The Child is Crying, What Do I Do?
Warning: Mentions of dead bodies, swearing f*ck and sh*t, fights, anger.
Thomas wasn't let out for hours. He had no idea how long it had been, but due to the fact that he was given no food, he believed just a night. Unless, he slept the day away, and they didn't feed patients and-
There was a clank from behind him, making him turn around and the door opened. Light lit up his red, puffy eyes and red, tear stained cheeks.
They dragged him into his feet and took him out.
Thomas said nothing, just hung his head, hair covering his eyes. The jacket was taken off of him, his hands cuffed behind his back and was dragged to the cafeteria.
He hoped Patton was there, he'd give him some comfort. But luck was not on his side, it was just Virgil, Janus and Remus.
Sure they were nice but, god he needed Patton. Where was Patton? And Roman? And Logan?
Thomas hesitated and got a tray with food - ha, as if you could call it that - and slowly went over to the table.
"C-can I sit with you guys?" He asked, shyly.
Janus got up and hugged him immediately, "we heard what happened."
Thomas frowned, setting his tray down and leaning into Janus, who sat him down next to him, not letting go.
Remus frowned, "we told you to do what Picani says."
"I-I know b-but-" Thomas sniffed, a fresh set of tears starting up again.
Janus panicked, "h-hey, wait-"
Thomas began to cry again, tears rolling down his cheeks and clung to Janus jumpsuit tightly.
Janus looked to Remus and Virgil, "what do I do?!" He asked panicked.
Virgil shrugged and Remus moved next to Thomas, gently brushing the boy's hair, "hey, look at me."
Thomas shook his head, but Remus pressed on gently, "look at me Thomas."
Thomas looked up, only for Remus to brush away tears with the sleeve of his jumpsuit, "we know what Picani says are lies, but he believes they're truths. Now, next session you'll agree and make up stories so that this doesn't happen again. We know what you say is truth and the lies you say are lies, he believes what fits his theories."
The boy turned to Janus, "Picani doesn't like you..."
"Oh I know. And I just love him."
"How come?"
Janus smirked, "I'm a liar. I've managed to convince guards and nurses to let me go. When I was a free man, I had always managed to convince government party's, newspapers and media coverage to do my bidding." He explained, "because I've done all this, he tries to lock me in Isolation. He never succeeds, because I'm well-behaved."
Thomas smiled slightly, his tears practically gone, "that's clever."
"Thank you."
"What about your Remus?" Thomas asked.
"Me?" Remus asked, his chest puffing out in pride, "I have intrusive thoughts! I've used those thoughts to threaten people! Roman and I were sent here because we were caught mid-robbery."
"So, Romans in here because of theft?"
Virgil smirked, "oh no, much more then that. But, that's for him to tell you." He licked his lips slightly at that.
He remembers when he first met his prince - not that Roman knew Virgil saw him as his. He was new to the Asylum, and Roman had rebelled. He had ripped his jumpsuit pants, so they showed off his legs, almost like booty shorts. He ripped the sleeves off, so he could show his muscles, and he had styled his hair with water. God, he was - is perfect.
Of course, Roman was thrown in Isolation for it, as was Remus who tried to stop them. But, Virgil would go back on his oaths to the Mafia if it meant Roman would have him back.
"So, I get you're a Don," Thomas said, "but wouldn't they just put you in jail? Or something of that manner?"
Virgil smirked, a dark, sinister look in his eyes, "yeah, had it not been from all the dead bodies I stacked up in my life."
Thomas paled, "a-ah..."
"Oh calm down, my emo nightmare." Arms wrapped around Virgil, making him sigh.
"Hey Romano." Virgil smirked, making Roman glare.
"I thought we agreed to drop that nickname!"
"I didn't agree to shit." Virgil grinned, as Roman sat next to him a pout on face.
Roman eventually noticed Thomas, "hey kid, how are you?"
"Does everyone know about what happened?" Thomas asked shyly.
"Kinda, not that it matters. Everyone gets thrown in at some point. Word of advice, if that happens again, sing. It keeps you sane." The moustache-less twin offered.
"Sing?" Thomas questioned, tilting his head.
"Yeah! I sing Disney songs." Roman answered, "or you can recite poems, raps or facts like Logan."
"Logan raps?" The teen laughed.
"I have an appreciation for poetry." Logan said from behind Thomas, sitting down, "fair warning, Patton is angry. So, let him do whatever he wishes, so long as it's not hurting someone."
Just as Logan finished talking, there was a loud bang and the table shook. Patton had slammed his hands down on the metal table, his eyes dark in anger.
"Who the fuck put you in that goddamn cell?!" Patton yelled, his eyes in a glare.
Thomas shook and leaned into Remus, tearing up in fear. Now he can see why Patton's in here. Anger issues, bad ones.
Janus got up and gently placed a hand on the blondes shoulder, "Patton, calm down. Can't you see you're scaring Thomas? And, that was your last chance, I don't want you thrown in one of those rooms."
"Fuck it! At least that way, I don't have to see that quack of a doctor! Because the moment I see that bastard I'm breaking his fucking nose!"
That was it for Patton, Janus had tried to stop them but Patton was dragged off to Isolation, kicking and screaming. The freckled man had managed to get a few good kicks and punches at the guards, cursing out about he'd kill Emile, before he was injected and dragged off.
The group watched, Janus' heart breaking as he sat down, "why can't Pat keep his anger in check when he needs to..."
"Fuck, the child is crying, what do I do?!" Logan asked, as Thomas began to cry again and clung to him.
Remus sighed, "I've already dealt with him, your turn now Logie."
"What? No!"
Janus turned them out, staring in the direction Patton was dragged off in, Patton wouldn't last a day in that cell, and he knew that. He just hoped the punishment would last too long.
