Chapter 11|Great Escape

Your P.O.V

Crunch

I sat up in alarm and instantly grabbed the handle of my katana. I turned to Sting and Yukino, who were too focused on their conversation. I got a bit angered, knowing that they were too busy to notice me. Now, that wasn't my concern.

I moved my hair behind my ears and heard heavy footsteps coming my way. In a quick move, I jumped from my seat, causing the chair to fall off the balcony and clashed swords with the angered black haired male in front of me. From the corner of my eye, I could see the shocked look on the princess and prince. "Drop your sword now, demon!" The male snarled, his grip on the sword hardened.

I felt my stomach drop of the word, "Demon." At this point, I knew what he was here for. Instead, I didn't listened and continued to clash swords with him. Yukino and Sting rose from their seats and looked at the man in surprise. Yukino gasped and buried her face into her hands. Sting was starting to turn red from anger.

"Doranbolt! What are you doing?!" Sting yelled, his hands into fists. "She is not who she say she is!" Doranbolt yelled back, his grip the same. "She's not human! She's a demon!" Right when he said that, something in Sting snapped. "Not human? She protected my life for the past year! Hell, if it weren't for her, I wouldn't even be here standing here now! Demon or not, she's still my friend!" Sting growled at the man, running towards him and yanking the sword away from him, taking a bite then eating it.

I looked at Sting with a soft smile and felt my heart jump at what he said. It felt warm and loving. "Thanks Sting," Just as I whispered that, Sting glanced at me and gave me his famous smirk. It was the smirk that made my heart jump whenever I saw it.

Doranbolt looked at him in surprised and furrowed his eyebrows. "Well, your friend here, is friends with demons who caused the destruction of the magic council. All of my comrades lives were taken because of her friends. I hope you know that." Doranbolt snarled, causing Sting to growl.

Sting gritted his teeth and yelled, "STOP MAKING HER LOOK BAD!! I KNOW DAMN WELL SHE'S NOT FRIENDS WITH DEMONS!" I looked down and saw how Sting was making a fool of himself since Doranbolt was telling the truth. And yet he didn't know it.

"If you want proof, I'll show it to you." Doranbolt said as he walked close to me and lifted a dagger he had extra. "Yukino! Stop him!" Sting yelled, pointing at him.

Yukino looked down and said nothing. "Yukino!" Sting yelled, his attention now fully on Yukino. "Yukino, you know the directions." Doranbolt said, causing Yukino to nod. "Y-Yes..." She stuttered. I turned to Yukino and looked at her in confusion. Sting widens his eyes and yelled, "Yukino! What are you-" Just as he was yelling, I felt a pressure coming from my right shoulder.

I realized that I wasn't paying attention to that 'Doranbolt' guy and felt him pierce his sword into my shoulder deeper. My widened eyes meet his narrowed angered ones. "Now..." His voice said in a darker tone. "Let's see what you're hiding." In a quick move, he cut off bits of my turtleneck and my sleeves. His smirk on his face proved what he was looking for.

The stab wound I had on my shoulder was directly where my guild mark was. I hissed in pain as he touched the Guild Mark. I widened my eyes at what he had done. I jumped back, clutching my shoulder and mentally cursed. 'This is my trigger Mark! Adam stabbed into it and now he did. Now the demon is going to come twice as fast...'

'If you're ever in a situation that you cannot leave, if so, desperate times cause for desperate measures, trigger your Tartaros mark and your inner demon will show,' I recalled the moment Mard told me of my inner demon back when I was a child. At first I didn't know what he meant, but that was because I was a child, and now, I know exactly what he meant. My Tartaros Mark was shining brightly that I could see the light with my eyes closed.

"Now then, open your eyes."

I opened my eyes and felt a stinging pain coming from my head, a pressure coming from my back, and my whole body felt like I was melting. I wanted the burning sensation to stop and grunted in pain. I looked down to my hands and noticed that I didn't have hands anymore. Instead, were claws. I gasped in horror as I stared at my hands and almost fell to my knees, feeling lightheaded.

I brought my hands up to head and felt something hard and bumpy. I clutched the unknown thing on my head and tugged on it only to feel pain. "Oh crap..." I said between heavy breaths. I then turned to make eye contact with horrified blue eyes and realized what just happened.

