LINK'S POV

I headed up to the mountain and I climbed up the cliff and there was a goron. He shouted,"Ah! No humans allowed! These lands ahead belong to the Goron tribe! The elder said no humans may pass!" He curled up into a ball and then he rolled right towards me. I was ready to catch him but he was too strong and I was thrown off the cliff and I landed on my back.After the goron tackled me he said,"A weak spirit is no match for the might of the gorons! Do you understand me, human? Then away with you!"

He walked away from the ledge and then I headed back to the village. When I got back I saw Renado he said,"Ah, how fortunate you are in one piece! I saw you heading up the mountain trail, so I got worried. Are you trying to reach the Gorons of Death Mountain? It it far too dangerous, Link!"

I said,"I know, (Y/N) warned me about them" Renado then said,"They recognize only strength! A normal person could never persuade them..." Renado thought for a moment and said,"But...I do know one person who was able to best them and earn their trust..." 

"Really who?" I asked him.

 He said,"His name is Bo. You may know him as the mayor of your hometown, Ordon. Please, go to him. And while you are there, please let him know that the children are safe."

"Mayor Bo beaten the gorons at their level, how is that possible?" I thought to myself.

Renado then said,"Of course, getting them back would be best...but as (Y/N) said, we could not keep them safe from the monsters on the road without a horse and cart... Please... Return to Ordon and inform the parents that their children are free from harm. Give them my word." I was gonna head back to the village but how are (Y/N) and I are going to get over the gate last time we went under it.

"HEY LINK!" I heard (Y/N) shout my name. She ran over to me and said,"How did it go with the Gorons?" I said,"Not great, just as you said, they are strong" She asked me,"So what are we gonna do?" I said to her,"Reando said there is someone who did went up against their strength"

"Really who?" She asked. I said,"It's mayor bo" "I know." (Y/N) said.

"You know?" I said with a shocked tone. SHe smiled and said,"Yeah my uncle told me about someone who beaten the goron's strength he told me that it was Bo"

I shrugged my shoulders and said,"Whatever, anyway, how are we gonna get back to Ordon? The gate is locked the only time when we go here is when we went under the gate."I said.

"You're right, if only Epona was here right about now." (Y/N) said. Suddenly we heard galloping in the distance, we both turned around and it WAS Epona and there was another one that was with her it was a black Frisian horse with long feathers on it.

"Me and my big mouth", (Y/N) said. Epona and the black horse came charging at us luckily we both go out of the way in time.

READER'S POV

After we both got out of the horse's way Link jumped onto Epona's back but she freaked out and she was galloping like mad. But the other one was the same it was about to run away but I caught it's reins in time but it didn't like me that very well.

"Whoa boy! easy! shhhh!" I said to calm him down. Then he started to calm down a little and I petted his head and then he finally calmed down.

"Good boy, where did you come?" I looked at his saddle and I didn't recognize it I guess he was captured and then he ran off with Epona. I turned around to see how Link was doing and he finally got Epona to calm down.

"Nice work Link" I said. Link smirked and said,"You too, (Y/N), it looks like that one has calmed down too." I petted the black horse's head and said,"You're forgetting I once lived on a ranch and my father showed me how to calm the horses down I'm not too sure where this guy came from but he sure is one beautiful Frisian that's for sure.

I got on his back and the Midna came out of Link's shadow and said,"Hmm... You two are not too shabby a wrangler after all! Won't this make getting back to your town a lot easier? Now go and finish your errand so we can get back! Get a move on!" she then headed back into Link's shadow.

I shook my head and said,"Bossy as usual, but she's right though we better hurry and find out how Bo beaten the Gorons." We made our horses go for a canter and then they jumped over the fence and we headed straight back to Ordon Village. When we were back in Faron woods Link asked me,"Hey (Y/N), what are you going to name him?"

I thought for a moment and said,"I've been thinking about that for quite some time now, I think I'll name him, Diablo"

"Diablo?" Link asked me. I nodded my head and said,"yeah, my father once told me a story about a horse that's also named Diablo he said, he was the fastest horse in Hyrule so that's what I'm going to name him Diablo, do you like that name, boy?"

