"What?!" The younger man yelled. His mouth was opened from shock as he had found out what had happened to his ex-wife and daughter. The news spread out too quickly. He ran his hand through his short purple hair and sighed. "This can't be happening!" He screamed, throwing on his jacket in a fast pace.

His wife, Enno, looked at her husband in confusion and asked, "Macao, dear, what's wrong?" Macao froze, not wanting to tell Enno the reason. "W-Well..." He felt the tears rush to his eyes as he prepared to tell Enno. "I-I found out someone so dear to me is dead... And I'm going to find out what happened. Just stay here and take care of Romeo please."

Romeo Conbolt was his five year old son that he and Enno both raised. Enno frowned and said, "I want to support you in this. Please take me with you." Macao shook his head and replied, "I don't want Romeo seeing this violence and I don't want him to know any of this. Just tell him that I went on a job or something. I'll be back later." Macao said as he kissed his wife on the forehead and left the household.

Enno sighed as she watched her husband walk out and quietly said, "He's always focused on his work than me..."

Walking in the rain, Macao tried his best to walk faster and avoid any muddy puddles. He had taken a train to Hythe, but it seemed the area where the death occurred was miles away from the train, making him walk there on foot. He looked down, wondering how this could've happened. Was it the dangerous neighborhood, was it a rival guild, was it a monster?!

Was it him?

Of course, he thought, it was him. It was his fault that he left his family, his wife and daughter, out in the danger. It was him, who out his wife into major stress and his daughter in depression. It was him, who killed his wife and daughter.

He rubbed his eyes due to tears escaping from his eyes. He looked up to see the destruction of the guild his ex-wife and daughter. He gasped at the sight and saw many officials around the area along with tapes around the area, permitting citizens to go through this site. An officer noticed Macao creeping up to the area and turned to him. "Who are you and why are you here?!" He asked, raising his pistol towards Macao.

Macao raised his hands up and replied, "I-I'm just here to see what happened... My wife and daughter were slain here..." The officer lowered his gun and walked towards Macao. "Your daughter and wife were killed here? How are your certain?" The officer asked. "My ex-wife and daughter were members of this guild... I want to know what happened."

The officer nodded and let him through the tape. "We've asked the townspeople and eye witnesses and they claim that demons attacked this area. It is possible that this guild was a target of the assassination guild run by demons. So far we've found 50 bodies over the ages of 20. The townspeople said that a child was also apart of the guild, but we haven't found the child. We suspect that she's either dead or missing. Possibly taken by the demons, but I don't think that happened."

"Oh god..." Macao gasped as he saw body bags over the field. "May I ask where the female body bags if I can see if my ex-wife is there?" Macao asked. The officer nodded and led the way. He walked by the bags seeing the tags that described the females.

Macao gazed onto the tag and read the description. 'Long, brown hair placed in braid. Colored eyes." This had to be her. Macao kneeled down to the wet grass and secretly opened the bag and almost vomited. He didn't dare look at the features that happened to her, but looked at her appearance to see if it was his ex-wife. She still wore a long dress and oddly, did not have her necklace. Macao gasped as he laid his eyes on her hand and started to feel tears flowing down his face.

Laid on his ex-wife right hand was the marriage ring that Macao gave her. It was her. Macao cried as he closed her body bag and turned away from it. "I'm sorry to see that it was her. We'll update you if we find anything else relating to you. You said you had a daughter? We'll send a search crew to look at the area to see if she's around. Do you have any photo of her?" The officer asked. Macao nodded and reached for his wallet in his pocket, he got out a picture hidden in one pouch and handed it to the officer.

Two smiling faces shone out in the photo. One smiling face belong to his ex-wife and the other his daughter. They had both wore flower crowns and dressed nicely for the photo. The officer frowned once seeing one of the figures in it and said with sadness, "We found this one, clutching a wedding ring in her hand... I'm sorry for your loss." The officer patted Macao's shoulder. "I suggest you go home now... It looks like the storm is going to get worse soon." The officer said before turning and walking away from Macao.

Macao took a last look at the area and turned to walk under the tapes and leaving the area. "Damn it, (Y/N)! You better be safe and hopefully they'll find you. If not, I'll find you myself."