Doranbolt noticed how I had gloves on and yanked it off me. "You-" His eyes widens as he saw the dark black streaks all over my hands and arms. "What are you?" He asked.

I wanted this to stop and clutched onto my mark as hard as I can. I wanted to reply, but couldn't find anything to say back. "I-I'm not even sure myself..." Doranbolt looked terrified of what I have become and stuttered, "H-Horns... Claws... Black strings... You're nothing more than a demon... A monster of the underworld..."

I shook my head, not believing what he said. I then looked back down the balcony and saw how it wasn't a long fall, so I went for it. "I'm.. Not a demon." I said before jumping off of the balcony, ready to land a safe fall. "NO!!!" I did not want to accept the fate that was happening to me.

(2nd P.O.V)

As you left, Sting fell to his knees and tried to process what has happened. This was one hell of a year for him. His mother being gruesomely murdered by an unknown force, His father disappearing out of sight, and his closest friend turns out to be a demon.

"Why is this happening to me?" He whispered as he felt the soft tears roll down his face. Yukino's eyes soften and walked over to Sting and placed a hand on his back. "Don't touch me." He said with venom. Yukino jumped at his sudden anger and stepped back. "Sting-kun-"

"No. Just stop." Sting sniffed as he stood up and wiped his tears away. "Don't you understand what's going right now? I see that you're trying to comfort me, but things aren't going well. I'm sorry." Sting said as he stormed off of the balcony.

"He's going to try-" Yukino looked down the balcony. "And save her. I know." Doranbolt said, before walking to the exit of the balcony. "I'll be off now. We have a demon in our hands." He said before he ran off to chase after the distressed Prince.

Just as he exited, Yukino sat down and drank bits of her tea. "They're gone right?" a stern female voice called from behind. "Yes." Yukino replied. Just then, a tall female walked from behind a closet and stretched. "I can't believe she didn't smell my scent." The female said, puffing out her blonde hair.

"She's not a dog." Yukino said as she sipped her tea. The blonde glared at her with her icy blue eyes and said, "If I can catch scents, she can too." Yukino rolls her eyes and stared at the city down below.

"Now what, Amanda." A long pause was set between them before the blonde girl said back, "We wait."

(Your P.O.V)

"CRAP!!" I yelled as I jumped down the balcony and fell onto the bushes that stood in the garden. I tried my best to jump out of there, but a branch pierced into my leg.

I hissed in pain as I took it out and healed myself. I breathe heavily, thinking what just happened. I have to know what to do before going somewhere.

Tartaros means instant death. The city means Doranbolt. Everything is instant death! What the hell?L

I walked away from that area with anger and tried to think of what would happen. "STOP!" A hell was heard behind me, causing my thoughts to fade away.

I glanced back and saw Doranbolt running towards me at full speed. "Oh I forgot about you." I said before running away from that man.

"Why are you running?! There are guards surrounding the castle! You have no way out!" Doranbolt said, sprinting after me.

My smirk turned into a gasp when I felt pain coming from my back. I fell to my knees and gasped for air as I felt something piercing my back.

I thought he had thrown a spear or something. But I was wrong. I turned to look at my back to see why I was having pain and opened my mouth in surprise.

A large wing sprouted in my lower right side of my back. I once again gasp at the sight and tried to move it. It twitched and to my surprise, started to hover.

Doranbolt watched from the back in awe and was in deep shock. "How is this possible?" He whispered. He took a step back and watched me get up.

I stood up and turned around with my bloodied shoulder due to the stab he did and pointed at it.

"Thanks to you, stabbing into my mark, it makes me turn into a demon faster so thanks a lot." I said before hovering from the ground and attempting to fly away.

"HEY!!" A loud, deep familiar voice yelled out to me as I was hovering. It turned and made eye contact to the one and only, Sting Eucliffe. "(Y/N)!!!"

"STOP!!" He yelled very loudly, causing my full attention to go at him. "What?" I asked, causing him to growl. From his expression, I've noticed the dry tears on his face and the anger that is now consuming him.

"What? What do you mean what?! For the past few months, you were a demon?! An monster dangerous for mankind?! And-"

My eyes soften as he mentioned the word monster and felt pain inside emotionally. "-What's your point then? And to think I finally had a friend that accepted who I am..." I cut him off, sighing. "Anyways, Are you just going to complain to me about life, because, if, so, I don't have time to talk." I said before hovering again. "Oh, and one thing, don't come after me."

