READER'S POV

I was running through the corridors after a while but that guy I saw was gone again. I turned around and Link was no longer behind me. I shouted,"Link! Link where are you?! Link!" I looked around some more but he wasn't with me. When I turned around again I saw the mysterious guy again. He said,"Welcome, I've been expecting you, (Y/n)." I was shocked that he knew my name. I said,"Who are you? how do you know my name?" He ignore my questions and he walked ahead of me.

I caught up to him and said,"Where are we going? where's Link?" He said,"You shall be with your friend again soon but first you need to learn more about us and the creed." After a while I ended up in a large hall and the banners had the assassin's symbol on them. I said,"Where are we?" He said,"This temple was once home to the assassins until one say a war broke out between us and the templars this place now abandoned but only I remain in this temple." I asked him,"Why? why do you remain here when there's nothing to protect? what happened to the brothers and sisters of the creed?"

He looked around like if he was thinking about a memory and he said,"My brothers and sisters of the creed have left this temple because the templars were coming here to invade this temple I remain here because I knew that the chosen assassin will come here some day through the time portal and that chosen assassin is you." I was surprised that he knew me. I said,"How did you know that I was the chosen assassin?" He looked at me with a smile and he then said,"Because I always knew that you were the chosen assassin, (Y/n), I've always known."

The mysterious man takes off his hood and my eyes widen at this because I knew who he is. I was white as a sheet when I saw him, I said,"It..it can't be... F-Father?!" He looked at me with a smile and he said,"You've grown up, my sweet daughter." I didn't know whether to be sad or angry at him. I couldn't hold back my tears anymore, they spilled out of my eyes and I covered my eyes as I continued to cry. I said,"My father...father..." He just smiled at me and I couldn't contain my anger anymore. I threw a punch at him but he dodged it and said,"Whoa! (Y/n)!" 

I threw more punches at him, he continued to dodge them and I shouted,"Why?! Why?! Why didn't you tell me about the assassins?! why did you keep me in the dark about them?!" Father caught my punch and I said,"After that fire started, you left me and Zoro all alone, I lost the ranch and I was lost and so lonely... *Sob*" Father pulled me into a hug and he said,"Forgive me, to leave you and Zoro all this time, I didn't mean to keep you in the dark about the assassins and the creed but, you were only a child back then I wanted to wait until you were old enough but I'm proud of you."

I pulled away from him and I said,"You're proud of me?" He smiled and said,"Yes, I'm proud that you became the chosen assassin and I knew all along that you were the chosen one." I then said,"But father how is it that you're still alive? I thought you and mum died in the fire." My father looked away and he said,"That bit is true but I may be here physically to you but I'm actually a soul who has came back to help you one last time." I was shocked at this.

He sat down on the chair and said,"As a soul it is my job to help you and teach you about us and the creed." I said,"I see, sorry I actually thought that you were alive this whole time waiting for me." My father smiled and said,"I'm sorry to disappoint you but, all is not lost, I got to see you again and you're all grown up now." I smiled at him. Father then stood up and he ruffled my hair and said,"Come with me, there's something I have to show you." I followed father and he took me into a larger room and this time, in the room there was stone coffins with names inscribed on them. 

I said,"Coffins? some of these names I recognise like Ezio and Altair but, their bodies are buried somewhere else, so how..." Father smiled and said,"The coffins are empty, when our ancestors existed they scribbled Ezio and Altair's names on these coffins including our ancestors." Father then walked into another room with me behind him. I looked around it was a much darker room. He said,"In this room, our ancestors locked away the apple of Eden in this very room." Father said as he walked over to a pedestal but there was a large circle in the middle and I said,"I'm guess the apple was originally here but it's gone now, what happened?"

Father then said,"A while back before you and Zoro were born, my brothers and sisters of the creed fought against the templars and then your grandfather and I came to this temple because we discovered that the apple was locked away in the temple we had to get to it first before the templars did." I looked at the walls and I noticed that there was skeletons on the floor and I said,"And I'm guessing those skeletons are the templars that you fought against?"

He nods his head and said,"Your grandfather and I got here before they did and we took the apple out of the room and well, you pretty much know the rest." I then said,"You took the apple back to the hideout you fooled everyone saying that you locked it away but when actually you placed a fake one there instead and you took the real apple to the twilight realm." Father nods his head and he said,"Yes and I'm afriad with ganondorf rising back to power after he left the twilight relam his daughter has the apple now and she has the ability to control it." I then said,"You mean Gina?" Father looked at me and said,"You know her already?" I nodded my head and said,"I do, I met her in the goron mines when Link and I were looking for the second fused shadow."

Father then said,"I see, anyway, there's something else you should know, there are more pieces of eden scattered about in this world but no one knows where they are." Father said as he looked up at the ceiling. I looked up as well and there was some stars or crystals that were glowing above us. Father then said,"The three goddess created the creed in order not only to stop the evil spreading throughout this land but also to stop our arch enemies, the templars, from stealing the apple from us." I looked back at father and he said,"(Y/n), I know that you are a bit sad and angry at me for keeping this quiet for a longtime but you were only a child back then however, now that you've grown up I trust you and your brother to look after the creed for me and your mother."

I smiled and said,"Dad, did mum knew about you being assassin as well?" Father nods his head and said,"Yes she did, (Y/n) there's one more thing I want to give you before you head back to Link." Father opened a small chest and he brought our a bracelet and he said,"This bracelet belonged to your mother i brought it back from the after side because she asked to give you this if I were to see you again." Father puts the bracelet on my wrist and he said,"This bracelet might be able to protect you from harm but remember, it can protect you from spell attacks however, if you were come to face to face with Gina and if she's got the apple it won't be able to proect you from it's power."

I then said,"Understood, thank you." Father smiled at me. Suddenly, father's body started to fade away. My eyes widen at this and he said,"Looks like my time's up, it's tme for me to go back to your mother." I felt the tears in the corner of my eyes again and i said,"Father! if you do see mother tell her I'm doing fine and I'm doing my best to get the ranch back and I'll make sure to look after it." Father smiled at this and he said,"All right, I will tell her everything, make sure Zoro looks after the creed he's the new leader now and tell him, I'm sorry, I faiked as a father to you." I smiled and said,"Of course I will, I love you." Father smiled at me one last time and as he rose higher and higher towards the ceiling his body turned into particles. As the golden particles fell I closed my eyes and could feel my father's warmth and I heard his whisper about where he hid his will. I smiled and said,"Thank you, father."

I put my hood back on and I left the room and I went to find Link. I was trying to find Link until black smoke appeared in front of me. Shadow came out of the darkness and I said,"Shadow, what are you doin here?" Shadow said,"I came looking for you but when I saw Link you weren't with him where'd you go?" I hen started to explain to shadow where I was and who I saw as well. Shadow's eyes widen in shock when I mentioned my father, he said,"Was he alive when you saw him?" I sighed and said,"I thought that as well, but when he said he was a soul I was slightly disappointed because I actually thought he survived the fire."

SHADOWS'S POV

My look softened when I saw he loneliness and sadness in her eyes. I walked over to her and I hugged her. I felt (Y/n) relax in my embrace and she also wrapped her arms around me. She then said,"Please stay with me like this for a while." (Y/n) as she started to tremble a little in my arms. I stroked her hair and said,"Of course."

(Y/n) buries her face in my chest and she then started to cry a little. I continued to hold her close to me for a while.
