A/n : hey everyone....Knightmare here...hope you all are having a great day/night. I'm just happy that I can still make these stories for you guys. and that brings enough joy to my life. okay I talked enough...let's jump into this story.

(Y/N) POV 

I was out of the Darkforce Dimension and done practicing.....I got kinda of an idea of how most of my powers work and how or when to use them. I'm almost ready to take out whoever this Delilah bitch is and put her in her rightful place 6ft under. I got up from the chair and got out of my quarters and went to the top deck to meet with Meagan.

Meagan : you need something Mr Frye?

(Y/N) : yes....I wanted to know which way would be the long way around this city. I might want to get around the city......so I think since you're from around here....you could show me around.

Meagan : I would...but not now. we're almost there.

(Y/N) : I don't think you'll get the ship near the docks will you?

Meagan : unless I want to kill ourselves. 

(Y/N) : then how would we get to land? paddling?

Meagan : you're a funny fellow. those things went extinct since Sokolov made us these. *shows the boats*

(Y/N) : really? how do they work?

Meagan : it's easy really. the electricity in them makes the turbine at the back spin and that gives the boat some speed.

(Y/n) : interesting....Alec would love to see and touch these....and probably disassemble them.

Meagan : who is this "Alec"?

(Y/N) : his full name is Alexander Graham bell for saving our breath we just call him like that. he's also a scientist and inventor of some kind. he equipped my gauntlet with a grappling hook which came in handy in a lot of occasions. but he's also somewhat clumsy. he always manages to break his hand. but he can still do a lot  with only one hand.

Meagan : interesting. I'd like to hear more about this Alex. but we better get ready to go.

(Y/N) : understood. but maybe it's better if I go ahead and drop by the shore sooner.

Meagan : alright. but be careful. the guards will attack you immediately if they see you. 

(Y/N) : don't worry. they won't even catch a glimpse of me. 

Meagan : oh hey...this dropped by in Dunwall when the ship was anchored.

she then gave me some sort of mask which looked pretty suiting.

(Y/N) : thanks. need to keep a low profile. 

I then put my top hat away and put on the mask and pulled up my hood. 

(Y/N) : it's perfect.

Meagan : okay then....ready for me to drop you off by the docks?

(Y/N) : actually....I think it's better if you just tell me how these boats work so I can use them myself. 

Meagan : guess that'll do better. 

we then went towards the boats and she taught we what I needed to know to ride this thing safely.

(Y/N) : okay. I got it. any other tips?

Meagan : yes..don't even think about going to Addermire head on with this. or you're good as dead.

(Y/N) : roger that. *chuckles* if my brother was here he'd just ignore this and go full speed. guess we're lucky that I'm here.

Meagan : yeah right. just don't get yourself killed. we'll probably need you. 

I nodded and went in the boat.

(Y/N) : lower me down captain. 

Meagan : okay. oh and also...beware the blood flies. those have really bad stings.

(Y/N) : noted. 

she then lowered the boat to where it touched the water. I raised the right handle and the boat started to move and I used the middle handle to steer the boat. I kinda controlled it okay. after a couple of minutes I arrived at the docks and looked around seeing people doing their own things. I'm really lucky...this place is flooded with people...meaning I can blend with them perfectly. I used my eagle vision to see a couple of guards here and there. well...better keep a low profile so I better not kill anyone. I used disguise and made myself look like one of the guards....like this I can access Addermire without alerting anyone. but I better not stay too close to the guards...who'd know when they'll get curious. I looked up and saw some kind of railway in the air. guess this Sokolov guy really is something. and he gave me a way to get inside that institute without-

grand guard : hey you!

great...what now? I turned back to see one of the grand guards and he didn't looked even one bit pleased. 

grand guard : what are you doing here? you were supposed to be guarding the wall of light.

(Y/N) : yes sir. sorry sir. I'll be back at my post in a second.

grand guard : for your own safety...I'll be coming with you. now move....the wall of light won't guard itself.

(Y/N) : sir, yes sir. I'll cut your throat when I have the time.

I had no other choice but to go to this "wall of Light" which I believe is way different from what I believe it looks like. like anything here looks like what I think it looks like. after a couple of minutes me and the grand guard finally arrived at the wall of light to see no one is guarding it. 