Finally, I flew away and tried to escape the area as soon as possible. I didn't get to see the look on Sting's face, but I did hear his curses. I flew over the large Barrie's of the castle and looked down. There, I saw terrified guards running around the place.

"WHAT IS THAT?!

"THERE SHE IS!!"

"BLOODY HELL!!"

"A DEMON!!"

"KILL IT!!"

I wanted to laugh at their reaction, but I was in a extreme situation. "SHOOT IT!!" I heard them yell. I flew down quickly before they can shoot at me. I tried to hover again, but my wing was already overwhelmed since its new. "F***..." I cursed and grabbed my katana. I deflected all of the incoming bullets at me and tried to dodge to their attacks.

"(Y/N)!! Watch out!!!" I heard Sting yell out to me. I turn to his direction and saw his scared expression. He tried to reach out to me, but guards already saw him and pushed him back. "Sting?" Right at that moment, I felt something hard clash against my head and suddenly, slipped into deep darkness. The voice of someone calling has, changed into ringing into my ears. It had seemed like time has stopped.

(Sting, Third P.O.V)

Sting watched as (Y/N) flew away and regretted what he yelled. "Damn it!" Sting cursed, attempting to run again. "Do you know what you have caused?" Doranbolt said darkly. "You let her go easily! We almost had her!"

"You guys treating her like a damn animal." Sting replied. "Says the one who called her a monster." Doranbolt remarked, turning to Sting. Sting looked down and asked, "If she were to be captured, what would happen to her?"

"Possibly a death penalty." Doranbolt replied before turning around and started to run at a full speed, following to where (Y/N) went. "Shit... (Y/N)... Take care of yourself." Sting said before following after Doranbolt.

Sting raced to the front of the castle and into the streets where he found (Y/N) deflecting bullets from her katana. Sting smiled a bit, watching (Y/N)defend herself. Back in the good old times, He would watch her train and saw that she would be more advanced when it comes to combat skills. He would remember saying nice things to her and congratulated her.

Sting looked around for Doranbolt and saw that he teleported right behind (Y/N). Doranbolt grabbed a guard's assault rifle and rose it. "(Y/N)!!! Watch out!!!" Sting yelled, reaching out for her. The guards attention turned to Sting and pushed him back away from her. "(Y/N)!!!"

She turned to him and gave him a small smile. "Sting?" Right at that moment, Doranbolt slammed the barrel of the gun into her head, cashing her to pass out. "No..." Sting mumbled. He gasped, seeing her fall to the ground. He had regretted everything that he had said to her moments before. He regretted getting angered at her.

"Let's go, Prince." One of the guards said, dragging him inside the castle. He glanced one more time at his once maiden before entering the castle. As he went inside, another guard bowed to him and said, "Your highness, your presence is needed at a meeting."

-

"Alright, what is his about?" Sting asked as he was seated in a large table surrounded by authorities. "We are here to ask you for information of your once maiden." They asked, note book in hands.

Sting sighed and nodded, feeling uncomfortable. "Did she represent anything unusual?"

"Is being emotionless unusual?"

"Did she show any ties to Tartaros while in your service?"

"No. I did not know that she was even tied to it and... she did a good job hiding it."

"How close was she to you."

"More than a friend."

"Oh... Do you happen to know her weaknesses?"

"Well... she always kept things to herself."

"Do you know the magic she possesses?"

"Just memory make and light shadow."

"Are you sure?"

"Well, yeah, unless she has more up her sleeve."

"Alright, I think that's what we have to ask."

"Wait, I do have a question myself." Sting stopped them.

They looked at each other and nodded. "What is it?"

"How was she exposed to be a demon. Who knew?"

They hesitated to answer, but continued, "The prince of what was the 9th element kingdom had told Doranbolt in his prison cell. He had ties of information of Tartaros and told us only a few things. She was one of them."

Sting looked down and shook his head. He had suspected Erik to know a few things or so, but Tartaros?! That's crazy.

"Oh! We almost forgot!" The authorities had said, causing Sting to sit back down in his spot. "Do you possibly know if the maiden had ties to the king's disappearance of the 5-element kingdoms?"