Years after, they couldn't find Macao's daughter and the case ran cold. They had no trace or evidence of her being alive. With that, Macao was depressed and stressed. He went on missions, trying to find his daughter within the area, but couldn't find her either.

His son, Romeo, would be confused on why Macao was leaving a lot. Enno would be outraged of this. She would often scold Macao before he leaves to search. "You're always gone! Don't you know you have family here worried for you?! Don't you know you have a son crying for you every night?!" Enno argued, stomping her foot onto the ground and went in front of the door and blocked Macao from leaving.

"What would you do if you had another child missing?" Macao asked, his voice rising. Enno widened her eyes and looked down. She stayed silent and thought of a way to argue back. "Exactly... I can't just stay here and expect her to come to me. I'm sorry Enno, but I have to go."

After months of searching, he finally gave up. He stayed home and took care of his son, while his wife was buying groceries. "Papa! When you were gone, I met new friends!" Romeo beamed as he met with his father. "Oh yeah? How many?" Macao asked as he hanged clothes outside of the house. "Two!" Romeo smiled.

"One was really mean and the other one was really nice! I don't see the mean one anymore, but I always see the nice one. He's really cool. I want to talk to him, but he's with mom all the time." As Romeo said that, Macao dropped a shirt to the floor and realized what Enno was really doing.

Romeo noticed how Macao suddenly turn angered and asked, "Why are you mad, papa?" Macao sighed and lifted the shirt from the ground and hanged it. "Oh it's nothing, Romeo. Go get packed up, we're going to the guild." Romeo's eyes light up as a smile appeared on his face. "Yay! I get to see Natsu!!"

The woman took off her hoodie as she saw the rain now turning into soft sprinkles and saw how the clouds were departing. The sunset gleamed upon the town as the cool wind breezed through the evening. "I love this weather..." The woman smiled as she felt the wind on his skin. The male next to her placed an arm around her. "I love this weather too and do you know what else I love?"

The woman turned to look at the man with confusion in her eyes. "You." After he said that, he kissed her. The woman giggled in between the kiss and felt her hat flew away from her head. She pulled away from the kiss and turned to get her hat. The wind blew it away as it doesn't want the woman to get it. Her dark purple hair jumped as she ran to receive her hat. It flew down the street and came to a stop due to the wind calming down.

It stopped by a man's leg, making the woman smile. The man bend down to get it and handed it over to the woman. "Thank you so much sir-" As she laid her eyes on the man, she gasped and let go of the hat, now rolling around the floor. "Enno. Divorce. Now." Macao grumbled as a frown was plastered on his face.

He walked away from the shaking girl and turned a corner.

"Thank you Wendy for your help."

Arriving at your destination, you felt anxiety bubble inside of you and felt like running away from Jackal. "I'll watch from afar." You said with nervousness, rubbing your hands together. Jackal looked at you weirdly and shook his head. "Nah, you're coming with me. They don't call it an assist for nothing." Jackal said, pulling your wrist.

"Jackal... I don't think I can do this anymore... Just-Just kill me." You said bluntly, causing Jackal to laugh at your comment. "BWHAHA!!! No." Jackal said, still dragging you.

"Fine, then I'll do it myself." At that point, Jackal stopped walking and turned to look at you. "What the hell is wrong with you?" He asked,frowning his teeth showing. "I've tried to kill myself countless times and here I am. You should cherish your life. Like Damn!" You looked down and replied, "How am I supposed to cherish my life when I'm killing innocent people. I can't do it."

"How bad did they brainwash you?" Jackal asked, rubbing your head causing you to groan in pain. "Look after the mission, I'll help you." Jackal said, smirking at you. "How?" You asked, tilting his head. "Well, there's an action that improves your happiness." Jackal said shrugging. "What in the hell is that supposed to mean?!" You asked, raising your voice.

"You'll see!~"

Sighing, you sat down on an edge of a bridge, looking towards Jackal with a frown and saw him prepare to blow up the target's house. He turned and gave you a thumbs up before he jumped towards the house, spread out his hand and touched the rooftop of the target's house.

Within impact, a large explosion occurred. Debris of what was once a house came your way causing you to use your technique. You watched as debris go through you and felt your head spin as you thought about it. Thinking that the job was done, you look towards your right arm and saw how more dark black streaks were consuming your (Skin tone) skin.

