Just like Shadow said he came back and was going to be in for a surprise, as he brought some things for Sonic. As he walked over towards the asylum, he began thinking to himself it was like an obsession now just seeing the way he acted as well as his appearance, the images memories of yesterday were flooding into his mind never ceased to stop becoming a constant reminder to the ebony hedgehog. He had to find out he just had to Shadow needed to know what had happened and more some wanting to find out actually behind the whole asylum as to what was going on, however gathering information was going to be tricky. Though he also remembered the actions that he had done to the other, thinking about it caused the beat of his heart to quicken feeling the frail hedgehog lean into his touch made him tighten up a bit.

He quickly shook his head ridding the thoughts that invaded his mind, he needed to stay focused and think clearly on what he was doing he had a mission to do and was determined to follow through it. Shadow was now at the front entrance of the building taking a deep breath and ventured in opening the front door as he went to a receptionist desk. Occupying the area was a women around her forties and was typing something on the computer, that was until she noticed the ebony hedgehog and focused her attention on him "Yes, how can I help you?" She asked as she took off her reading glasses. "I'm here to see Sonic" He said plainly.

The woman put her glasses back on as she looked at the computer screen placing her hand on to the mouse, and had pulled up a page on it reading it over carefully before she returned her attention over towards the ebony hedgehog. "So you're here to talk to him privately...didn't know he was shy around others" She said to him. Shadow gave her a simple nod before he spoke "Well I wouldn't say he was shy, but he is full of surprises". She then took out a pager and called for one of the guards at the asylum, every now and then the patients here would do very unbelievable things to someone if they get they're hands on them. "Now just wait here, I'll have a guard to send you to your friend's room" She said to him with a small smile.

Some time later Shadow was now guided by one of the security guards he was on his way to where the sickly hedgehog was at, though when he had talked to Helen he was curious as to why she asked if he could wait twenty minutes before seeing Sonic. Maybe it was nothing, probably was just getting some stuff set up for his arrival. he just shrugged the thought off as he looked around a little taking in the new surroundings his ruby eyes glanced over, even he had to admit that this place was pretty creepy. No matter, he wasn't going to let that get to him he knew something was off when he first looked at Sonic and after receiving that 'HELP ME!' note, but he had to wonder why neither of his rival's friends saw how the feeble hedgehog was acting.

"We're here" came the gruff voice of the security guard said, his gruff voice taking Shadow from him from his thoughts as the man stopped at a certain door. Crimson eyes looked over it scanning over the label, it read 'Room 209, Patient: Sonic The Hedgehog'. The sound of jingling keys jangled as the man unhooked them from his belt loop and went to open the door, though after walking with the guy the ebony hedgehog felt a suspicious feeling building inside of him. It was like the guy was sending out strange vibes like the ones you get when you know something just didn't sit well, sort of like a gut feeling. In all honesty to Shadow the man did come off a little shady when he arrived at the receptionist desk, but he just left it aside since he had other things on his mind. He then heard the door open, however what his ruby eyes saw he knew it was one sight he wouldn't forget not even if he tried to this is if he could.

When he walked into the room he was shocked but what he saw, the dull colored hedgehog was sitting on his bed while his lithe body was leaned against the wall and his appearance made him look like a zombie. His eyes were glazed over with vacancy occupying them, the ebony hedgehog had noticed that the other was twitching somewhat and had drooled on a bit on himself which Helen quickly wiped off.  A sigh followed as she brought her gaze at the G.U.N agent looking at him with pleading eyes filled with sorrow, the young lady felt sorry and wanted to help the poor hedgehog yet she didn't know how exactly. Shadow was the first to speak as he cleared his throat "Is...Is he alright?" he asked the nurse, being wary of Sonic's current condition. "He is he's just been sedated for a bit, but it should be wearing off soon" Helen said as she then got up off of the bed and walked over to him handing the hedgehog a walky talky.

He raised an eye ridge as he looked up at her a bit confused for a moment, before she explained it to him "It's just for when something goes wrong, or when you have to leave" she said to him. Shadow didn't really think that Sonic could be capable of causing harm to someone in his state, especially seeing him drugged and tied up to the bed. He really couldn't, but if he let his guard down there's no telling what the other might do to him for all he knew he would've thought that the dull hedgehog was pretending the whole time, whether he was faking or not Shadow wasn't going to take any chances. A soft groan made ebony colored ears perk up, along with ruby eyes looking over towards the source of the sound and this also alerted Helen as she brought her gaze to where the sound came from. Both of them saw Sonic was coming out of his dazed state, and his nurse was the first to speak "It seems like the sedative wore off" she then walked over towards the hedgehog who was sitting on the bed.

(Sonic's Pov)

Everything felt so fuzzy when I began coming to, though before that all around me felt so surreal yet vague each and every time that doctor gave me that medicine. I've always constantly hated  how it made me feel, he kept telling me "That it was for my own good" yeah right. Once I was sort of back to normal I heard the sound of heels walk up shortly towards me, this made me look up to see who it was and when I did I furrowed my brow together seeing if the person that was before me real. "Helen" I questioned my voice a little rasped still wondering if my mind was playing tricks on me, thankfully it wasn't when she placed a hand on my shoulder speaking to me in the same kind tone she continued to have. "Yes Sonic, it's me" I was always glad when she was around taking care of me, but I was a little sadden and curious by what she said next, "I'm going to be leaving you with someone".