Sting's eyes widen as he heard that. "What do you mean 'disappearance'?" Sting asked, concerned. "All 5 kings of the element kingdom had disappeared out of sight. No trace."

"Don't joke around now..." Sting said as he began to nervously laugh. "This isn't a joke, dear prince." As they said that, Sting's heart drop. "S-So when did they vanish?"

"This week day, last week."

"That's funny, because my father disappeared as well..." Sting said, before feeling deeply sadden.

"How come this was not reported?!"

"We did reported." They gasped and went to check in their paperwork and saw that Sting was right.

"Apologies, we didn't include his disappearance."

"What is the current status of the other kingdoms?" Sting asked, concerned. They looked at Sting in confusion and asked, "Do you not know what's going on right now? There are concerns for safety on every kingdom."

"Natsu Dragneel, Laxus Dreyar, Wendy Marvell, and Gajeel Redfox, are in high alert. They're protecting their kingdoms."

"We do not know the current status of Rogue Cheney." They paused. "We fully suggest that you group up with them." They looked over their paperwork and furrowed their eyebrows. "Don't you have a wedding coming up?"

"N-No."

"It says mandatory."

"Well I call it off."

"But sir-"

"Don't you know the destruction that is going on right now? We're not in a safe position to have a celebration!" Sting yelled, causing them to jump in their seats.

They read over their paperwork and one had said,

"Well, Sting Eucliffe, the king of Fiore has authority of when the wedding will happen and it says July 25th is the date of the wedding."

"What the hell?! That's tomorrow!! I don't have time!!"

"Well I suggest that you get going." A deep voice was heard behind Sting. Sting turned and saw the king of Fiore standing before him. "But sir-"

"That's father-in-law to you. I will assist you into buying a tuxedo for tomorrow. Come on now." The king said, pulling him up from his seat.

Sting did not want to go with him, instead he wanted to help his dear friend, (Y/N) Conbolt.

-

(You, 1st P.O.V)

I opened my eyes to see that I was strapped up in a barely lit room with a small window on the other side of the room. I slipped out of the deep darkness and tried to move around. I looked outside of the window and saw that the sun was going down.

Before, it was twelve in the afternoon when I had accompany Sting. I wondered how he was doing now that I let him behind. I felt bad and ashamed leaving him.

He taught me many things. He made me more open and social. I was never afraid to show him my weak spots and mistakes I had done. He make me smile and laugh and somehow, made my heart flutter.

Whatever that means.

I sighed, now paying attention to the loud footsteps coming from outside my prison cell. I looked up to see three men opening my prison cell with a tray of food. "We're just here to ask you a few questions..."

I looked at their hearts and saw the red glow reflecting off of it. I knew that this conversation was not going to be nice.

-

"I think that one looks nice on you," Toma said, smiling at the blonde man in front of him. Toma had took Sting to an dress shop and was now trying on a tuxedo. Sting nodded, feeling dazed from what happened earlier.

Toma saw his reaction and sighed. "Don't worry too much Sting. I'm sure tomorrow will be a great day for you." Sting nodded and turned to Toma. "I like this one." The owner of the shop came over to Sting's area and smiled at his choice. "Perfect!"

As they were paying, the owner had recognized Sting from before and asked, "Are you getting married to that woman you had brought before?" Toma looked at Sting instantly with questioning eyes. Sting blushed red and shook his head. "N-No! I had told you before that she was just my personal assistant!"

"Oh! Apologizes!" The owner said, nodding. Toma narrowed his eyes as he had watched Sting's blush go from zero to a hundred real quick. "Ah! So you're getting married to Princess Yukino A. Fiore!" The shop owner exclaimed. "Yeah. That's right." Toma watched his blush go away and was expecting him to at least stutter.

Did he not have any love interest for his daughter?

Sting had received the package of his tuxedo and walked out of the shop with Toma and a few guards. He turned to Toma and asked, "What time is the church and ceremony?"

"Church is at 11, so you'll have to wake up extra early and have a good rest. The ceremony will be shortly after the church." Toma relied, thinking of all the possibilities that would happen the next day. They had entered a carriage that would take them to the castle of Fiore. The ride was quiet and short.