Your attention from your arm was lost as you looked at the house in confusion. Just a moment ago, a large blaze consumed the house and now it was gone. "N-No way! There's no possible way he'd be here! I thought he'd be at the wedding..." You said to yourself, now thinking about a certain salamander. You got up from your spot and hesitated to go with Jackal.

Suddenly, a large heat wave came around you and saw how other buildings were starting to explode as well as the bridge you were standing on. Luckily, you were still using the technique. If not, you'd be injured. "Damn you, Jackal!" You muttered under your breath as you looked around your surroundings.

"YOU SHIT!!!" You heard someone yell with anger and saw Jackal rising from the house. "EXPLODE!!" You heard him yell. Once again, you saw a massive blaze arising from the house and watched it go away as it was being eaten. "Jackal has no use against this guy..." You sigh as you brought your collar cloak upwards, now covering your cheeks.

"WHAT IS THIS GUY?! HE'S... EATING THE EXPLOSION!!!" At the moment, you could care less of what Jackal has to say.

You wore a long sleeve coat-like-cloak covering one side of you since Kyôka wanted the world to know about your right shoulder which was being consumed by dark black streaks. You wear leggings underneath the long cloak and black combat boots. You watched Jackal being punched by the guy known as Natsu Dragneel and watched him fly out of the house.

"Oh, there he goes..." You said, turning to where he landed. You watched him rise from his spot and run back to the house and attempted again to kill the guy. You then remembered how many times Natsu had punched Jackal and felt worried for the guy. Jackal has a curse within him. Whenever you touch him, you explode. Just as you thought about it, a bright light came from the house and watched as it disappeared in sadness and hear the large explosion.

After that happened, a short man with cat-like ears ran past you and saw Jackal run after the man. "Oh shit... They're going to spot me sooner or later..." You sighed, looking down. "GOD DAMN IT, (Y/N)!! IF YOU'RE GOING TO JUST STAND THERE, DO SOMETHIN'!!" You heard Jackal yell as he ran past you. You nodded and created a bright yelled orb from your hands. You then aimed it at Jackal and threw it with strength. It successfully reached Jackal and saw his wounds close and get a little better with his Health.

You ran away from that area as other mages appeared from the house and started to attack Jackal in attempt to make him stop chasing after the man. That's when you heard a certain voice call out to someone. "WENDY!! TAKE CARE OF NATSU!!" You heard the female blonde known as Lucy Heartfillia yell towards Wendy Marvell. "ROMEO!! COME ON!! WE'RE GOING AFTER THAT GUY!!"

You widen your eyes at the name and felt your heart drop. You turn to glance back to see your little half-brother Romeo Conbolt standing beside Lucy. "W-What's he doing here?!" Your thoughts screamed as you ran away from that area, catching up to Jackal. "Crap man! If Jackal does anything to him..." Your priority suddenly change into now protecting your half brother. "Damn! He's the only family I got beside pops..." You whispered, now peeking from a build away.

As you were now watching Jackal roar for no reason, you realized the time you were taking to run there, which was long. "His etherious self!" You gasped in horror. You've only seen Jackal in his Etherious once when he got super angered by Lamy. You watched Jackal got beaten up by Natsu Dragneel and saw how he was defeated by Natsu. Knowing that this was your opportunity, you turned to your heals and was ready to take off.

"Jackal, I'm sorry..." You whispered, furrowing your eyebrows. You were now about to run away when you heard Jackal said, "If I have to die, at least I'll... Take them down with me." Large beams of light surrounded the area, rising from the ground, causing you to gasp in horror. You turned to him once again and saw him point towards your half-brother and placed a ground mine on him.

Was Jackal going to get revenge?

"W-What?!" You heard Romeo squeak. "Oh hells no." You growled. A sudden new emotion came over you. Before, you were in sorrow, wanting to die, but now it was different. Adrenaline, anger, the wanting to protect your brother, And the wanting to live came over you.

"I'M SORRY!!" You yelled loudly, causing all of the mages turn to you. They gasped as they watched you run towards Romeo and saw you as a threat. Wendy attempted to blow you away from Romeo, but it was no use. Your wing sprouted from your cloak and spread your arms wide as you made your way towards Romeo and tackled him.

