READER'S POV

Link and I went through the door and once we got into the other room the gate closed behind us. From a distance I saw the guard so Link and I walked towards him and then Link puts his Iron boots on.

I was about to follow Link until the guard shouted,"Whoa... Humans?! What business does two humans have coming here?! None! No business! This is a forbidden place! I will protect the treasures from you two!"

The guard jumped upwards and then the goron landed onto the platform and the chains broke leaving Link on the platform with him and I'm stuck at the top.

I looked down and shouted,"LINK!" Link up to me and said,"Don't worry! I'm fine! just stay where you are! I'll be back up there once I've dealt with this guy!"

"Link! Are you out of your mind! that guy is twice the size than the other gorons! You'll never be able to defeat him!" I shouted. Link then shouted back,"Don't worry I'll be fine!"

LINK'S POV

I drew my sword and then the goron bumped his iron fists together and then he came walking towards me and then once he raised his left fist I used my spin attack on his stomach and then he rolled himself into a ball and he was about to charge at me but I grabbed him in time and I threw him off the ledge and then he began to jump up and down whenever he hits the lava.

The goron then raised both of his fists and I used my spin attack again and like last time he rolled into a ball and then I grabbed him and I threw the guard into the lava and he bounced up and down when he was in the lava. The goron landed onto the platform again and he raised his fist and I then used my spin attack on him and then he rolled himself into a ball and I grabbed him and I threw him into the lava for the third time. Once he came out of the lava his helmet came off and he landed flat on his belly that meant he was defeated.

The guard sat up and said,"Ugh... That...hurt a lot. Who knew that humans were capable of such feats of strength..."

The guard sat up and said,"...Uh...Maybe...you two are...going to see the patriarch of our tribe?"

"Yes we are and one of the goron elders said that (Y/N) and I can use the weapons that the assassin ancestors and the hero of old to help us reach Darbus." I explained. The guard understood this and said,"...Ah! So THAT is why you two are here! In that case, take the weapons of the hero of the past and the assassin ancestor... But in exchange, you two must save the patriarch of our tribe!"

Once the guard finished talking to me the lava began to rise and once it reach to where (Y/N) was, she came running towards me and then she hugged me. (Y/N) said,"Link! Thank goodness you're all right."

I blushed and said,"I'm...OK, but the guard is going to have some burns for awhile after jumping in and out of the lava." (Y/n) looked at me and sad,"You didn't?"

I smirked and said,"Yeah I threw him into the lava about three times and eventually he gave in and I explained to him why we were here in the first place." She smiled and said,"That's good news."

I noticed that she was still hugging me. I said,"Um, (Y/N), you can let go of me now." She blushed bright red and said,"Oops sorry." She let go of me and then both gates that were blocking the doors finally opened and the guard said to us,"With skills like yours, even the patriarch can be brought back to his senses... Take the hero's weapon and the assassin's weapon and save our patriarch!"

We nodded our heads and we then walked past him and we went through the door and Link and I were in the other room. Once we were in the room there was a chest so Link opened it and the chest had the Hero's bow and it also had a crossbow.

Link looked at the crossbow and said,"Hey (Y/N), looks like the crossbow once belonged to your ancestors." I said,"You're right Link, this crossbow has initials on it."

"Does it say who it once belonged to?" I asked her. (Y/N) looked at the crossbow's initials and she said,"This used to belonged to Ezio Auditore da Firenze."

"Ezio Audi-what?" I said with confusion. (Y/n) giggled and said,"Auditore, he was also an assassin like me once and anyway let's get going we don't want to make Darbus wait any longer."

I nodded my head for a yes and when I turned around the bridge was held up by some ropes so I used the bow and arrows and it hit the ropes and then it fell.

READER'S POV

We walked across the bridge and then I saw another fire worm and I used my crossbow on it and then it fell off the ceiling. Once the fire worm was dead we walked into a large hall and when I looked at the statues they were the same ones that we saw from earlier so we carefully walked past them and then we were about to move the statue out of the road until a red light came on so I used my cross on it before it struck Link and then it died but then some more of the statues came on so Link and I used our arrows and then they died.

I said,"Sometimes I keep thinking there's some kind of evil spirit possessing these things." (Y/n) said,"I agree with you there."

After Link and I finished talking we went into another room and there was another Goron elder. The elder said to us,"Ah! You two are here at last! I heard that you two might pay a visit, young humans. I am farsighted in all things. Here you go...the last key shard! Combine all three shards."

The elder gave us the last key shard and then they combined all together and then they formed into the boss's key. The elder then said to us,"If you two use that key, you can open the room where Darbus, the tribal patriarch, is being held. Who knows how powerful Darbus is in his new grotesque form... but I suppose I should trust your powers, considering you two came this far... Hurry, now! To the patriarch's room!"

After we finished getting the last key shard, Link and I left the room and then we headed back into the room we came in and then Link and I moved the statue that we tried to move from earlier before it attacked us and then we went through the door.

Once we were in the other room I looked closely at the door that was across from where we were and there was another diamond like the same one we saw from earlier and on the ceiling there some of that magnetic material. Link and I used our arrows to get rid of the fire worms that were above us and then Link rolled and then the fence fell down and we saw some more of the fire worms that were on the pillar that was above the platform.

Once we jumped onto the pillar we then saw some more fire lizards so Link used some of his arrows on it tail. Once he was finished attacking the lizard we jumped onto another pillar and then another one until we reach the ledge. Once we were at the gate I looked up and there was another fire lizard.

I said to Link,"We better deal with that Lizard first before we activate the magnet."

He nodded his head and then we both used our arrows on it's tail and eventually it died. We both walked to the switch and then Link puts his Iron boots on and then the magnet was activated and he was pulled onto the ceiling and then he walked towards the diamond and he shot his arrow at it and then the gates opened.

Link took off his boots and then he landed on his feet and then we both went through the door. Once we were in the other room there was another magnet so I shot an arrow at the rope that was holding onto the bridge and once it fell we crossed it and then we both saw another switch to I put my iron boots on and then the magnet was activated and then Link and I got pulled onto the magnet and then it stopped and then we got off it and then we went through the door.

Once we were through we saw some creatures that were in the water so we finished them off and after we did that we reached to the other side and then Link shot an arrow at the diamond that was above us and then the gates opened.

Once we walked through the gates we saw the statues from before so we both shot our arrows at their eyes and then they died. We both went through the door and we saw some of the boar riders and the archers again.

TIME SKIP... (A/N OK, I'm not gonna bother explaining what's going to happen next so for some of you who have already played Twilight princess then you already know what happens once you get the hero's bow and the last key shard.)

After we defeated some of the enemies Link and I finally reached the boss's lair. I was about to use the key to the boss's lair but then Link grabbed my wrist and said,"Be careful, there's a chance that this fused shadow might have made Darbus a lot stronger."

"I already know what happens when someone or something touches the fused shadow, don't worry, I'm not planning on dying today." I said with a smile.Link smiled at me and then we both used the key that the three elders gave us and then the door opened we both took a deep breath and then we entered the room.