After arriving, guards ran up to the king in a hurry. "K-King! We successfully captured a demon of Tartaros and now being question. Your presence is needed." The king nodded and stepped out of the carriage. "Very well then. Sting, I'm going to leave you for now. I expect you to get some rest and to be in a safe place."

Sting nodded and watched the king walk away. He then sighed and groaned, carrying the package in his arms. He entered the castle and walked up to his assigned room. He entered it and was greeted by his friend, Lector.

"Sting-Kun!" Lector cheered. He jumped from the bed and walked around Sting, looking for a certain person. His eyebrows furrowed as he couldn't see the person he was looking for. "Sting, Where's (Y/N)?" Sting's eyes widens a bit as he said that and gestured Lector to sit on the bed.

"You see, Lector. (Y/N) is not going to be around anymore. She's gone now." Sting said, looking at Lector. "W-What?" Lector stuttered. "No Way! She was like my best friend!" Tears were starting to flood Lector's eyes and felt sad for his old friend.

"W-What happened?" Lector asked, his paws rubbing his eyes. "Supposedly, she was in a dark guild named Tartaros." Sting explained. "So you're saying that she's a demon?" Lector asked, shaking. Sting nodded, causing Lector to growl. "I don't care if she's a demon or not! She's still my friend!" Lector yelled, clutching his paw.

Sting chuckled at what Lector did. "Tell me why I also said that." Lector turned to Sting in a fast motion and asked, "You were there?! I thought you got info on that or something..." Sting ran his fingers through his hair. "Yukino, (Y/N), and I were just sitting down in the balcony. We were talking about the wedding that was going to happen the next day when-"

"-Wait. When you mean We, do you mean just you and YUkino? Because, knowing (Y/n), she wouldn't be discussing those kinds of things." Lector interupted. "Yeah, whatever. Anyways, Doranbolt came in and started to expose (Y/N). He got the information from Erik. Who knew he was that dangerous." Sting said, causing Lector to tug on his shoulder.

"Can we go get (Y/N) back?" Lector asked. Sting was hesitant to reply since Lector had delicate feelings. "It's not that easy. We can try and get through, but getting her out... I doubt it. Sorry Lector." Lector looked down and gave out a depressed sigh. "If only I could save her..."

-

"Ah..." (Y/N) hissed in pain as they threw her against the wall. She was tied up with her hands behind her back and legs tied together. She barely had energy to stand or to even move at all. She received several blows to the head, causing blood to leak from her nose.

She coughed and in result, even more blood. She hasn't felt overwhelming pain in a while and is starting to feel like that of a normal human. She could feel new bruises on her skin and cuts opening wider. As that was happening, she was starting to feel numb from the waist below. 'I wonder if this is how I'm going to die...' She closed her exhausted eyes and tried to go into slumber to let the suffering stop.

All of this had reminded her of what Kyôya did to her when she was way more younger. The nightmares and fear before was now rushing back to her.

"WAKE UP!!!" They yelled, slapping the girl awake. The girl shook awake and trembled. She was now feeling even colder than before. "What is Tartaros main goal?!" They yelled, grabbing her by the collar and put a dagger on her neck. "Tell us or we'll cut your throat off!!" They threatened.

(Y/N) leaned back to avoid the knife against her neck and gulped. She looked up to them with bloodshot eyes and shook her head. "I-I'm... Afraid I can... Not." They growled and slashed her arm. She screamed in pain and tried to touch her arm, but realized that she was tied up. "WHY THE HELL NOT?!"

"Because if I do, Tartaros will come and kill you and I." As she said that, they flinched at the thought. "Where are Tartaros's location?!

"Why did you join?"

"Who are the members."

"What are they capable of."

"Do you still kill for a living?"

Now that question, (Y/N) wanted to answer. "After assisting Sting in many events, I found myself befriending the prince and started to learn the true meaning of being human." They looked at each other and then turned their attention back to (Y/N). They dropped her onto the floor so they can listen to what she has to say.

"I used to be a cold, expressionless, rude woman. That was all because I was abused countless times as a child... And that's a different story... Now that has all changed after I met Sting. He taught me how to be open and friendly." She paused before giving a small chuckle. "And King Weisslogia... At first I didn't care about him at all, but later, he ended up saving my life. The everlasting feeling of fear washed away and came in rushing joy." She gave them a small smile and stopped.

