READER'S POV

After Link and I went trough the time portal we were back in the forest version of the sacred Grove. Just then we noticed Ooccoo standing there and she said,"Well done, adventurers!  Ooccoo sees what she was looking for! Goodness, yes! it's the Dominion Rod you found in the temple! But that thing has been around for quite some time. I can see from here that it's magic has been exhausted. Ooh, what am I to... I thought at last I could return to the sky..."  

She said sadly. Link and I looked at each other confused. Ooccoo then said,"And I have completely forgotten the spell that would once again bestow it with magic... It can't be helped. I suppose I'll just have to look for the statues that respond to the rod. It's decided! that's what we'll do! that's what we'll do, indeed! Well, Ooccoo is on her way! See you again!"

We watched Ooccoo run away from us and then she flew away. Midna came out of Link's shadow and she said,"Hey! Wait! What did you do to the Dominion Rod?" ...she's gone." Midna turned to look at us and she said,"I suppose a useless rod is really just more baggage, but...what are you two going to do? hmm... Did she just say something about returning to the sky? the last piece of the mirror is also said to be in the heavens..."

Midna thought for a moment and she said,"If we can restore magic to the Dominion Rod, maybe it'll come in handy!" Midna went back into Link's shadow. Link looked at the dominion rod and it was out of power just like how that Ooccoo said. I said,"Looks like she wasn't joking about the rod being out of magic." Link then said,"I wonder how we're going to get magic back in there?"

We stood there with our arms folded thinking until someone said,"Why don't you head back to Kakriko village? I'll shaman will be able to help." I turned around and Shadow was standing there. I said,"Shadow!" Link frowned and said,"Oh for Din's sake not you again! I'm tired of you popping out of nowhere and trying to steal (Y/n) off me!" Shadow smirked and said,"Ha! that's rich coming from you! if you hadn't popped into (Y/n)'s life she wouldn't be here hanging out with you all of the time and she would be spending more time with me!!"

I raised my hands and said,"Guys calm down." Link and Shadow glared at each other and then they collided their foreheads. Link said,"Why the heck would (Y/n) spend time with a freak like you!!" Shadow then shouted,"Who are you calling a freak?! you Moran!!" They continued to bicker while I stood there watching those two act like a pair of dogs fighting over a piece of meat.

I closed my eyes, sighed and a tick mark appeared on my head. I marched over to those two and I grabbed their heads and I knocked them together and shouted,"SHUT IT!!" They both crouched down in pain and they said,"Ow!!" I said,"Geez, have you two even listen to yourselves?! you're acting like a pair of wild dogs fighting over a piece of meat!! stop with the fighting and get along with each other for once would ya?! you're giving me a headache over here!!"

LINK'S POV

Shadow and I looked at each other and then back at (Y/n) gobsmacked on our faces because this was the first time we've seen her act this way. She then said,"Anyway back to the subject at hand, Shadow did you mean that we should see the shaman again?" Shadow stood up again and he said,"Don't get mad but I went to see how your little Ordon friend was doing, what was her name? oh yeah, llia turns out she's starting get a little bit of her memory back maybe she can tell you where she was before she ended up in Telma's bar."

I stood up on my feet and said,"You didn't do anything to her did you?!" Shadow raised his hands and said,"Relax hero, I didn't do anything wrong with her, I just heard it from my familiars that's all no need to get so defensive." I glared at him and (Y/n) then said,"All right thanks Shadow, I owe you one big time." (Y/n) said as she grabs my hand and we then left the Scared Grove.

 TIME SKIP...

READER'S POV

We made it back to Kakariko village and we then entered the sanctuary where we saw Renaldo, Cor Goron, Darbus and llila inside of the sanctuary. We went over to them and then Renaldo saw us and he said,"AH! I have been waiting for you Link, (Y/n). Fortune has smiled upon us! If things go well, we should be able to help llia recover her memory. Do you two know Telma's friend, Shad? Well it seems he is researching the heavens, and he has come here to see the statue in the basement of the sanctuary." 

