READER'S POV

I was lying next to Black Wolf until I saw something appearing in the sky and it was the bridge looks like Link has finally found it. I tried to get up but Black wolf still had his head on top of me.

I said,"Um black wolf can you get off now? Link's back" Black wolf looked a bit disappointed and he said,"oh man, already? all right then I'll see you around." We both got up and before I ran off to Link I said to black wolf,"Hey next time when you're around make sure you howl for next time okay?"

"hmpf, sure thing and remember my howl sounds like this" he then howled so that I can remember what it sounds like. I smiled and said,"OK I'll remember that howl, see you later black wolf."

I ran off and when I got to the bridge Link and Midna got back and then Midna said,"See! Just as I thought... Eee hee! So, isn't the power of twilight amazing? Call me if you need the power again. It should help you find what we're looking for, don't you think? All right! Let's keep going!"

We ran across the bridge and we defeated some of the enemies and then we reached the gate Midna said,"Huh... What are they doing there? This is a pretty elaborate gate... What are they trying to keep in?...Or out. I bet it'll be worth while to dig in..."

Midna was right, they are trying to keep something in I took another sniff at the ground and it was definitely the kid's scent that's heading into Kakariko village.

We dug underneath the gate and then we defeated the two guards that were guarding the village. When we got there the place was deserted, I didn't see any spirits around here at all. We about to have a look around but there were three shadow beasts but we managed to defeat them and then we looked at the water fall and there was this light that was hovering above the water fall.

It said,"To the hero...and the assassin...who was transformed into a blue-eyed beast...and a (E/C)-eyed beast...in the realm of shadows... In twilight... This way..."

Link and I headed towards the light and it then said,"...I am...a spirit...of light... Hero...chosen by the gods...Assassin...chosen by her ancestors...Look for..my light.. Gather the light stolen by the shadows...into this..."

The light spirit gave a vessel of light so we can gather the tears like what we did in Faron woods.

Before we started to look for the tears the light spirit said,"...The insects of darkness... They are the form taken...by the evil that attached itself...to my scattered light... In this shadowy twilight...the shadow insects are invisible, much as the people from your light world are... With the last of my power... let me mark your map...with the locations...of the tears that have turned into...shadow insects... But be careful... The darkness...now hunts you..."

LINK'S POV

After we spoke to the light spirit, we were about to look for the insects but then I looked up and I saw a spirit and he said,"Cripes! How the heck am I supposed to babysit someone else's little brats when I oughta be savin' myself?!"

"Link he said someone else's kids, you know what that means?" (Y/N) said. Link thought the same thing and said,"Yeah there might be a chance that Colin and the others might be in there come on we gotta find a way in" I said,"actually, there is a way in but it's not the front door come on, follow me"

I followed (Y/N) and then we were at a broken cart and then we started to leap from one platform and then we were on the roof. (Y/N) pointed at a hole and when we stood on the unstable part of the roof it broke and we were inside the building. Once we were inside there were a few spirits and then (Y/N) and I used our senses and it was the Ordon kids. We both stood there and we listened to what they were talking about.

The guy with the helmet said,"Cripes! I don't see those black brutes anywhere... They've gotta be hidin' somewhere, waitin' for their helpless little prey to come out! then they'll FEAST!"

The guy with the brown hair said,"We are safe as long as we remain in here, child. Be at ease."

"Oh aye, I wonder if those ugly monsters oot there agree with ya" said the guy with the black apron on. The guy with the helmet said,"Bill's right, they sure didn't seem impressed by my bombs! How long do you think we can hold this sanctuary against beasts that strong, huh?"

Talo gripped the blacksimth's sleeve and the guy continued to say,"Once they attack, it's OVER!"

"Remember the lady from the general store? Just one of those things attack her, and a whole gang from town went to save her! And what happened? She was already gone, and there were TWO monsters waitin'! ...You connectin' the dots? That means that if we get attacked by them, then we'll be...-"

"BARNES!" the brown haired guy shouted. Beth then started to cry and the guy with the brown hair glared at Barnes, I think he called him, angrily. Barnes then fell to the floor. He then said,"Look, Renado... All I mean to say is that it's risky here, too! Ain't you got some place we can hide?"