They watched anymore movements of the girl and shook her awake once again. "Why are you committing so much crimes?" They asked. The girl opened her mouth to speak, but closed it due the prison cell opening. She looked last them and saw a familiar face. A scar faced man. Doranbolt.

"How's it go-" He stopped midway his sentence as his eyes traveled over to (Y/N). His eyes widened as he saw the extremely injured woman. He looked over them for explanation and saw how bloodied their hands were, the dagger in one of their hands, and the shocked expressions on their faces. Doranbolt furrowed his eyebrows and yelled, "I SIMPLY ASKED YOU TO ASK QUESTIONS!! NOT TO TORTUE AND HARM HER!!!"

They squealed in terror and stepped back from the once maiden and ran out of the room. Doranbolt stepped out of the room and yelled again, "AND NEXT TIME, IF I SEE YOU BACK HERE AGAIN, I'LL BE SURE TO GET YOU ALL FIRED!!" Doranbolt sighed before turning his attention back to the girl. He crouched down and looked at her. "Are you alright?" He asked. "Does it look like I'm alright?"

"You're right. Dumb question." Doranbolt said before standing up. "I'll be right back. Just stay still for a moment." He left the room to go get a medic. Now, the room stayed silent. She finally had a peaceful moment and closed her eyes. She was so exhausted and stressed that her magic energy had stopped building up inside of her.

"Heal her quickly! She is in critical health!" Doranbolt said as the rushed the medic into the prison cell. The medic gasped as she saw the bloodied girl on the floor. She quickly ran towards the girl and checked for a pulse. She felt the girl's heart slowly beating and carried her up and out of the cell.

"Any while longer and she's dead."

She was carried to the prison infirmary where she was placed into an emergency surgery. The doctors were able to heal all of her cuts and bruises, but was covered in bandages all over. After the surgery, Doranbolt carried her to a room and left her to rest.

-

Flickering her eyes open, (Y/N) looked around the room and wondered where she was. She say up and rubbed her eyes. She noticed a small window by the roof and climbed on her bed to see how was it like outside. She looked out so see that it was still dark. She sighed and slumped back onto the bed.

She noticed the wrapped bandages around her and wondered how she got it. She tried to remember how she got it, but no luck. "Good morning." A male voice was heard across the room. (Y/N) turned to that direction and there she was met face to face with Doranbolt.

"Hi..." (Y/N) said dazed. "Doranbolt." As she said that, all of her memories came flooding back in and remembered why she was here. "So, how's Sting?" She asked. Doranbolt rose an eyebrow and asked, "Who's Sting?" (Y/N) scoffed and rolled your eyes. "You should know. Stop playing around." Doranbolt shook his head at her saying. "I don't know who that is..."

"Stop it. You're scaring me..." (Y/N) said, sitting up. "Maybe you had a nightmare or something." Doranbolt said, crossing his arms. He then brought a chair next to her and looked at her. "How was your dream like?" He asked. "That's weird then. My dream must've felt really... Really realistic. I was an demon assassin I guess..."

"Are you sure it was a dream?" Doranbolt nodded. "I know for sure that your not a demon. You work with me in the magic council. Remember?" Memories of him and her were now flooding over the nightmare. "Ah, yes."

"So you were saying...?" Doranbolt asked. He seemed eager to know what her dream was. "Well, this was a really long dream. As a child, my father left my mother and I. As that happened, my mom was killed by a group of demons. They then found me and took me in because of my magic. I didn't want to join, but I was forced. I was tortured endlessly until I had become emotionless and cold. After that, I was assign missions to do work for people who didn't want to get their hands dirty. I was assign to assassinate a precious Prince, but after I got to know him. I felt a strange feeling coming from him. I held lots of fear before, but after I met him, joy started to go into me."

"Wow. That's fascinating. Did you... Bring yourself to assassinate him?" Doranbolt asked. (Y/N) shook her head. "His father had taught me peace and harmony. He taught me how to meditate. My personality quickly changed after that. I could not bring myself to do it. I didn't want to kill him. Then I was exposed and killed." (Y/N) explained to Doranbilt about her dream. "I see..." Doranbolt said before grabbing a glass of water and handing it to her.

