READER'S POV

I woke up this morning and I made breakfast for Link and Uncle Bill. After we finished eating our breakfast Link and I fed Epona and Diablo some hay. Once they were finished we were about to leave until Uncle Bill came over to me and said,"Hey (Y/N), if you see Mary, Tell her I said drop dead and leave my wee niece alone."

"I will uncle Bill and besides I'm planning on checking up on the ranch anyway to make sure none of those creatures have destroyed it." I said. Uncle Bill ruffled my hair and said,"That's my wee girl."

Uncle Bill looked over at Link and said,"And as for you Link, You take care of her and make sure you don't let her out of your sight." Link then said,"All right Bill, you have my word." Uncle Bill stood back and then we kicked our horses side and then we galloped off. Link said,"Hey do you know where the Langyru Province is?"

"Yeah I do, there's a large lake that's next to castle town and the spring is at the bottom it shouldn't be too hard to find I know the way." I said. Link smirked and said,"Well lead on then."

We reached the stone bridge and then we crossed but there was some boulders in the way. I noticed Link getting his bow and arrow out and he attached a bomb on it and then he shot at it making them explode. Suddenly we saw a Black-red portal above us and then the long part on the bridge turned into little black squares and then it was sent into the portal. After it disappeared three shadow beasts appeared.

Link went over to them and then he killed them. After Link got rid of them their bodies turned into back squares and then a green-black portal appeared. Link got back onto Epona and then we continued to reach the curtain of twilight. On the way there we did ran into some enemies but eventually we made it in one piece. We dismounted our horses and then we walked over to it and then Midna came out of Link's shadow and said,"Ah, we're finally here."

"There's only one Fused Shadow left... ...So this is the last of the twilight you'll see, I guess. Whether or not you two accomplish your final task and survive is up to you... Eee hee! So what will you do?"

Midna went back into Link's shadow and when we were about to go into the curtain of twilight but I grabbed Link's shoulder and I said to him,"Link, Midna is acting a bit weird."

Link then said,"Yeah I know, ever since we got the second fused shadow she's been acting a bit differently." I then said,"And Link there's something you should know." Link looked at me and asked me,"What is it?" I said,"My ranch is on the other side of the twilight and remember, there's an assassin just like me he is known as the assassin hunter so watch out for him, OK."

Link then asked me,"Why do I need to keep an eye out for him?" I said,"Because he might have the answers to my questions and he might know something about the creed that I keep hearing about."

"All right and lead the way (Y/N)." Link said to me. Midna came out of Link's shadow and then she went through the curtain of twilight and then a large hand came out and it grabbed both me and Link into the twilight.

SHADOW'S POV

I followed (Y/N) and Link and then I saw Midna and she grabbed the both of them into the twilight. I heard Midna say something about getting the last fused shadow but I also remembered that it's hidden away in the water temple in Lake Hylia so how are they going to get it with out drowning?

LINK'S POV

(Y/N) and I woke up and then we transformed into our wolf forms. Midna landed onto my back and said,"All right then, I guess I'll have to help you two! But what a shame that this is the last twilight... I had become so fond of seeing it covering this world... Or is it really the last you'll see? Eee hee! So shall we get going?"

(Y/N) looked at Midna with annoyed look on her face but I already know that she was still suspicious of her and was right Midna is acting oddly I think we better keep an eye on her just in case.

I said to (Y/n)"Right, we better get going lead the way (Y/N)." She then said,"You got it." (Y/N) got in front of me and then I began to follow her. (Y/N) then found something on the ground and said to me,"Hey Link, doesn't this leg pouch look a bit familiar to you?"

I went over to her and then we both began to sniff at it then we remembered this smell it was llia's scent Colin was right those creatures did take her somewhere else but where? Midna then said,"You two smell the girl, don't you? I can tell by the look on your faces. Well, good. It's another clue, then. But this scent could be quite old... I wonder is she is still all right? Eee hee!"

After Midna said that (Y/N) looked at her angrily and then she started to growl at her and shouted,"What is there to laugh about?! You won't be laughing when I dig my fangs into you!"

I said,"(Y/N) calm down! right we've got other things to deal with." (Y/n) then said,"All right, All right, I'm sorry I hate it when she-"

MIDNA'S POV

When I sitting on Link's back I keep hearing him and (Y/N) barking at each other and I said,"OK when you two are finished braking at each other can you please get a move on." Suddenly, (Y/N) was about to bite me and that made me fall off Link's back and I landed on the dirt.

READER'S POV

"Pfft! (Laughs)" I burst out laughing at what I did. Link shook his head and said,"(Y/N) really?"

"Oh come on that was funny, ha ha ha ha! (Sighs) let's get a move on." I said and then Midna got back onto Link's back. I continued on the path and then we finally reached the next part of Hyrule field. I noticed Link was having a look around and then Midna said,"Hey, haven't we seen this castle before? Eee hee hee! So, we finally made it back here! Well, only a little farther, so hang in there! Or so I'd like to say, but... All right, then... Let's get started."

I looked around and said,"She's right, this path leads to castle town...my home." Link looked at me and said,"Right I forgot about you live here."

"Look over there!" I shouted. I saw the ranch and I ran over to it as fast as I could.

LINK'S POV

(Y/N) started to run off somewhere so I quickly followed her and then she came to a stop and I saw a house and a burned down barn which looked as if it was destroyed a long time ago.

I asked her,"(Y/N), what is this place? do you know it?" She smiled and said,"I do it's my ranch." I was shocked at this and I said,"What?!" She looked back at me and said,"It's true this used to be my home I remember it too well."

She began to walk about and she was looking around the place and said,"I remember I used to sit on the fence and watch my dad tame a wild horse and he once told me it's called horse whispering. I also remembered I used to sit on that bench with my mother while she used to tell me some stories about the assassins and some fairy tales."

She went up to a banner that was supporting the roof of the house and said,"This where my parents used to measure my height when I was little." (Y/N) went over to the burnt barn and she said,"This... is where my parents died, when they saw the fire my dad went in and then my mother followed after him so they could get the animals but then the roof collapsed and they didn't make it."

"Oh (Y/N) I'm so sorry but I promise you here and now that I will help you get your ranch back no matter what." I said with determination. (Y/N) moved her head underneath my chin and she then said,"Thank you Link." I moved my head down to hers so that we were nuzzling each other.

READER'S POV

We stopped nuzzling at each other and then we continued to follow IIia's scent.