Diablo neighed. I smiled and said,"(Laughs) I'll take that as a yes". We crossed the bridge and then we saw the golden wolf and the grey wolf again. We got our weapons ready and they charged at us like last time.

LINK'S POV

I got up and the wolf turned into the ancient soldier like last time. He said,"We meet again. You have a little more of the look of a hero than you did before... Do you feel ready to earn your next skill?" I nodded my head for a yes and then he said,"Very well... But before we begin, I must test you to ensure you have mastered the last skill I taught you...the ending blow. Now then, come at me!"

I attacked him and then I used the ending blow on his chest. He got back up and he said,"Excellent. It appears you are certainly capable of performing my lost art. Very well. My second skill is... The shield attack! Let it be hewn into your mind!"

After he said that I got ready to learn the shield attack. Before we began the training he said,"No matter how well-tempered a blade is, if a foe is clad in Armour and bears a shield, the sword will do no harm. When facing such a foe, you must focus on the enemy and thrust your right arm forward to thrust you shield against the defenses of your enemy. Try it on me , you have learnt much, so I am sure you will know the moment when you can do a shield attack!"

We clashed our blades and then we both stood at a fighting stance and then I thrust my shield forwards and then I attacked him.

He then said,"Excellent! Open a hole in your enemy's defenses and use your sword to strike without hesitation!"

He then said,"The shield attack I have taught you can also be use to repel an enemy's projectile attacks. Would you practice? Then repel my magical attack with your shield attack!" I got my shield ready and then he used his magic to create a ball and then he threw it at me and then I used the shield attack and then I repelled his attack back towards him.

He said,"Perfect! When your enemies assail you with projectiles, this is how you will defeat them with ease! Done! you have learned the second of my hidden skills, the shield attack!"

I demonstrated the shield attack and then I sheathed my blade. He then said,"But I have five more secrets to teach you...in time. The path to becoming the true hero is a long one, but once you have grasped all of the hidden skills, you shall be worthy of walking it. You must persist on the lonely path of the sword to obtain true courage and earn the strength to conquer the great evils of the world! Do not forget your discipline with the blade before we meet again!"

READER'S POV

I woke up and I saw the grey wolf again and then he transformed into Ryuuma. He said,"We meet again. You have a little more of the look of an assassin than you did before... Do you feel ready to earn your next skill?"

"Yes I do, Ryuuma" I said with a smile. He said,"Very well... But before we begin, I must test you to ensure you have mastered the last skill I taught you...the assassinations. Now then, come at me!"

Ryuuma create two clones and then I demonstrated the assassinations he taught me last time.

He nodded his head with an impressed look on his face and said,"Excellent. It appears you are certainly capable of performing my lost art. Very well. My second skill is... The counter attack! Remember this."

Ryuuma then said to me,"If the foe is stronger than you then you must concentrate on their attack wait for the right moment to counteract it and then attack them multiple times if you can. Try it on me, Now come at me!" I waited for him to attack and when he did I blocked his hidden blade and then I used my foot to trip him and then he fell on his back and then I had my hidden bade close to his throat.

"Excellent! you are learning a lot quicker than I thought". I got off him an then he gave me a sword and then he said,"You can't keep relying on the hidden blades all the time the might come a time when you relay on them too much and they'll break which is why you need to use a sword when fighting against an enemy."

"True, but to be honest I'm not very good at using swords but I will do my best." I said to Ryuuma. He charged at me again and then he attacked me, Luckily I blocked it in time and then I used my hidden blade on his stomach and then backed away from me.

"Very good, When your strongest foes attack you, remember to block and then counter attack them." After I finished using the sword, it disappeared into dust and then Ryuuma said,"But I have five more secrets to teach you...in time. The path to becoming the true Assassin is a long one, but once you have grasped all of the hidden skills, you shall be worthy of walking it. You must persist on the lonely path of the sword to obtain true courage and earn the strength to conquer the great evils of the world! Do not forget your discipline with the blade before we meet again!"