"Here. I brought you some water." (Y/N)grabbed the glass and thanked him. After drinking it, (Y/N) felt dizzy and saw the room twisting and turning. "What even..." She said before falling asleep again. Doranbolt pulled the blanket over her and left the room with juicy information. He had just fooled (Y/N) Conbolt into believing that he was a longtime friend of hers.

He had just controlled her memories.

As Doranbolt walked down the hall, he bumped into the one and only Sting Eucliffe. "Sting? What are yo-" Sting placed a hand over Doranbolt's mouth and shushed him. "Shh! I'm not supposed to be here!" Sting whispered loudly. Doranbolt threw Sting's hand away from his mouth.

"It's early in the morning! Why the hell are you here?! Don't you have a wedding today?!" Doranbolt asked. Sting nodded and sighed. "I couldn't sleep. I was worried for her all night long and Lector here was worried for her too." Sting said, pointing to his back where he had a backpack with the sleeping exceed in it, wrapped in blankets.

Doranbolt frowned and glanced back. "She was worried for you too. She woke up earlier asking for you." Doranbolt said, recalling. Sting's face lightened up at his words and asked, "And what did you tell her?" Doranbolt smirked and waited to see his reaction.

"That you didn't exist." Sting's smiled changed into a shock expression. "What?!" He yelled, causing Lector to wake up. "I thought you were supposed to be quiet." Doranbolt said, crossing his arms. Sting remembered and placed a hand over his mouth. Doranbolt chuckled at his actions and gestured Sting to follow him.

He led Sting to (Y/N)'s cell like room. He opened it and Sting rushed in, eager to see her. In the room, he saw her resting. He smiled to himself and got Lector from his backpack and placed him onto the bed. Lector gasped and smiled, sitting next to (Y/N). Lector's smile instantly faded as he saw the many bandages she had.

Lector turned to Doranbolt and asked, "What happened to her?" Sting didn't noticed the bandages until Lector had pointed it out. Sting, also, turned to Doranbolt for answers. "Well, you see, we had an incident with three guards yesterday who weren't doing their jobs right. I simply asked them to feed her and ask questions. When I came to check on them, they were tortureing her brutally. I stopped them and took her to the medic."

"Damn bastards... So she's okay now?" Sting asked, worriedly. Doranbolt nodded. "Good." Lector said, smiling. Sting went to her bedside and placed his hand on her forehead. As he did that, a white spark flew from his hand and flinched back. "Ow! What the hell?!" Sting yelled in confusion. It happened so suddenly it scared him. The spark flew across the room and struck the sleeping girl.

Waiting to see a reaction, (Y/N) just smiled in her sleep and she turned. "What did you do?" Doranbolt asked, looking at Sting. "I don't know." Sting replied, watching (Y/N). A few moments passed and with that, Doranbolt decided to speak up. "I fooled her earlier." Doranbolt said. "What do you mean?"

"I gave her fake memories. She told me everything that had happened to her. It's shocking to learn what happened to her." Doranbolt said, sighing. "Care to explain to me?" Sting asked, glancing at Doranbolt. "She was supposed to assassinate you." Doranbolt said, causing Sting and Lector to gasp. "W-What?"

"She couldn't bring herself to do it as she had a new feeling inside her. It was telling her to stop." Doranbolt explained. "I think... I think she's interested in you, Sting." Sting shook his head. "In a friend like mode." Doranbolt shook his head at Sting's reply. "I think she was in love with you. She said that you had taught her how to be joyful and to be more social." Sting blushed and sat at the edge of her bed.

Doranbolt was surprised by how openly Sting was showing his affection for her. He watched as he sat on the edge of the bed, as he brushed stands of her hair our of her face. He was so focused on you, he didn't noticed the time change from outside. Doranbolt placed an hand on Sting's shoulder, causing him to jump. "If you have interest for her as well, then why are you marrying Yukino?"

"I'm doing it for my kingdom." Sting said bluntly. Lector glanced at Sting and felt sadden what Sting said. "And What are you going to do when Yukino realizes that you don't love her?" Doranbolt asked, causing Sting to tense up. Sting couldn't find an answer to reply back and said nothing. "I suggest you get going before they'll start to know that your gone." Doranbolt said, patting Sting's back.

Sting nodded and rose from his seat. He grabbed his backpack and placed Lector into it. He swung it around his back and was headed out the door. Sting stopped, glancing back at (Y/N) before taking his leave. Doranbolt, too, headed out the door and locked the room up.