Renado said,"There is...a cellar." Barnes then crawled to him quickly and he said,"WHAAT?! You've got a CELLAR?! Where's the entrance, man?"

Renado said,"The entrance to the cellar is designed to open when all of the candles have been lit..." Barnes was about to light the candles until the girl with the black hair said,"...I...would not do that."

"When Father instructed me to secure the cellar, I saw insects like the beasts outside..." Barnes then crawled back to the window really quickly, what a scary cat. Beth was still crying and Colin said,"Don't cry, Beth! It'll be OK!" but Beth turned away from him. He then said to her,"(Y/N) and Link is coming to save us all!"

Beth stopped crying, Talo was surprised, the girl with the black hair looked at him with confusion, Renado was surprised to hear about us and Barnes was confused as well. Colin then said,"...I can feel it!"

"(Y/N)?...is coming?" the blacksmith said. Midna then said,"These kids knew you two would come and save them! What heroes! How sad, to be right in front of someone and not be noticed at all... Eee hee hee! You two are chosen by the gods, and only that keeps you two from turning into spirits, or worse, into a dark monster, when you enter twilight And no one knows what you two have done... You two may be doomed to toil in obscurity forever... and as for you Link, You're the type to worry about everything, I can tell...but don't fret over Princess Zelda! She chose this state of affairs, after all..."

READER'S POV

Ohh that Midna, she can be so ignorant, doesn't she even care for our world? or even what Princess Zelda feels about all of this? She didn't have much of a choice she only did it to protect the people of Hyrule. Midna then said,"Anyway, what's with having to light candles to get into the basement?! Not very subtle, is it... So, what are you going to do now? My lonely little heroes... Eee hee!"

I said,"Looks like we're gonna have to light the candles Link go ahead and do that will ya?" Link glared at me and said,"Hey! who said that I should be the one to do it?"

I ignored Link and then I went towards my uncle. I listened to what he was saying,"(Y/N), My niece...she's coming back here to Kakariko village!"

"Take it easy Bill, you don't really have the time to celebrate we've got other things to worry about." Renado said. "It's too bad you can't see me uncle bill, but for now you have to wait until Link and I have dealt with the twilight here." I thought to myself.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard something opening behind me and it was the statue of the Eldin spirit looks like Link has lit all of the candles. We were about to leave until we heard Renado saying,"What sorcery is this?! The entrance to the cellar opening on its own... Could those beasts have engineered even this?".

After we heard what Renado was saying Link and I headed inside the cellar. When we were inside there were three insects and we managed to defeat them and we got the tears. We were having a look around then we both looked up and Midna said,"...How about that? Looks like you two can climb the scaffolding..." Link and I started to leap from one beam to the other and then we were in a graveyard. We looked around a little and then we saw one of the insects and I defeated it in time before it could dig into the earth.

Once we got the tear we headed back into the village and then I said,"OK let's split up and search for the other insects it might be a bit quicker this way" Link then said,"You're right,(Y/N), you can search around the village and I'll head up to that mountain meet me up there once you're finished here." Link said.

I then said,"OK Link, good luck." Link then dashed off to the mountain while I headed inside the general store.

I was able to find a tunnel that leads inside the store and then I crawled through it and then I was inside. When I was inside the store I heard the insect and it was right above me so I climbed up the platform and there it was. I attacked it and then I got the and I crawled back through the tunnel and then I was back outside.

When I was outside, there was a hill that was next to the store I went up to the ledge and I noticed there was a sign and it said,'DANGER! Do not jump across from here! (Hotel accepts no responsibility for accidents.) Elden Inn'.

It didn't matter to me, so I just jumped across anyway. When I reached the roof of the hotel I went inside the window and then I smelled an enemy nearby and there was an insect inside the fire place. so I grabbed a stick from the fire place, I then jumped onto the table and I lit one end of the stick and then I threw the stick in the fire place and this made the insect jump out of the chimney.