I was surprised at this and I was wondering why Shad was interested in the statue in the basement. Renaldo then said,"And, as I have learned, when llia was saved, she overheard someone talking about the rod of the heavens, or something like that... The Goron elder believes that to help her regain her lost memories, we must piece together the fragments of her past... which means... if we work our way backward from the very place where she lost her memory, we may find something that will restore it. Now we must retrace llia's path... I am certain it was Telma who cared for her before she arrived in this village, was it not?"

I thought back and said,"You know now that you mention it, you do have a point there, Telma was the first person I can think of when we first came to her bar." Renaldo nods his head and said,"It would be best to speak with her first. please take this to Telma!" Renaldo gave Link his letter to Telma on how to treat llia to get her memory back.

Renaldo then said,"...It shames me to say it, but to be honest, I cannot abide Telma's company." A stifle laugh came from my mouth because I knew what he meant. Renaldo then said,"We have a sighting chance, Link! (Y/n)!" Link looked at llia and she said to him,"Link... (Y/n)... I remember being saved from a dangerous situation by someone... Someone who told me all about the rod of heavens. But now I can't remember the who, why, where or what it all means... Do you two really think I'll recover my memory? I regret that a complete stranger like yourselves got caught up in all of this because of me. I'm so sorry."

Link smiled and he did his best to cheer her up by saying some comforting words to her. Some how, I felt slightly jealous when he was talking to another girl. I looked at the Goron Elder and I said,"Elder, I wanted to say thanks for letting me know about that mysterious assassin, it really helped me out a lot." He smiled and said,Not a problem young assassin, but whether we get that girl's memory back, will be up to you and the young warrior as well."

I looked at Darbus and I whispered to him,"By the way, does Darbus remember anything about when he touched that treasure?" He whispered back saying,"Darbus has lost the memory of his dark time... we have not told him that you two were the ones who saved him, he is a proud Goron and he can be...touchy. If he knew he had been saved two humans... on the other hand, he does have a strong sense of moral duty, so if anything happens, you two can count on him to help."

I nodded my head and I said,"Right thanks a bunch again, Elder." I said and when I left the sanctuary I enjoyed that moment of fresh air. Just then I saw purple smoke near me and I knew who it was. I chased after her and when I got up hill she came out of her purple smoke and she had a smirk plastered on her face. I glared at her and said,"What do you want this time?!"

Gina scoffed and said,"That's a bit of a hostile attitude, but what the heck was I expecting? you and I are enemies in battle and we're also rivals competing for Shadow's heart." I glared at her and I said,"Is there a reason why you came out here? if you're here to annoy me then I'm not interested in talking to you." I said as I tried to walk away from her but she got in front of me to stop me.

Gina giggled and she said,"Now, now, there is a reason why I came out here." She wrapped her arm around me and she said,"Tell me, have you found out the apple and where it's hidden?" I glared at her and said,"Of course I do, all I know is that it's in the twilight realm in yours and in Zant's hands." She giggled and said,"Well it's good to know that you're not that so dumb, anyway, have you also figured out who this friend that your father gave the apple to?"

I then said,"Not yet, I still haven't asked Midna about that yet unless if you know who it was." Gina smiled and said,"Maybe, but let me ask you this one question, back to when you lost your parents have you ever once thought about what happened that day?" I was confused at her comment and I said,"What are you talking about?" Gina smirked and you said,"You really don't know do you?"

Gina removed her arm from my shoulders and she walked away from me and said,"I'm talking about the day when your precious parents were killed in that horrible fire that day, have you ever wondered how that fire started?" I then said,"The guards said that bandits have started that fire that day, why? do you know something that I don't?" Gina laughed evilly and she said,"Tell you what, if you and your little friend can get into the twilight realm and get the apple of Eden back from us, I might tell you about what originally happened that day, now if you'll excuse me."

Gina said as she vanished into thin air. I thought to myself,"She does know something about what happened that day, but what? What could she possibly know about what happened that day when my parents were killed?"