DING

A loud clash woke (Y/N) up and sighed in annoyance. She got up from her bed and looked out the window. She saw that it was morning and daylight made it in through her window. She looked outside to see lots of people walking around and dressed in a fancy manner.

"What is going on?" She asked, wondering what in the world was happening. Then it had hit her. Sting's and Yukino's wedding celebration was today. She gave out a sadden sighed, knowing that she could not be by his side anymore. Her fate was already chosen and she could do anything about it.

She had the thought of escaping, but brushed it away due to the room, sucking out all of her magic. Speaking of magic, she turned to look at her back to see if her wing was still there, and to her surprise, it was not. She barely knew how to use her Etherious form.

She then noticed that she wa not wearing her maid uniform anymore, but a long, tank white dress. It reached just below her knees. She moved the tank of the dress to she her Tartaros guild mark and saw that her mark was covered up with bandages. She ripped parts of the bandage off and saw how her Tartaros Mark glowing yellow.

"Why the hell is this glowing?" She asked to herself in confusion. She poked it and remembered what "Adam" and Doranbolt did to it. She looked at her right hand and saw the dark black streaks continuing to grow. "What has become of me...?" She asked desperately.

She heard the ruckus coming from outside of the window and turn her attention back to it. She looked to see many people dressed in fancy dresses, tuxedo, and many other attires. The streets were packed and people in carriages could barely make it through.

She could tell that they were being loud due to the loud muffled voices coming from outside the window. She watched as the crowd began to disappear Lowe and lower. The streets was literally empty and no sound, but birds chirping could be heard. She sighed and jumped off of the bed. She sat by the door and waited for any sudden outcome.

After for what seemed a while, she finally heard a noise coming from outside, but it wasn't as pleasant. A loud scream was heard outside of the window. To her curiosity, she wanted to see. She hesitated to go check and waited for any other noise.

But it was too late.

BOOM

Nothing could be seen and nothing could be heard. Except for a loud ringing throughout your ears. You coughed and tried to look around desperately. She started to use her hands to feel anything, but her hands were numb.

It was very dark and at that point, you weren't even sure if your eyes were open or not. You couldn't see a thing. You were scared, thinking that you were blind.

You layed there, waiting for the outcome. You were trying to figure out what just happened and tried to piece together everything. You then came to realized that there was an explosion.

Panic moved into your mind and you found yourself standing up. Just then, another explosion flung her to the ground. You looked over your shoulder at an explosion that seemed far to close. You tried to get up, but found debree all over your leg. You threw the chunk of brick off and tried to stand up.

You held onto the wall for support and rubbed your eyes. "Hey." You stopped rubbing and looked for the source of the voice. The voice was deep and it seemed like a man's voice. It sounded too familiar for you.

You felt a gloved hand touched your shoulder and turned in a fast motion. There stood a person you haven't seen in a while. "J-Jackal?!" You stuttered, feeling a bit relieved. "The one and only." He smirked. He then picked you up and went through the cracks of the wall.

You came to realize that he had caused all the explosions that had happened. "I didn't know that you were coming for me..." You said, frowning. "You should have expected me." Jackal said, now running off with you. "Is Tartaros pissed off?" You asked, scared.

"Sort of. Yeah." Jackal said. "Damn... This is all my fault then." You said. Jackal shook his head. "Nah. You just happened to be in the middle of it. Don't worry anymore. You're going to be a big of a help now that your with us again."

Holy crap! This was exciting writing this whole chapter! Things are staring to hit the fan now! I've been waiting for this moment for a while! Also sorry for the long update. I was in deep thought about this.

Also, I was playing Overwatch all day. I'm now addicted to it and love all of the characters.

I plan on writing a fanfictions now. I was also thinking of writing Fairy Tail One Shots, but not sure. Or maybe just Sting X Reader Oneshots.

Sadly, this book is almost ending in a few chapters. Sorry!

I drew some sketches of Reader and Sting and I'm not sure if you'll like it. It will be a scene in the next chapter of the reader shushing Sting up by a ****. Yukino will be there too, so things are gonna spice up. Hah.

I hope you enjoyed this! Please vote and comment!

IT'S HIGH NOON