(Y/N) : are we the only guards here?

grand guard : no. there must be more. stay sharp.

I used eagle vision and saw that they were more....but they're out cold. guess Emily did this. I then saw a green person (don't judge in Syndicate allies are green) on top and smirked knowing that no one else is here.

(Y/N) : I found something sir

grand guard : let me see.

he came my way and wanted to see what I'm looking at but I suddenly smashed his head to the pole knocking him out. I then deactivated my disguise.

(Y/n) : I know you're here Emily. 

I then dodged just in time for her sword to miss me.

(Y/N) : still not good enough.

Emily : how did you know?

(Y/N) : well...you could say it's my sixth sense. I can see through walls, tell between friend or foe....and I can look behind me without turning back. 

Emily : huh? guess you're filled with surprises.

(Y/N) : yeah. so...how do we get passed this "wall of light"

Emily : there's a way...but it's gonna be painful. 

(Y/N) : like anything in my life was painless. what is it?

Emily : we have to go through a hall filled with blood flies.

(Y/N) : great. lead the way. 

she nodded and ran to the alley and I followed her. she went up a stairway and I had to follow. we ended up at a window where a dead body was almost out of the window. 

(Y/N) : guess those flies kill better than the guards. 

Emily : yes they do. I thought Meagan told you.

(Y/N) : she just said that they're dangerous....not that they kill.

Emily : well...these bugs kill.....badly. and from each new body...new flies come out.

(Y/n) : got it. hmm...you think I can keep one and give it to Jacob?

Emily : are you really joking about this right now? 

(Y/N) : yes.....kinda.....no. 

Emily : you're more irritating than then the stupid parties in the castle. 

(Y/N) : you can say that.....or admit that I'm mostly charming.

Emily : as if.....come on. we have to move....and you can't take the flies with you.

(Y/N) : dammit. *lets go of the blood fly* eh...worth a try. 

Emily : just move slow and don't get too close to the nests....or you'll be filled with blood flies.

(Y/N) : understood. lets move.

 we then went inside and I was careful  so those bugs won't come near me. I don't wanna be a new fly nest. we both were careful but....had to take some stings and damn they hurt more than sword and gun wound. 

(Y/N) : and I thought bee sting hurts.

Emily : yeah.....I know.

after a lot of stings we finally got out and....oh bloody hell...more guards.

(Y/N) : why do those guards have masks?

Emily looked and turned towards me

Emily : they're not guards. they're overseers. they're people who are against the outsider...and will "cleanse" everyone who is related to them.

(Y/N) : so not only this place has weird magic, technology and bugs that can kill you.....but also it has a weird cult. great.....just great. 

Emily : they're not a cult....they're just another one of the royal  offices which are highly respected by the people. no matter....lets move....we have a body to collect.

(Y/N) : a what?

Emily : you see that building? it's an overseer outpost. in there, there's a body which we have to steal and take to someone named Mindy.

(Y/N) : and in return-?

Emily : she'll help us with getting to the Addermire institute. 

(Y/N) : like how? transport us there as test subjects? 

Emily : how she'll do it I don't know.....but I know that we need whatever help we can get.

(Y/N) : okay....no arguing that. should I snatch the body by disguising myself as one of them or-?

Emily : no. we're sneaking in together. I don't want to see you screw around again. 

(Y/N) : aww.....come on.....what's wrong with having a little fun?

Emily : this is not supposed to be fun. if it was we'd already be dead.

(Y/N) : okay then.....if that's not your thing...then I'll come up with a plan. 

I then got passed her and saw some of those overseers....but I don't think it'd be just two of them. I used eagle vision and saw at least 11 of them. 

(Y/N) : they're not a lot of them....we'll probably be fine. do you have sleeping darts?

Emily : yes...but they're only 2

(Y/N) : well I got 5. meaning we only need to take out four more ourselves. 

Emily : wait.....what's the plan?

(Y/N) : there are 11 overseers. if we can shoot our sleeping darts at the right time and don't waste them we'd only need to kill or take out 4 overseers. two for each. 

Emily : and how would we do that? 

I then looked at the three who were in the open and thought for a moment before answering.

(Y/N) : you see those three? they're easy targets. so we don't need to waste our sleeping darts for them. but I'd need to kill the one surrounded by the crowd.

Emily : why? 