In an instant, you wrapped your wing around Romeo and placed your chin over his head as you felt the heat of the explosion all around you. It hurt, but it was worth it. The explosion caused you to slide further away from the group and made you gasp for air.

You opened an eye and glanced back to see a large fire erupt from the sky. You saw how the large sphere was now away from the ground and thanked whoever was responsible for it. Seeing that it was Happy who was responsible for it, you felt sadden for the exceed as he had to experience and feel something this extreme.

As you now saw that it was safe, you got onto your knees and unwrapped Romeo from the explosion and saw that he was safe and in shock. "(Y-Y/N)!!" You heard Romeo yell. "You saved me!!" Romeo cried out and wrapped his arms around you.

You were in shocked as well to see that he was hugging you. "When I heard that you were in prison, I couldn't believe it. But now when I saw you, even for a split second. I was scared that you would kill me! But now even after you saved me, I knew that you weren't the demon they said you were!" Romeo said as he cried in your chest.

Your eyes soften at the kid and embraced him. "(Y/N)?" A light voice called out to you behind you, causing you to stop hugging Romeo and turn back to Wendy. "I'm sorry I tried to hurt you. I-I didn't know that you were trying to save Romeo." Wendy bowed as she apologized to you. You gave her a small smile and gestured her to come towards you for a hug.

There, she cried a bit after the intensity of what happened. You hugged both Wendy and Romeo and thought of something. You read their emotions and saw how they were both in distraught. So you closed your eyes and used your healing magic to heal both the children and calm them.

"It finally connected, Thanks god!!" You heard Lucy say during the treatment. "The ones we had broke... We're using one we found in town."

"Lucy?! How's it going?!" You heard an old man's voice reply to Lucy and with that, you assumed that Lucy was talking through a Lacrima. "Mikelo-San is fine. Though, Natsu is seriously wounded. He defeated a member of Tartaros. The town is in a terrible condition..."

"My hair is too."

"And (Y/N) is here..." Lucy said. You heard people gasp from the other side of the Lacrima and heard your father's voice. "Is she a threat?" You opened your eyes and widened them. Once again, sadness consumed you as you wondered why your own dad would say that. But, then again, you were a member of Tartaros, why wouldn't you be a threat.

"No, in fact, she's healing Wendy and Romeo." You heard sighs of relief coming from the Lacrima. "That's good to hear that she's not a threat. Although, question her presence there." You heard the old man once again say to Lucy. "Were you able to get any information from Mikelo?"

"Well..." You glanced back to see Lucy looking at the terrified short, man-like cat. "The white legacy... Face... I don't know anything..." Mikelo looked like he was in the brink of insanity. "Face?"

"Face is one of the weapons the council possesses." Ah, Face. You knew so much about it since that was Tartaros's second main goal. Face is a magic pulse bomb that can annihilate the magic of the whole continent. The only one who knew about the location of it was the ex-chairman. A large older man who you met before you were sent out to your mission to assassinate Sting.

'Once they'll find out,' You thought, 'That the ex-chairman, Crawford Seam, is a traitor and working with Tartaros...' You released the two child that now looked better than before. "Thanks!" Wendy and Romeo thanked you before running towards the Lacrima. You stood up and looked down. '...And once Tartaros will find out that one of their members, (Y/N) Conbolt has betrayed them... All hell will break loose.'

You thought about the future and what could happen. You didn't care about the trouble and decided to risk it. You made up your mind and walked towards Lucy, who held the Lacrima. She turned to you in nervousness and gulped. "That's it... I'm working with y'all!" You said, looking at the Lacrima. You saw a short old man look at you in surprise. "What?" They asked in surprise. "I've never wanted to work for Tartaros. And now you guys are telling me you're at war with them, it makes me happy. I can finally payback for what they've done to me." You admitted, causing them to smile a bit.

"So you're telling me, you're willing to work alongside with Fairy Tail and defeat Tartaros?" You heard a male's voice that wasn't the old mans. "Bullshit." You knew that they wouldn't trust you. "I don't blame you guys then. Like who would trust a demon... But I will tell you guys one thing. If I do anything against you guys, you can kill me." You said, now pointing at your guild mark. "The trick is to pierce right through my guild Mark and I'm dead. So for all the other Tartaros members. It's like a seal or-or a heart for life. Demons have weak-spots too y'know."

