of detail you put into your masks." You saw his head move slightly in your direction meaning you said something right. "I really like the clown masks, you put a lot of detail into them." He turned to you fully with his head making the guards tense and resting their hands on their tasers. You both looked at each other and the longer he looked the more nervous you got. To your relief though he nodded slightly and turned back to the mask in hand. You felt proud that you got the shape of Haddonfield to acknowledge you and not attack on sight. All of you exited the room, locking up behind you and Randall turned to you with a slight grin.
"I'm impressed that Michael acknowledged you. All of the other nurses we had, he would ignore them." You nodded as you walked over to the next cell that had a sign with Jason Voorhees on it. No way they actually got Jason to leave Camp Crystal Lake.
"How did you get Jason to leave Camp Crystal Lake?" Randall looked at you with a slight head tilt.
"He never did, we took him." You nodded opting to be quiet as his door was unlocked and you saw it was bigger than Michaels. Only one guard came in with the other three standing in and near the door. He must have a history of being more tranquil than Michael even if they both sliced people up and have equal strength. Once inside you saw he was writing in a journal. That shouldn't have surprised you but, it did and he had a whole stationery of art supplies including scissors. It's a miracle he has access to such items he can use to harm if he wants to.
"Hi, Jason! My name is Y/N L/N and I am your new nurse." He was already looking at you and waved at you before going back to his journaling. You figured that was all you were going to get out of him so you were happy about that. The rest of you left the room after that and the next room had the words Danny Johnson across it, having never heard of them.
"Now this one is a special case, he's very touchy, likes to hug and overall one of the easiest ones here to talk to. Clearly, he won't do it now but, for future references, he might." You nodded your head and were a little excited to enter the room to talk to him even if it was simple hi. Once in the room, only one guard was needed while the rest were outside. Danny looked young, you could tell he didn't sleep much but, he had prominent smile lines which you can see now that he was smiling directly at you. You couldn't help but, smile back at him.
"Hey! You're the new nurse, right? What's your name?" He was lively and you felt you would get along quite well with him while you were here.
"Yeah I am, my name is Y/N L/N. It's nice to meet you, Danny." His arms twitched but, he didn't move. That means what Randall said was true, he definitely was going to hug you but, didn't want to be tased or hit by one of the guards. After leaving you wanted to know where he came from, what was he? You had to read his files along with everyone else you were going to be in charge of. The next room had Evan Macmillan on the door. You were waiting for Randall to open the door but, he turned to you instead.
"He's very stand-offish and will not speak, just looks and he wears a grotesque mask with...spikes attached to him...He, Danny, and a few others here claimed they came from the Entity's world and they came from different time periods." You raised an eyebrow and he shrugged his shoulders. Might as well believe them, the last thing you wanted to do was provoke someone intentionally here in the asylum. After he was sure you were ready, he opened the door with two guards going inside. You were not prepared for the sight in front of you. He was a huge man sitting there facing the door with a grotesque mask and what looked like spikes coming out of his skin. It looked like it hurt.
"Hi, Evan...My name is Y/N L/N and I'm the new nurse here...I hope to talk to you whenever you're ready to." Just like Randall said, he didn't look at you nor move from his spot but, you felt like you were being watched. Hard to tell behind that mask where his eyes were looking. You left the room giving him a small smile before exiting just in case he was looking and, moved on to the next room that read Philip. Who was that?
"Is this another one from the Entities Realm?" Randall nodded.
"We don't have much information on him, he doesn't talk and is rather tranquil, to be honest." That was proven true when no guards came in and he looked up when you and Randall entered. You already had a smile and waved at him maintaining eye contact. He had smoky grey eyes which you've actually never seen in person and it matched perfectly with his long grey-ish hair. You had no idea how old he was but, if you had to guess you would say in his 40's maybe. "Philip this is Nurse Y/N L/N, she's new and will be taking care of you and the others here."He simply glanced at Randall, his gaze focusing back on you. It was unnerving and made you want to squirm but, you resisted the urge to do so. You didn't want to give the wrong impression to any of them.
"I hope to get to know you during my stay." He said nothing as expected so you waved to him and turned to leave with Randall feeling Philip's eyes on you the whole time. As you walked to the next room you heard an obnoxiously loud voice talking to himself. You side-eyed Randall seeing him roll his eyes towards you.
"That's Freddy. He's the most annoying out of all of them. Never shuts up, crude and perverted to everyone and anyone." You huffed not looking forward to this individual. You felt like you might've heard of him though. When Randall opened the door you saw a burnt man with a Fedora, red and green striped sweater, and brown pants. This was the nightmare demon.
"Oh you're the nightmare demon, you know my name already I'm sure. Nurse Y/N. Nice to see you." You grinned at him already knowing how he liked to kill and you didn't like him much. He was looking at you up and down with a snarky grin.
"You got a nice set of-" You cut him off before he can finish that sentence.
"Yeah, I got other people to see, save the banter for next time Fred." You exited the room before Randall did ready to head to the next person. Randall locked the door and looked between you and the door.
"At least I don't have to worry about him hurting you." You shook your head no. You walked ahead and stopped in front of the door with the words Executioner. You peeked through the window and saw a hunched-over figure with some sort of helmet on their head. Hard to tell who they were.
"I see you saw the Executioner." You turned to Randall who was looking through the window with you. "We are not going in there. We honestly don't even know how we managed to get him in there. I'm pretty sure it's because he let us. He's humongous and fucking strong." Not needing another warning you guys continued on to the next door that said Bubba Sawyer. Hm.
"Bubba is a cute nickname got to admit." You got no response but, wasn't expecting one. The two of you entered the room with 2 guards and Bubba turned to all of you making a squealing noise. You found yourself smiling at him and waving. "Hi Bubba, my name is Y/N L/N and I'm the new nurse that's going to take care of you." He made another squealing noise and clapped his hands. He was acting really cute for someone who killed a ton of people.
"She will see you later for lunch Bubba, we got to go." He grunted and with a wave at you turned back around to do whatever he was doing. You just caught a glimpse of how his personality can flip a switch. All of you left his room and went to the next person.
"We might have to speed run the next ones since we running a bit behind and I need you situated to accompany all of them to lunch." You nodded ready to meet the rest of them.