I attacked it and a tear came out of it's shell and I got the tear. When I went through to the other room I saw two enemies and I ran up to one of them and I killed it and I did the same with the other one. After I defeated the two enemies I then headed up stairs and I saw another dark insect. I banged against the wall and it started to fly away from me but I managed to catch it in time.

After I collected the tear I headed back outside and I headed into one of the abandoned buildings and when I was inside at first I couldn't see the insect but then I heard it, it was stuck underneath the crate so I moved the box and I killed it before it could escape. After I got rid of the insect I headed back outside.

I headed inside Barnes shop and I smelled an enemy nearby and it was definitely the insect's scent all right. I headed up stairs and I banged against the wardrobe and I insect came flying out of it and then I got rid of it.

After I collected the tear I headed back outside and then I headed to the top of the hill and I saw one of the insects heading inside of Barnes's storage house.

"Oh boy, I better be careful while I'm in there or else I might be blown to bits" I thought to myself. I crawled through the tunnel and I was inside the storage house. I heard the insects but they were in the chimney so I didn't have much of a choice but to light the fire place.

Once I did that three of the insects came flying out of the chimney but they were on fire and they lit up Barnes's bombs and the were gonna blow at any second so I dashed out of there as fast as I could. When I got out I ran as far away from the storage house before it exploded. After the house was destroyed I went over to it and I collected the tears. I was about to head inside the abandoned building until I heard howling coming from the mountain and it was Link's howl.

I quickly dealt with the insect and I dashed to the mountain as fast as I could. When I got there I saw a spirit up hill and the ladder was destroyed, what was that all about I thought to myself. I leaped from the rock and onto the larger one and then I made it to the ledge. I used my senses and it was a Goran.

he said,"Ugh... Why do I have to stand guard... The ladder is destroyed, so it is not like any humans will come up... And what is with the elders? If we have a problem the humans can help with, we should ask. It is better than suffering for the sake of pride."

It's a good thing these guys can't see me or Link that well, if they did they would've squashed us like pancakes. I continued to look for Link and then I finally found him and he was able to kill one of the insects and then he stood next to some kind of rock.

I said,"Hey Link, what are you doing? I thought you were looking for the two remaining insects." 

"I was but I found this thing remember what the ancient hero and Ryuuma said to us 'search for the statues that howl with the sound of the wind' and this statue is one of them."Link said. "Is that right? well then let's try and listen to the wind and let's try and repeat it shall we?" We both closed our eyes and we listened carefully to the sound and then we repeated it and suddenly we collapsed.

LINK'S POV

(Y/N) and I were in some kind of dreamworld and there was the golden wolf again and the grey wolf too. (Y/N) and I howled the same tune that we heard from the statues and then we all howled. After we finished the wolf song the grey wolf and the golden wolf said,"Let teachings of old pass to you... Take sword in hand and find us..." they both jumped of the cliff and then everything went black.

(Y/N) and I regained consciousness and then we looked at our map and they were both at Ordon spring but we'll worry about them later. We both continued to look around the mountain and then we were at the base of the mountain.

"This is death mountain Link be careful I've heard a lot of rumors about this place when I was little." (Y/N) said. I said,"Like what?" (Y/n) said,"They say fire rocks can come falling down from this place at any minute so if I were you I'd start looking for those two remaining insects and fast".

After (Y/N) said that we ran into four shadow beats but we did struggle a little but we managed to get rid of them. After we got rid of the shadow beasts we were about to climb a bit higher but there was another insect so we got rid of it. We were about to head upwards but there was some steam in the way so we had to wait for the right moment until it was gone and that's exactly what we did. When we got to the top we saw another Goron.

He said,"Why do I have to stand guard at a dead end at the bottom of a cliff like this... Wait a second! Have they tucked me out of the way because they think I am useless?"

"Do Gorons usually complain about standing guard?" I asked (Y/N). (Y/n) then said,"How should I know? I'm not the one who's living on death mountain".

We continued to look for the last insect until eventually we finally found it and then we defeated it and then our bodies started to glow bright blue like last time.