I raised an eye ridge at her still wanting to know who that someone was, up until she stepped aside revealing that someone to be Shadow I also saw the security guard that was standing right outside of the doorway.  In reaction I began growing wary with fear growing and anxiety steadily increasing as I felt my heart began to start beating faster and faster, the terror inside me clawing it's way at my body as I continued to stare at him, that security guard was one of them. I think his name was Lucian, he was with them violating me touch all over my body, hands going lower and lower of where I don't want them to be I can still freshly remember it. Helen, Shadow, and Lucian all three of them notice my behavior all of them noticed my behavior and out of the three Helen was the first to do something, as usual. "Hey it's alright, everything is fine...no one is going to do anything to you" She said to me in a hush voice, in an attempt to calm me which it did.

As I brought my attention towards her I began to settle some, however I was still wary about the security guard that continued to stand in the doorway. Though Shadow had glanced over at him and then looked over back at me, he probably knew something  felt wrong since his eyes showed he was suspicious. Those same eyes I always seem drawn to they held me in a trance and I felt like couldn't break away from them, yet I shook that feeling away I can't get distracted. After all of what happened my nurse walked back over towards Shadow telling him a few things before she left with Lucian, oh how I was so happy for him to leave though I was even more happier seeing that Shadow kept his word and came back. One step closer to getting out of this place and getting as far away as possible from here no more tests, no more torture, no more assaults, and especially no more unwanted contacts from both the people that worked at the asylum and from the patients.

once everything was in order the two hedgehogs were finally alone together Shadow was sitting on the chair right in front of the other, he took two things a note book with a pencil and a tape recorder. Though when Sonic saw these items he was completely confused no clue what so ever on what the G.U.N agent was planning, but he continued to trust him. He watched as the ebony hedgehog placed the tape recorder onto the bed seeing that his arms were tied up by the restraints of the straight jacket. "Alright, I'm going to ask you a few things and I just want you to tell me what you know" Shadow said to him, in response Sonic nodded at him waiting for the first question to be asked. Hopefully he could answer them well enough for the other to understand without getting confused.

Shadow then opened the notebook, that was after he had turned on the tape recorder and pressed the record button,  then he asked his first question " How long have you been in here?". The pale hedgehog thought for a moment or two trying to remember, but couldn't "I don't...remember.." he answered frowning a little. Ruby eyes scanned over the other's appearance studying him before writing down a few notes "Do you know why you're here?" he asked him, he wanted to hear what Sonic had to say for his part of the story. "For mental...help..." he answered and yet again, the ebony hedgehog wrote a few more notes. It felt like forever with all the questioning and answers that were either interesting or nothing of any importance, but the G.U.N agent had to continue on interrogating the other if he wanted to get anywhere.

So with the next question he had in mind he wanted to see if there was going to be any change in Sonic's stature "What goes on at the Asylum when I'm not here?" Shadow asked, though the answer he got from the pale hedgehog was an immediate one which surprised him a little "Bad things..." after that was said, there was definitely a change in the other. Looking at emerald eyes he saw that they were glazed over and seemed to have darkened a little this meant Sonic was thinking about something that happened to him. The air around them grew eerie causing Shadow to became more cautious as he took note of the scene before him, writing down the other's shift in behavior before asking another question "What kind of bad things?". Sonic furrowed his brow together as well as lowered his ears down a little, he remained silent pressing his lips tightly forming them into a thin line. It was like he was stuck in some sort of self induce trance horror memories of what he had experienced were replaying all over again, he could hear his own screams of pleading echo through his mind.

Though before the ebony hedgehog could ask anything else, the feeble hedgehog answered with dread lacing his voice "assaulted...doctors...they hurt me...everyone...lying to people...patients...all of them...bad touch...". After hearing these things Shadow added some more notes in his notebook, he couldn't believe what he was hearing from him and more importantly if what he was saying was true this needed to be investigated more. How to do it is the only problem and had two choices he could make he could either ask some of the faculties that work here, or maybe h could sneak around and collect information for himself. He then looked over towards Sonic he wanted to ask him another question, which was one that he shouldn't have asked "Why do you think they would do that?". Of course Shadow didn't have any clue what so ever on the events that took place in the asylum, but that's why he's here to find out.

"I...I'm not sure...they...they..." the blue hedgehog stopped talking as his eyes now showed panic and terror at the same time his breathing then started quickening, he was becoming frantic as memories flashed like lightening. Shadow growing worried as he placed his pencil and notebook onto the bed, then turned off the tape recorder off "Sonic?" he asked calling out to him. Though his words fell onto deaf ears as he watched the other pin his ears back, hunching over slightly in an attempt to curl up into a ball but couldn't. His emerald eyes looked as though they had shrunken a little, he was now looking at the floor rocking himself back and forth "They're liars...all of them...lies...everyone makes...fun...they laugh...I'm not...lying...I'm not crazy..." Sonic said clenching his teeth together, shutting his eyes having pin pricks of tears forming at the corners of his eyes. Remembering what Helen said, he gently placed a hand on the blue hedgehog's back softly soothing him calmly which seemed to work as he watched the other start to settle down and once he did he looked over towards Shadow then rested his head onto his chest.

This surprised the ebony hedgehog a little taken a back by the sudden action, but none of the less he recomposed himself and gently hugged Sonic along with rubbing his gloved hand on the other hedgehog's arm. However, there was one question throughout this whole time that hasn't been answered no matter how much he thought about it, Shadow still couldn't answer it himself all that ran through his mind was one question as he looked at the other 'What happened to you?'.