(Y/N) : cause he's driving me crazy....and he probably won't shut up. so it's better to waste him. he's not so much of a use anyway.

Emily : *sigh* guess you're right on that one. 

(Y/N) : good. now lets move. I'll take the two on the ground..you take that one on the balcony.

Emily : got it.

she then used far reach to get behind some barrels of rum and from there on a balcony. I just walked there with my head slightly down so no one would see my face. I hid behind the rum barrels and waited for one of the overseers to come near me. when he did I just grabbed him and choked him to sleep. I then got up and went near the overseer who was talking a lot and his talking was actually pissing me off so I moved within the crowd and got close to him. 

Overseer : huh? hey! who are you?

(Y/N) : oh me? I'm just a traveler from Dunwall who came to thank you for your great job at keeping our cities clean. 

I then hugged him which in reality I poisoned him. the poison will kick in in about....2 minutes or so....no one will suspect a thing. don't worry though...Alec made a special poison that will seem to kill the guy.....but he actually goes for a long sleep.....with no heart beat......and alive. I let go of the hug and put my hand on his shoulder.

(Y/N) : keep doing your great job. this city needs more people like you. 

Overseer : ummm....thanks. take care and beware the outsider.

(Y/N) : of course.

I then disappeared in the crowd like I usually do. I then made my way in the near shop and saw the janitor. this guy is trouble.

Janitor : oh hello do you-

I didn't let him finish and hit his head to the wall. 

(Y/N) : sleep tight.

I then picked him up and hid him where no one could see. I then made it out of there and got passed the same guy again but he didn't notice me this time. both me and Emily got inside the outpost and I looked up with eagle vision and saw the remaining overseer guards. 

(Y/N) : *whisper* you ready?

Emily : *whisper* I'm always ready.

(Y/N) : then lets go.

we both slowly got up the stairs careful not to attract any attention so we moved as slowly as possible. we saw the two overseers who were talking so we kept our heads down. then one of them went to another room so I grabbed the guy who stayed and choked him to sleep. Emily got the one in the other room and got to the balcony and knocked the other overseer in the other side of the room. 

(Y/N) : okay....lets see.

I used eagle vision and saw four guys are in the upper floor and  the roof. and the body is in the upper floor. me and Emily both made our way up to the next floor and I saw the two guards with my eagle vision. lets just say these guys are in bad spots....I just shot two sleep darts at them and that's it. soooooo hard. I just let out a sigh...cause I can't do anything else.

(Y/N) : I really rather be in a fighting club instead of this place.

Emily : after seeing that....guess I really need more excitement too.

(and they're gonna regret wishing that)

we then just took a key from a guard and opened a door which you guessed it. the body was there...I don't even wanna know how he got those scars (thank god we're in 2019 not 2008.....buuuut you guys are gonna do that anyway don't you?) I then picked up the body as Emily went ahead to make sure everything is okay. and as it seems....the poison did it's thing now the guy is dead.....thank god....he was driving me crazy with his stupid speech. 

(Y/N) : good...that asshole is dead. 

Emily : did you have a problem with him or...-

(Y/N) : no....I just hate long and repeated speeches by assholes. now come on.....we got a dead body to deliver.

me and Emily slowly made our way out and....yup the last asshole we have to take care of. sleeping dart for you. now I'm just bored to death. no offense dead guy. we made our way to an alley and made sure no one would suspect a thing. 

??? : hey. you got him. 

(Y/N) : is this-?

Emily : yes...she's Mindy.

(Y/N) : thought so...you're face is all over their outpost.

Mindy : yeah. made a little bit of trouble for them. 

(Y/N) : at least they got you a full great picture......anyways....what should I do with our little....dead body. 

Mindy : right in the hole.

(Y/N) : OK

I just threw the body in the hole and Mindy started to fill the hole.

Emily : I won't ask why you needed that. so how do we get to Addermire?

Mindy : I just sent one of my boys to turn off the power to the carriage rails. when the juice is off, you can walk along the rails and get where you need to go. on the other side there's a station that will take you to Addermire.

(Y/N) : that is quite helpful. thank you. now....we'll be on our way now. lets go Emily.

me and Emily got out of that place and went back to the outpost cause the two guards are still there and it's better to take them out before they become troublesome. I got two more sleeping darts....not gonna waste 'em here. we both went towards the roof and saw the two guards. we both nodded and slowly made our way towards the guards. Emily took out the first guy and I took out the other one who's leaning on the fence. I then looted the bodies and got three more darts and some money. which....I can tell is more than what the Blighters make.

