LINK'S POV

(Y/N) and I entered the room and it was pitch black and we both heard some really deep breaths and when we looked at the creature it had some chains on both wrists and ankles and it also had something on it's head. (Y/N) gripped my tunic and said,"Link, you don't think that large creature is Darbus by any chance?"

"One way to find out come on and stay close." I said. We both got closer to it and then something was shining on it's forehead and then the creature's eyes turned red and then the creature roared at us really loud and I said,"Yeah, it's Darbus all right and he's not happy."

Darbus looked at it's hands and feet and he realised he was chained. Suddenly, his body started to turn into flames and then he broke the chains and roared at us. (Y/n) sweat dropped and said,"OK, Link do you have any ideas how can we defeat this thing?" I said,"Well, one thing for sure we can't hit him with a direct hit on his body, Watch out!"

READER'S POV

Darbus was about to strike me but then Link shoved me out of the way and he landed on top of me and I said,"Man, for a big guy he sure is fast." Link said,"You've got that right and by the way I like this position." I glared at him and shouted,"STOP JOKING AROUND AND GET OFF ME!!"

Link got off me quickly and then I got up and I looked at Darbus's head and I said to Link,"Link, I've got an idea!" Link said,"What is it?" I said,"That thing on Darbus's head must be his weak spot and see those green things on the ground over there they're the same ones that are magnetic to our iron boots."

Link understood what I was telling him. He said,"I get you now! One of us will use an arrow on Durbus's head while the other uses their iron boots and grabs the chain on his foot and that will make him fall, sounds like an idea (Y/N)" I smirked and said,"Thanks! Now use your arrows on his head I'll get behind him and use my iron boots on the magnets and I'll grab one of his chains! Now hurry!"

I ran as fast as I could so I can get behind him and then I saw Link shoot an arrow on his head and I quickly grabbed on of his chains and I held onto it really tightly and then Darbus fell. I quickly let go of his chain and when I got to the front Link was already attacking his weak spot and I quickly drew my sword and then I also started to attack Darbus's weak spot.

Darbus got up and Link and I quickly got away from him. Darbus got back up on his feet and then Link shot an arrow on his head and I quickly got behind him and I grabbed onto his chain and I pulled it backwards and then he fell down again.

I let go of his chain and then Link and I started to attack his head again and then Darbus got up and Link shot an arrow at his head. Like last time I grabbed a chain and I pulled it backwards and then darbus fell to the ground. I shouted at Link,"Link! He's weakened! Now's your chance!"

Link dashed at him and then he used the finishing blow on him and then darbus was screaming out in pain and he swung his arms about and then the red Diamond vanished and Darbus stood there for a second and then black squares came off him and then darbus shrunk and landed flat on his belly after he collapsed. The black squares formed another fused shadow and then I caught it. Midna came out of Link's shadow and said,"Eee hee hee! Well done!"

Midna took the fused shadow and she then said,"Now we have two Fused Shadows... Hmm... You know, you two have been very helpful so far, so as a reward, I'll tell you an interesting story."

I said,"Tell us." Midna then said,"Zant. That's the name of the King of Darkness who cast this pall of shadows over your world. He's very strong. You two would be nothing to him in your current state... But Zant will never be my king! I have nothing but scorn for his supposed strength. Not that your Zelda is much better... It stills appalls me that me that this world of light is controlled by that princess. A carefree youth, a life of luxury... How does that teach duty? But I guess I shouldn't begrudge her the circumstances of her life. She didn't choose it, after all. And I would never wish harm on her... No, as long as I get my hands on the Fused Shadows, I'll be just fine."

"Midna, I guess she does have a kind heart well only at times like this anyway." I thought to myself. Midna floated away from us and then she created a portal and said,"Well, just one more left... Shall we? Eee hee hee!" Darbus got up and said,"Unngh... Urrgh... ...Hmm? What am I doing here? Unngh... My head, it aches..."

I whispered to Link,"Gee after all of that, he doesn't even remember destroying the mines and us." Link chuckled a little and said,"Yeah, let's get out of here before he finds out that we're the ones who saved him." Link and I walked to the portal and then we were both teleported.

GINA'S POV

Looks like I was wrong about that girl she's tougher than she looks and so does that hero too. I better let Zant know about this and if Midna does get all of the Fused Shadows that would mean that Twilight princess will take back her throne for good. They better think of something on how they are going to get the last fused shadow because only one of them can enter the water temple in Lake Hylia.
