READER'S POV

Gina and I stood there glaring at each other for a while waiting for one of us to make a move until Gina started to move slowly towards me and then that was the right moment for me to make a move. When she was close enough I charged at her and I swung my blade at her but she manage to block it and then she forced me backwards I lost my balance but I was able to regain it just in time before her blade touched me.

When she was focusing on me I was about to stab her with my left hidden blade but she grabbed my wrist and I head butt her in the face and this time it was her turn to lose her balance when that happened I crouched down and side swiped her with leg causing her to trip up and I got on top of her and when I was about to strike her on the throat until she used her purple smoke and she disappeared again.

I got up and I checked my surroundings and when I saw her she charged at me and I got my sword ready and I charged at her as well and then we both slashed at each other. I felt blood running down my arm and when I turned to look at her I said,"You're good I'll give you that."

She turned to look at me as well and she had a cut on her cheek and said,"So are you, one for one and that makes us even." I glared at her and said,"Oh please I barely missed you the next one is going to be at your heart." Gina then said,"Don't get so cocky I'm just warming up."

We both took a stance and then we both charge at each other again and our swords clashed once again. We kept going at each other until we were both panting with exhaustion and we had some cuts bruises on our faces.

"Gina is not all talk and she's no pushover I'll give her that her fighting style is almost at the same level as I am," I thought to myself.

GINA'S POV

I stood there staring at her for a while and she look as if she was about to collapse from exhaustion as well.

"This girl, she wasn't like this from before when did she get this strong?" I thought to myself. I spoke up saying,"Hey(Pant) there's something about (Pant) the way you move, who taught you (Pant) how to fight like that?"

"(Pant) When I was a kid, my father taught me a thing or two (Pant) but there is someone (Pant) who taught me the old ways of fighting like a true assassin." She said through her panting. I asked her,"Who?"

"It's the silent assassin Ryumma" She said. My eyes widen in shock about what she just said.

"Ryumma? that's impossible! he died during that war with the king of evil years ago! How is he still alive?!" I shouted. She said,"To be honest with you (Pant) he's not alive but his soul still lives on that's how I was able to reach this far!" I then shouted,"That's it! Enough Talk! You're done!"

I charged at her but she was too exhausted to fight back and I was about to stab until someone grabbed my wrist and then they pull my arm away making me drop my sword in the process I looked at the man's face and it was Shadow.

"Shadow?!" We both said in unison.

"How long has he been here? was he watching us the whole time?" I thought to myself. He glared at me angrily and he then slapped across the face.

READER'S POV

My eyes widen in shock at what Shadow just did and he said,"Gina you are a complete fool when are you going to get it through your thick skull already!?" Gina eyes widen in shock and I stood there with confusion on my face and Shadow then said,"I don't love you and I never will! Don't you ever lay a finger on my (Y/n) ever again!"

"Shadow..." I said as I blushed at what he just said. Shadow turned to look at me and said,"(Y/n) are you OK?" I said,"A bit tired and I got a few cuts and bruises but I'm all right." Shadow smiled and said,"Good, come on let's get you out of here so I can patch you up."

He said as he picked me up bridal style he was about to teleport until Gina said,"Wait Shadow! you can't possibly be in love with her she's a light dweller and you're from the darkness just like us imagine what would happen if dad found out about this his orders were to kill all of the assassins and that hero of hyrule!-"

"Shut up! I don't care about any of that stuff any more you can do whatever you like to that hero but leave (Y/n) alone." Shadow said in angry tone. She then said,"But Shadow you love me! don't you?"

He turned to look at her angrily and said,"Screw you." He then said to me," Hang on tight." I wrapped my arms around his neck and then black smoke surrounded us and then he teleported us back to where we first met.

GINA'S POV

"Screw you," Shadow said. He looked away from me and then I heard him talking to (Y/n) and then they both disappeared. I dropped down to my knees with shock on my face and I started to cry.

READER'S POV

I held onto Shadow tightly not wanting to let go. I opened my eyes sightly and I realised I was sitting on Shadow's lap and he had his face buried at the crook of my neck causing me to blush a little. I then noticed that I had a bandage on my arm and I felt my cheeks the cuts and bruises that had from before were gone.

I tried to move but Shadow held onto my waist tightly not wanting to let me go and he then looked at me and said,"I'm so sorry that you had to fight her I would've stopped her sooner but I thought you could take of yourself but I was wrong."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and he nuzzled his head on my shoulder and I said,"It's OK Shadow, I understand." I said as I stroked his hair and he then said,"Please, stay with me a little longer I can't stay away from you more than a second."

I smiled and said,"Of course, I think Link and Midna can take of themselves a bit longer." I said as I held him tighter and he then buried his face on my neck again.

"Shadow I'm not sure what's going on with you but you were always were the secretive type and that's why I love you." I thought to myself.
