READER'S POV

Ince we went through the door the wind was a lot stronger once we got to the highest tower in the castle. We walked up the stairs and the throne room was just there. Shadow looked at me and said,"You ready?" I nodded my head. Link then said,"Shadow if anything happens get (Y/n) to safety, got it?" Shadow nods his head and then the three of us walked in the throne room.

We looked around and it was too quiet as the thunder and lighting surrounded the castle. We saw a broken head of a statue and when we looked up there she was, Princess Zelda in the centre of the triforce. Link shouted,"Princess Zelda!" Link was about to go up to her but Midna stopped him because a certain someone was sitting on the throne with a smirk on his face.

He saw us and said,"Welcome to my castle, *chuckles*" Midna then said,"So you're...Ganondorf." I said,"Looks like we've got perfect timing." I said with a smirk. Link and Shadow unsheathed their swords and then Ganondorf stood up and he continued to smirk and look at us with that evil look in his eye. Midna grinned and said,"I'be been dying to meet you."

Ganon looked at her and said,"Your people have long amused me, Midna. To defy the gods with such petty magic, only to be cast aside... how pathetic." Ganon raised his hand and said,"Pathetic as they were, though, they served me well. Their anguish was my nourishment." He clenched his fist and said,"Their hatred bled across the void and awakened me. I drew deep of it and grew strong again. Your people had some skill, to be sure...but they lacked true power." Ganon said as he lowered his hand and he then looked up at Princess Zelda.

He then said,"The kind of absolute power that those chosen by the gods weld." Ganon then turned back to us and he raised his right hand and it started to glow in the shape of the triforce. He then said,"He who wields such power would make a suitable king for this world, don't you think?" Midna glared at him and said,"Ha! Such conceit! But if you are one of the chosen wielders of power, as you claim... I will risk everything to deny you!" Ganondorf chuckled and said,"Shadow has been moved by light, it seems..." He said as he looked at Shadow and Midna.

Ganon smirked and said,"How amusing" Ganon was then suddenly surrounded by black squares and he said,"Very well... Deny me, then!" Ganon looked at Princess Zelda and he raised his hand and said,"Yes, try to deny me... you and your little friends..." Shadow then said,"He's heading for the Princess!!" Midna knew what he was going to do so she rose up quickly and Link shouted,"Wait Midna!!"

MIDNA'S POV

I got in front of Zelda and I watched Ganon as he grinned at me before his body turned into black squares. He rose up to where the princess was and then he charged at me but when I waited for the impact it never came. I looked at myself and I wasn't even hurt. I turned to Zelda and I tried to strike him but I couldn't do it. I placed my hand on her face and I thought to myself,"I'm sorry..."

Suddenly her eyes opened and I was sent flying out of the throne room and I landed roughly on the ground.

LINK'S POV

After Midna was pushed back roughly I ran over to her but then a barrier appeared in front me. (Y/n) then said,"Oh great! this is getting from bad to worse." Just then we turned around and Zelda was walking towards us. Ganondorf then said,"Three of you, faithless fools who would dare to take up arms against the king of light and shadow..." He said as he summoned a sword. He then rose into the air and he said,"So you choose. And so you shall feel my wrath!"

(Y/n) grits her teeth and said,"You're going to pay for that!" Ganon started to float above us and we took a fighting stance waiting for him to make a move. I then said,"What's the plan (Y/n)?" She said,"Umm...." I then said,"You don't have one?!" (Y/n) then said,"Hey! I watch my foes carefully and then I'll make it up as I go!" Shadow said,"Heads up!!"

Ganon raised his sword and then a large lighting ball came up a the tip of his sword. He then threw the lighting ball towards us and then Shadow got in front of (Y/n) and he used his shield bash like how I use it. Ganon used his sword to repel the lighting and it came at us again and I start to strike it a few times back and forth between me and Ganon. Suddenly the lighting ball struck Ganon and he shouted in pain. After he got hit he floated away and he watched us carefully.

READER'S POV

I knew what we had to do. I said,"Link when Ganon uses those lighting balls repel them a few times until he's been defeated." Link nods his head and then Ganon flew straight at us but we managed to dodge him a few times. Ganon them created another lighting ball and when he threw another lighting ball at us I got the apple out and I was able to freeze Ganon in mid air.