The old man did not believe what you were saying. You told them that you were now betraying Tartaros for the act of goodness and revenge. "Alright, (Y/N). Welcome aboard." You were surprised to why he knew his name and that's when you realized. "Makarov?" You asked, now cursing yourself for forgetting about him. "How'd I forget..." Makarov nodded and gave you a small smile. You passed the Lacrima back to Lucy.

You heard Makarov explain how a group was sent to protect the ex-chairmen and that's when you realized that they were about the to be savatage. "Guys-" You turned to see Natsu rise from his spot, seeming to know what you were about to say. "Happy! Let's go!" Natsu shouted, causing Happy to flap out his wings and carried Natsu, and flew off to the sky.

"Where are you guys going?" Lucy screamed. "You're supposed to rest!" Wendy yelled, worriedness in her voice. You then realized what you can do to help and created a yellow orb out of your hands and threw it at the two. From a distance, you can see Natsu and Happy's wounds close.

"What did you do?" Lucy asked, her eyebrows furrowed. You walked over to her and created the same orb and threw it at her, causing her to squeak, thinking she'll feel pain. Instead, it made her sigh in relief. "Oh it's a healing orb." Lucy smiled. After she said that, you began to heal Lucy and the others.

"I wonder what happened to Natsu." Lucy said, remembering what happened moments before. "Hopefully he isn't going to be reckless.." Lucy sighed. "It's a good thing for him to be reckless." You replied to Lucy's comment. "How can you say that so calmly?!" Lucy exclaimed.

"Your friends might be in danger-" You paused before turning to Lucy's Lacrima. "Is that on?" You asked, causing Lucy to shake her head. "No, master told us to meet up at the guild so we can discuss this problem." Lucy explained. 'I guess I can tell them the truth there.'

(3rd P.O.V, Fairy Tail Guild)

(Y/N) smiled as she once again saw her father. "(Y/N)! I'm so glad you're safe. I was worried for you." Macao said as he pulled his daughter into a hug. She was surprised that he was being nice to her even when she's done bad deeds. "D-Dad?" She asked, surprised. "Why are you being nice to me?"

Macao widened his eyes after she said that. "You may be a demon, but in my eyes, you're still my little girl." Feeling tears building in her eyes, (Y/N) smiled and embraced her father in a hug. "Thanks dad..."

"Long time, no see, huh?" A deep voice had said behind (Y/N), making her jump. She turned and smiled at the boy. "Hi Gray! How are ya?" (Y/N) asked, smiling at the ice mage. Behind the ice mage, was a jealous woman also known as Juvia. "Gray-Sama is mine!" She hissed grabbing Gray's right arm.

You chuckled and crossed your arms. "Don't worry, Juvia. I already have a thing for someone and I can tell you, it certainly isn't Gray." Juvia sighed in relief and let go of Gray. "Juvia was afraid that she'll have another love rival. "Anyways, Juvia is happy that you joined our side." Juvia said, giving (Y/N) a kind smile. (Y/N) nodded and turned after feeling a soft pat behind her back.

She turned to see the short gramps that she had remembered when she was smaller. "Gramps!" She yelled in happiness and hugging him. She pulled away from the hug and let him talk. "It's nice to see you again kid. I hope to talk more, but unfortunately we're in the middle of war. Can you please explain to us after I explain what had happened?" Master Makarov asked, making the girl nod.

After hearing the news of Natsu, Happy, Erza, and Mira were missing, some were panicked and some wondered what the hell was going on, except for (Y/N). She thought of what had happened to the 4 and hesitated to tell everyone what had happened to them, but decided not to.

"Tartaros... Is there really nothing to do to get our hands on information about their headquarters?" Makarov asked, making (Y/N) turn to him. That was a ridiculous question since an ex-Tartaros member was standing right next to him. "I-" (Y/N) was about to speak when an injured Happy came flying in screaming, "I FOUND IT!! I KNOW WHERE THEIR HEADQUARTERS IS!!" (Y/N) sighed knowing that they didn't need her help and sat down on a chair, crossed her legs and placed a hand on her chin.