(Y/N) : okay...time to get back to the streets. 

I looked down and. it's no biggie. jumped down higher and still good.

Emily : don't tell me you're gonna jump down. 

(Y/N) : well...I got only one way to go right? so why not?

Emily : again one of those crazy things you do.

(Y/N) : well.....when your life is as crazy as mine......you'll see it only as the only sane way. 

I then jumped down and rolled a little so I won't break my legs. well...that wasn't so bad. I looked up and saw Emily still up there. I motioned to her to come down.

(Y/N) : come on. get down here. 

she seemed hesitant at first but then jumped and used her far reach and got down. she looked at me.

Emily : how was that?

(Y/N) : eh....it was good for someone who's not used to these kind of stunts....but you'll get better. 

Emily : all of a sudden this feels like one of the training sessions with my father.

(Y/N) : bet he was a great warrior and father.

Emily : he was. he was the person who inspired me to be good empress for my people. but now Delilah and her little group are draining Serkonos of it's resources.

(Y/N) : well....you're lucky I'm here. the assassins are experts in stopping these kind of people. 

Emily : you seem too happy to be here. *starts walking*

(Y/N) : *starts walking after her* well....when you have a lot to do for a couple of months and all of a sudden have nothing to do.......this will seem pleasant to you as well.

Emily : really? so you have nothing to do?

(Y/N) : there are fight clubs and races but winning gets boring after a while. I really needed some excitement.

we then stopped and saw some guards so we crouched and started to walk stealthily. when we were crouching we went passed a couple of stores, guards and a couple more things. we even went pass a safe shop which.....if I want I can open in just two minutes. we finally could see the station.

Emily : the Addermire station.....from here we can go to the institute.

(Y/N) : okay...time to get ourselves a ticket. 

we went pass a grand guard who did suspect but not very much so we could sneak pass right behind him and went in the station. I used my eagle vision and saw three guards upstairs so...let's make sure they're not a problem. I went behind the guy in the office and knocked him out. another guy came next to the window and Emily knocked him out. I went behind the wall and looked to see a grand guard and....this guy can't even read properly......wow....so much for best guards. I just whistled and attracted his attention. I just had to wait and....damn it...Emily took him out.

(Y/N) : oh well...that works. lets move.

we both looked out the the window and I used my eagle vision......god I used this god damn thing too many times already. doesn't matter but.......fuck it. there's only one guy....wow....so much...oh never mind...there's a guy down there too. 

(Y/N) : okay......there are only two guards......and I can't tell whether he's guarding the carriage...or guarding the other guard cause he's new. 

seriously the guard is looking at the other guard who's clearly blankly staring at a wall...which has nothing on it. 

Emily : well...I don't know the answer to that.....but I know that it's better if I get the one who's closer to the carriage so you can take the one below. and buy me enough time to get around the other guard.

(Y/N) : I.......I don't have a say in this plan do I?

Emily : no.

(Y/N) : fine.....I'll do my thing you do you. 

I then jumped on the guard and...........I didn't accidentally stabbed him out of habit did I? I looked and....I did. fuck! oh well....old habits die hard I guess......especially if you do them for more than a decade. 

guard : stay where you are or I'll use letha-

he is immediately jumped on by Emily who smashes his face to the floor. ouch. 

Emily : okay they're taken care of now lets.....why is your gauntlet covered with blood?

(Y/N) : umm....*shows bloody hidden blade* old habits.....sorry. 

Emily : *sigh* guess two deaths aren't that bad.

(Y/N) : yeah....it ain't that bad. lets just get in the carriage and get to that institute. 

we then went in the carriage and pulled the lever so the carriage moved and we're off to go to the Addermire institute. hope we can put a stop to this crown killer....without getting killed.

A/n : I'm gonna pretend I never heard that. so anyways there's another chapter of Assassin of Dunwall....and for all of you who are reading this......first of all thank you for reading this and second.......It's still a "maybe" about the question of "will the reader and Emily become lovers?". seriously just have patience......but....you'll get your answers soon.....I'm flipping a coin right now.
