LINK'S POV

We left Snowpeak and then we started ask some of the Zoras and they told us that it was the same giant that kept stealing their reekfish. The Zoras told us only Prince Ralis was able to catch one of them so (Y/n) and I headed back to Kakariko village to look for Prince Rails and he was on the other side of the Graveyard preying for his father like always. We went over to him and he said,"Are... Are your names Link and (Y/n)?"

I said,"Yes, I'm Link and this is my friend (Y/n), why do ask?" Prince Ralis then said,"My mother came to me in a dream... She showed me your images. She spoke of two youths who would save our domain and steer my fate. One named Link and the other (Y/n). I must thank you both for what you've done. If there's anything I can ever do for you two, please tell me. Please..."

(Y/n) then said,"Well actually Prince Ralis, I didn't exactly do that much to help your people but I was able to help Link bring you here to the shaman of Kakariko village. The King didn't trust us assassins that well back then." Prince Ralis smiled and said,"No need to worry Miss (Y/n) I trust you now."

(Y/n) looked at him with a surprised a look on her face. I then said to him,"Anyway there is something you can help us with..." I showed Prince Rails the sketch of the giant that was holding a reekfish. The Prince looked at it and said,"Hmm... The beast-man of the snowy mountain...perhaps? But more important is this red fish it is holding... It must be a reekfish. That is a rare specimen found only in the Zora village. It feeds on a valuable type of coral, and without that bait, even our best fishers cannot catch one."

He then said to us,"Look closely, Link, (Y/n)..." We then looked closely at his earring and Prince Ralis said,"My earring is made out of this coral. I would like to give this to you two." Prince Ralis gave us his earring and he then said to us,"I received it from my mother..."

(Y/n) looked surprised and said,"Don't you want to keep it?" He then said,"But it is fine. I no longer need it. As I look at you two, I get a sense of what my mother wanted, what I should be doing now..." Prince Ralis looked at us again and said,"I will return to my village. The reekfish can be found near the Mother-and-Child Rocks in the waterfall basin near my village. The fish are red, so I think you two should be able to spot them..."

After we finished talking to Prince Ralis we headed back to Zora's domain and we were near the Mother-and-Child Rocks like what the Prince told us. I got my fishing rod out while (Y/n) sat on a boulder watching me.

READER'S POV

I sat on the boulder waiting for Link to catch a reekfish. He then said,"I'm a little surprised at what Prince Ralis said to you." I then said."Yeah me too, I didn't expect him to trust me not after what we assassins did to their kind a while back." Link smiled and said,"Looks like the Prince had forgotten about the past and moved on. I thought about something and I asked Link,"Link, once all of this is over what will you do?" Link then said,"I might head back to Ordon village but what about you? You don't have any where else to go do you?"

I then said,"Actually I'm still aiming to get my ranch back so if don't get enough money to pay back the bill that my dad left me once all this is over, I can collect bounties with Zoro maybe then I can get my old home back." Link smiled and he mumbled,"A brother and sister duo, huh." Just then the float that was on Link's rod disappeared underwater and then he was able to catch a reekfish but it stinks.

I said,"*Sniff, sniff* Eww! no wonder it's called a reekfish, that thing stinks to high heaven." Link then said,"Oh stop being such a drama queen and transform into your wolf form and take a sniff at it's scent so we can get up snowpeak's mountain."

"All right already!" I said. I placed my hand on the shape shifting stone and I was in my wolf form and so was Link so we then took sniff at the fish. We then turned back in our human forms and we headed for Snowpeak Mountain.

Once we got there we made our way to the bottom of the cliff and we then carefully cross the lake by jumping onto the broken ice and we eventually made it to the other side. Once we got to the other side the blizzard started to get worse so Link and I transformed into our wolf forms. I placed my nose to the ground and I took a sniff and said,"The reekfish's scent continues ahead up this hill." Link then said,"Yeah I know, stay close and try and not to get separated like last time." I nodded my head and said,"Right."

Midna rode on Link's back and we went through the blizzard by following the fish's scent.

TIME SKIP...

After a while had passed we managed to get into a cave and then we finally made it to the top when we there was a snow storm so I put my hood on and then Link and I were having a look around our surroundings but then some ice bats came at us so we fought them off and when we did we were about to cross the icy bridge but then a black-red fences boxed us in again. I said,"(Sighs) Not again! Don't these Shadow beasts ever give up on attacking us!?" 

"Stop complaining! And prepare yourself!" Link shouted at me and then three shadow beasts came and like usual we defeated them. After another portal was created the blizzard started to calm down and we can see clearly again and then we saw a large creature standing next to a frozen tree. Link and I walked towards him cautiously.

When we got close to him he was holding a large reekfish and when he saw us he said,"Uh! Whoa-ho! I heard a ruckus, and uh! Just two humans! I see humans not often, uh? Why two humans come to snows? You two...on spiritual journey? You two look for true selves?" I glared at him and said,"What the hell do we look like? Monks to you?"

"(Y/n) shut your mouth!" Link shouted at me again. I said,0"Sorry I'm just saying." Link then said,"Sorry about my friend here, she's got a little sharp tongue and anyway, no we're actually here looking for something." Link and I started to explain to the yeti about the mirror shard and then the yeti said,"...Uh. You two look for mirror in such faraway place... Uh uh uh uh uh! Why you not say so before? But two make good climb! And you two lucky to meet me! I found shiny mirror piece. Same mirror you two look for, uh? Uh! You tow come to house and see yourselves!"

The yeti then held up the reekfish and said,"I caught fish. I make you two hot meal, at least... My house far away... We slide there, uh? Do like me! Come!" The yeti punched the frozen tree and then a frozen leaf landed on the snow  and then he hopped onto it and then he started to slide down the mountain. Link looked in the direction where the yeti disappeared to and said,"Well that's one way to get to his house."

"So what? Let's get going." I said as I rolled up to the tree making a frozen leaf fall down. Link did the same but he looked a bit unsure about it. I said,"What's wrong? Scared?" Link then said,"Not likely, besides you seem excited."

"Maybe, now let's get going already!" I said as I pushed him on his back with my foot making him slide. Link screamed,"Whoaa!!" I shouted,"Woo hoo!!" We jumped across the gap and we continued to slide down the hill. There was a broken bridge but we were able to jump across it and eventually we made it to the Yeti's house. Once we got there the frozen leafs were shattered on the stone path and I started to burst with laughter. "HAHAHAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHAHA! WHAT A BLAST! LET'S DO THAT AGAIN!" Link shouted,"Let's not!!"

Just then Midna came out of Link's shadow and she said,"...Here? What's with this guy? He's got a nice place...for a beast-man." She said as she returned to Link's shadow again. I said,"She has a good point though,I wonder how a beast-man like him got a house like this?" Link then said,"I don't know let's get inside before the snow storm starts again." Link says as he looks at the sky and he was right the weather was starting to get worse so we went inside the yeti's house hoping that we would find the mirror shard.