"Do you guys realize you had a source here all along?" Her loud voice rang throughout the guild, making everyone turn to her. They were all focused on work that they had forgotten about (Y/N). Knowing that they were going to question her about Tartaros., (Y/N) pointed to Happy who yelled out the location. "THEIR BASE MOVES AROUND ON THIS WEIRD, SQUARE ISLAND THING..."

As everyone were starting to get to work, (Y/N) rose from her seat and walked over to Makarov. "Hey Makarov, I'll meet up with you guys later. I have still have a job to do back in Sabertooth." Makarov nodded, understanding what she met. "Be careful, child."

(Your P.O.V)

After telling Makarov I'm leaving, I managed to sneak into Sting's kingdom thanks to my shadow magic. I knew that the officials were going to be alert, I placed on a disguise to fool them. I wore a blue wig that had short hair, wore a dress, and concealed my horn and wing.

I used my shadow magic to sneak into the castle and sneaked into the servants ward. I went into the dressing rooms and grabbed a pair of maid uniform. I quickly place it on and I felt the uniform fit too big and cursed silently. The longsleeves were longer and covered my hands, the dress was longer, and the stockings were falling a bit. The only good thing was the longer dress part.

I went to check if there was a smaller size, but stopped as I heard footsteps. "Who's in there?!" A familiar old woman's voice yelled. "It's Patricia!" I called out, hoping that the old woman would buy it. My heart dropped as I saw that it was the head maiden, Betty. "Patricia?! What are you doing here?! You should be cleaning! Out you go!" Betty yelled as she pushed me out of the dressing room.

"Where are the princes and their court?" I asked, hoping to know that they're gone. "They're in Fiore." Betty replied, pushing a broom to you. "Clean the second floor." She said before leaving. "She's still the same..." I sighed before throwing the broom out an open window. I turned a corner and waited a few moments before starting out my plan.

"BETTY!!" I screamed in horror as I turned the corner again, making her jump from cleaning a vase. "THERE WAS URGENT NEWS FROM THE PRINCES THAT WE NEED TO FLEE TO FIORE BEFORE THIS KINGDOM IS PERISHED!! TARTAROS IS BEHIND ALL OF THIS!!" I screamed, causing Betty to panick.

"R-Really?! We must warn everyone now!!" Betty yelled and went to the tell the guards the information. I watched her leave and smiled in victory. "Well, that escalated quickly." I grinned. I knew Tartaros would bomb this place due to both of the princes staying here and their magic energy is strong. Most likely it would Jackal coming for revenge or something like that after I abandoned him.

I went back to my old room and found that it was the same shape as I left. I turned my attention to the counter next to the bed and smiled. My necklace was still there. I grabbed it and placed it around my neck. Little did I know that there was heavy footsteps making its way over to me.

I went to my wardrobe and checked what I still wanted. "My kimono!" I gasped, picking it up. I placed it into a backpack I had and packed the stuff I wanted in a fast pace. I finished and threw the backpack around me. I took one final look of my room and started to walk out my room when I bumped into the soft wall. "Ow..." I suddenly felt two strong hands on my shoulder and realized I didn't bump into the wall. I look up to see a familiar red mask along with hat.

"Who are you? I don't recall you being one of the maids." Rufus said, his eyes staring down at you. "Is everyone gone?" I asked. "Yes and don't avoid my question." Rufus replied with anger . I pushed him away from me and took off my wig, showing off my features and my (Hair Length), (Hair Color) hair.

Rufus's eyes widened and saw that it was me. "(Y/N)!" He placed his arms around me and hugged me. "I thought you were dead." He said between the hug. "I'm glad you're safe, but can you please tell me what you did?! Sting send me over here an hour ago, saying that there was panic in the kingdom and now everyone that used to live here is now in Fiore." My eyes widened due to the fact you were here for an hour. I signed and pulled away from the hug.

"I'm an ex-member of Tartaros and I know their plans. This kingdom was part of it. Now I suggest we leave before we get caught in between it." I replied, going out of the room. Rufus followed me out and walked down the stairs. "Fairy Tail is already doing a counter attack in Tartaros, I believe, so..." I heard Rufus stop speaking and saw him go faint.

