Be A Liar

A few weeks had passed and Jimin was doing very well. He wasn't nervous anymore and he seemed to be more himself, more relaxed. Even more himself than he was before. We were able to work out a system where he could work 3 days a week and just come home when his days were done. The medication seemed to be helping him not hold back anymore either. I didn't realize how much he was holding in before. He laughed more, he opened up about his hopes and dreams, he even opened up in the bedroom wanting to expereiment and do different things. It was amazing.

As for the rest of them, they were all flourishing. Namjoon and Jin got engaged. Some people may think it was too fast but with everything they went through and all of the progress they made they deserved whatever kind of happiness they wanted. So I promised I'd be there for the wedding. Yoongi was also doing wonderful. His alter had not resurfaced since he moved out of the house and he and Namjoon worked together as producers for Big Hit. They have been approached to be idols themselves and though it is something Yoongi dreamed about, he was content on being behind the scenes. He wanted a family and didn't want any more time wasted waiting to begin his search. Jungkook and Hoseok were the most sought out choreographers in the area. They were able to score a 6 year contract with Big Hit just as Namjon and Yoongi did.

Tae finally asked out the girl he had been crushing on. She is an idol so their relationship had to be kept secret but he was happy with it. He worked along side her for a while now and through his 5 year contract he wouldn't have to be too far away from her. They were willing to work it out any way they could to stay together. I was happy for him.

One day when I was waiting for Jimin to come home I decided to take a bath. I put extra bubbles in, my favorite salts, lit some candles, and had soft music playing in the background. I was so relaxed.

Things are going well.

Mhmm.

You're avoiding it again.

No I'm not.

Yes...you are. You can't avoid if forever.

I just want to relax in the bath.

You will have to tell him eventually.

There is nothing to tell him.

You've never been a liar before.

I don't have to tell him anything.

Did you forget the whole reason why you wanted to become a doctor to begin with?

Shut up.

Did you forget?

Stop.

Or are you trying to forget?.

"JUST STOP!" I shouted sitting up quickly. I gasped in fear as I saw Jimin standing there outside the bathtub. "Damn it Jimin you scared me." I breathed heavily with my hand to my chest.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to." He chuckled. "Mind if I join you?"

"Sure." I smiled leaning forward even more.

I watched with hungry eyes as he stripped from his clothes. He winked at me coming over to my side of the bathtub stepping in behind me. His legs went on either side of me and he gently lowered himself in. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me to lean onto him as he leaned onto the back of the tub. I took a deep breath and let it out relaxing into his body. He played with the water and washed my arms and my chest placing soft kisses on my neck and shoulders.

It was silent for a while until he started to talk. "I was offered a contract today."

"You were? That's great Jimin, I'm proud of you." I said squeezing his arms attempting a hug.

He chuckled. "I just need a signed document from my doctor saying I'm okay to work. I told them it would be a while before I could get it."

"Not too much longer Jimin...only a few more weeks and if everything goes the way it has been going I will surly have that letter written in a heartbeat."

"Mmmm, thank you baby." He said kissing my neck again. "How was your day?"

"I didn't really do much...just watched some TV, shopped while you were gone and when I got home I made the bath."

"Sounds exciting...buy anything good?"

"A few new dresses."

He picked up my hand and started playing with my fingers. "Nothing else happened today? Nothing you want to tell me about?"

"What do you mean?" I asked my blood pressure starting to rise.

"Nothing...just making sure is all." He kissed me on my shoulder.

We sat in the tub for a while until the water started to become cold. We decided to get out, make some hot cocoa and watch The Haunting of Hill House on Netflix. Once we were settled on the couch, Jimin pulled up the show but didn't play it. Instead he turned to me.

"Baby, I'm going to ask you something and I don't want you to get mad okay?"

"Okay?"

"Who were you talking to before I got home?"

"I wasn't talking to anyone."

"Okay.  It sounded like you were having an argument though."

I gulped. "Um....how much did you hear?"

"I'm not sure...but I heard you say something about having to 'tell him.' I wasn't sure who that 'him' was." His look was so concerned and I started to panic. "I thought  I was the only 'him' in your life right now." He teased making the situation a little lighter.

"You are." I said cupping his cheek and kissing him softly.

He nodded. "So what do you need to tell me?"

"I was just arguing with myself...it didn't have anything to do with you."

He nodded again. "You know if there is something you need to talk about you can talk to me right? You can trust me?"

"I know." I assured him.

Thankfully he dropped the conversation and started the show, which turned out to be very good but extremely scary.

Just tell him...he'd understand.

Stop.

Seriously...you are going to regret not telling him if you keep this up.

I shook my head and pinched the bridge of my nose.

"Another headache?" Jimin asked running his fingers through my hair.

"No, I'm okay. Thanks though."

We watched two episodes of the show before I fell asleep next to him. A few hours later I woke up in my bed with Jimin's arms wrapped around me. There was a piece of paper in my hand though and as quietly as I could I opened it.

Whenever you want to talk I'm here...you're not alone and remember,
'we're all mad here.'

~Jimin ♥️

My heart started to race and when I looked down to Jimin his eyes were open.

"Are you ready to talk?"

"Jimin I told you there is nothing to talk about." I said sitting up.

He sat up with me and took hold of my hand. "She was right you know."

"Who was?"

"Whoever you were talking to."

I scoff. "And what exactly were they right about?"

"You never used to be a liar."