The lighting ball struck Ganon and we did this the third time until eventually, he was screaming in pain as there was some sparks coming out of Zelda's body. Once Ganon was weakened, the barrier faded away and Midna floated in mid-air and she got the three fused shadows. Once she transformed into that monster from before, I used the apple again to bound him and then Midna grabs Ganon and she threw him towards the throne. 

The black squares came out of Zelda's body and Ganon was longer in her body. Link and I sighed of relief and I said,"Thank goodness she's alright." Shadow then said,"I wouldn't celebrate just yet, look." We turned to look and the black squares started to form Ganon's body again. We took a fighting stance and then Midna got in between me and Link and she rests her arms on our shoulders.

Link and I looked at her and we smiled. We then looked back at Ganon and he started to grow bigger and bigger. Ganon transformed into a large creature and he reared up and then he landed back on the ground. He roared at us and he then jumped away from us. I said,"Oh crap! how are we supposed to battle something that's the twice the size of a house?!"

Just then he was about to charge at us but then I saw a white glow coming from his forehead. I quickly got my crossbow out and I fire an arrow at him and then he landed on the floor. We got out of the way and I shouted,"Now! Hit him now!!" We all charged at him and used our strongest attacks on his scar and then he got back up. Ganon then starts to run around in a circle destroying some of the pillars until he disappeared.

Link transformed into his wolf form and while I watched and listened carefully for Ganon. Just then one of the strange marks on the barriers turned blue. I shouted,"He's gonna come through that one!" When he came charging out of the portal. Midna got her red hand at the ready and then she grabbed his head and tossed him to the side.

Shadow, Link and I started to attack his scar again and Ganon got bac up for the third time and he then starts to run in a circle destroying some more pillars that were in his way. Shadow said,"Here we go again! (Y/n)! Link! get ready!" We nodded our heads and then Ganon disappeared for the second time. I used my eagle vision and I watched Ganon's golden aura that was hiding in a different dimension.

I noticed that he was looking us and I said,"He's gonna go through that one!" Midna got her red hand ready and when Ganon came charging towards us Midna grabs his head and she tosses him to the side. We then started to attack his scar again and then Ganon rears up and he roars in pain. Suddenly he falls forward and he collapses onto the ground roughly. Link transformed back into his human form and said,"Did we win?"

Shadow said,"I don't know." Suddenly Ganon's beast body started to go up in flames. We were standing near the throne watching and waiting for his next move and then Midna started to glow brightly.

LINK'S POV

I looked at Midna and the light particles were heading towards Zelda's body. Zelda's body stops glowing as she opens her eyes, she was now fully awake again. Midna then said,"Pr-Princess... I... I.." Zelda looked at her and said,"Say nothing, Midna... Your heart and mine were as one, however briefly... Such suffering you have endured..."

Midna then lowers head slightly like is she was sad. Zelda then looked at (Y/n) and said,"It also appears I have to thank for, for protecting these two." (Y/n) bows and said,"No thanks are nesscessary Princess, I was only doing my part by assisting the hero." Zelda smiled at her and she then places her hand on her shoulder and said,"You bow to no one, your father would have been proud of you for coming this far."

(Y/n) raises her head and she smiled at Zelda. She looked over at Shadow and he also lowers his head and said,"I'm sorry, Princess, I was following orders." Zelda then smiled at Shadow and said,"I understand, I notice that look in your red eyes, I knew that they weren't full of darkness nor anger, they were filled determination and I can already see it."

Zelda said as she looked at (Y/n), who was now blushing. Shadow scratched the back of his head and was also blushing as well.

READER'S POV

Suddenly we heard an explosion behind us. We turned to look and Ganon has turned himself into a head like torch and he was chuckling evilly. Link and Zelda took a few steps back while Shadow hugged me close to shield me. I said,"No way, there's no way we can fight him." Shadow placed his hand on my head to keep me safe.

MIDNA'S POV

I knew that there was no chance of Link and (Y/n) fighting him. I closed my eyes and I got the fused shadows out. Link saw this and I said,"Goodbye, everyone." Link tried to stop me but I teleported him, Zelda, (Y/n) and Shadow out of the throne room.

I smiled as I watched their bodies turned into black squares and I teleported them out of the Castle. I thought to myself,"Grow strong you two, if I don't make it...protect Zelda and defeat the evil that has plagued Hyrule...until we meet again."

I lowered my head and the three fused shadows came together and I turned into that monster again. I roared at him and Ganon roared at me back. I floated upwards and I got my spear at the ready and I tried to stab him but then everything went white.