I wondered why he stopped until I heard faint 'booms'. "He's here..." I sighed, frowning. "Who?" Rufus asked. "Jackal from Tartaros. He's here to destroy this kingdom for revenge." I explained, gesturing to hide and kneel down.

"I'll confuse him for a wh-" Rufus said, rising up to his feet only to be pulled back down by me. "No! You stay here. You're about to watch a show..." I grinned.

"Fear me, citizens of Light and Shadow!! For I am the one that's going to drag you down to hell!!" Jackal laughed, touching every building in his sights. In his eyes, buildings were exploding, people were being killed by his hands, and the scene turn apocalyptic. "Everything's coming up explody!" Jackal chuckled, making his way around the kingdom and inside the castle.

"Alright, Rufus, I need you not to make a single move, breath, or anything once he enters the room. I'll explain briefly after, okay?" I told Rufus, making him nod, understanding the plan. As in cue, Jackal made his way inside the hallway we were in and happened to stop in front of my room. He broke down the door and entered the room, making me wonder why would he want to be in there.

"It reeks of her so much, I love it." Jackal commented from inside the room. I was so still that I couldn't see what he was doing in the room, but Rufus can. I looked towards him and saw Rufus making a face of confusion towards Jackal. "(Y/N)! I didn't know you were under the sheets! Were you hiding from me?!" Jackal exclaimed.

I glared at Rufus, seeing that he was looking at my direction. He seemed to know what I meant and made a straight face. "You know... I can let you go if you pleasure me!" Jackal cooed, causing my eyes to widen. That sick fuck! No wonder he's too close! "No?! NO?! WELL DON'T YOU JUST BLOW UP THEN ALONG WITH THAT FUCKING BLONDE AND EMO GUY!!!" A loud noise of an explosion was heard from the room along with smoke coming out of it. "Alright..." Jackal walked out of the room.

"I think my work here is done." Jackal said as he cracked his knuckles and flew out of the castle by an open window. I made sure he was gone by tracking his scent and finally gasped, breathing for air. "Hey Rufus, you can-" I stopped my sentence once I laid eyes on him, seeing that he was passed out. "Rufus!" I panicked, crawling over to him.

I used my healing magic to help the poor guy and managed to make him conscious again. He opened his eyes and stared at me. "If I recall, we were hiding from a demon...?" He asked, sitting up. I moved back, standing up, and gasped in relief.

"Thank goodness you're okay, Rufus. I'm sorry for having you to hold your breath for that long..." I looked down, sadden that Rufus almost kinda died. "It's alright. You did what you thought was right and I trust you, (Y/N)." Rufus smiled. I smiled back and fist bumped him.

After that, we decided to go check out what Jackal did and saw the mass destruction he did. "Imagine all of the money we have to pay for this..." Rufus whined. He then gasped and shrieked. "The people! Is everyone dead?!" A wave of panic washed over him. He turned to see a citizen twitching and ran to its aid. "Come on! Let go get some-" As Rufus touched the man's shoulder, a large mirror appeared and covered the man. It broke in front of Rufus, causing him to be confused.

"You didn't let me explain." I smirked, snapping my hands. Rufus jumped from hearing a large crashing noise and saw glass breaking then disappearing. "What...?" His eyes was fascinated by everything he looked at. What was once destroyed was now the same as before. He saw how nothing was broken, no one was dead, and that everyone and everything was safe. "How did you?"

"What Jackal saw was reality, but, it was only an illusion. That's illusion magic at its best." I smirked. "You're the most craziest, powerful, and amazing woman I have ever met." Rufus gasped at my work and sighed. "You're a pretty good friend too." I smiled at that and nodded. "Thank you."

"Now..." I unconcealed my wing and horn. I saw Rufus staring at me and gave me a thumbs up. "Shall we go kick some demon butts?" I asked, opening my hand towards him. Rufus smirked and took my hand. "We shall."

Sorry the delay. I was being a productive scholar and studied for my finals 2 weeks prior to it. I hope you like this update and it probably wasn't that interesting... Sorry. The next chapter... Well, lots of action. Probably even the last. Maybe not. I think there is still 3 chapters remaining
