READER'S POV

It had been a few years since I got together with (Link/Shadow). Our children have grown up so much and now that they know about my assassin past I can trust them to carry on my legacy. The creed and some of the Hyrule Soldiers were standing at the ready because we were about to go to war with the Templars.

(Link/Shadow) stood next to me and said,"Are you ready to go back into action?" I looked at him and said,"Yeah, I might be rusty but as long as I have you, Zoro and our kids at our side I'll be fine." I said as I pulled my hood down to cover my face. The leader of the Templars said,"We will take Hyrule castle!! Charge!!" I smirked and said,"Let's go!" Zoro then shouted,"Assassins! Protect the Princess and her kingdom with your lives!!" Zoro unsheathed his sword and we went into battle.

MODERN DAY...

I opened my eyes and I sat up from the animus wit raging headache. I rubbed my head and said,"Oh man...my head is pounding." Akira, a member of abstergo, came over to me and she said,"So what? thanks to you we were able to find the location of the Apple." I nodded my head and I got off the animus table and I got my ancestor's hidden blades.

I looked at them and I said,"Akira, do you think I'll find someone like Shadow or Link?" Akira shrugs her shoulders and said,"I don't know, maybe, my ancestor was the princess back then as well she found love back then as well." I smiled and I then said,"Well anyway, let's get going."

We headed to the scared grove and it was old battered and there was overgrown leaves. Akira said,"I wonder if this is the right place." I looked around and said,"It is the right place, I think I know where that door is." I looked up and I squinted my eyes a little and I saw that door way that my ancestor used. Suddenly I saw someone near the door. I shook my head and then he was gone.

I climbed up the broken stairs and once I got to the door I said,"Akira I found it!" Akira came over and she pulled away the weeds and the over grown branches. She looked at the symbol on the door and she said,"This is it, I know this symbol anywhere, it's the hylian symbol." Suddenly the doors opened and the time portal was there. I said,"I don't believe it, the time portal still works after all these years have passed?"

Akira then said,"I guess the time portal remained here in this world for a reason." We both walked through the time portal and we were in the temple of time. I looked around and the temple still looked exactly like how I saw it in my ancestor's memories. Akira then said,"Amazing, I can't believe this place still exists after all this time."

I then said,"Well it's like you said, it must be fate that the time portal remained in tact because we were supposed to come here." I then saw that person again and she smiled and said,"Welcome, I've been expecting you." Akira saw her and said,"Wait, isn't she? (Ancestor's name)?" I took a closer look at her and I said,"She is!" (A/n) takes off her hood and she smiled at me. I looked at her and I placed my hand on my face and I said,"I look so...youthful and pretty."

(A/n) giggled and said,"You really do remind me of myself, you and I are alike, follow me." Akira and I followed her and then we were in the assassin's hall. (A/n) said,"The last time when I came here was when I hid the apple in this very temple however, out side of the temple, the apple doesn't exist in your world unless it's been removed from here." Akira then asked her,"If that's the case then does that mean?" (A/n) turned to look at her and said,"Yes, only members of my family know about this place I told them to remove the apple from this place until the time came."

(A/n) came to a stop and said,"And now that time has come, you will be the one to use the apple, not for the templars but for the assassins, use the apple to protect those who are close to you and remember never, ever, let it fall into the hands of evil like Ganondorf and Gina, don't make the same mistakes that my father made back then, no matter what..." Her ghostly appearance suddenly vanish.

I tried to reach out for her but she was gone. Akira then said,"Whoa, I can't believe she actually spoke to us like that, tell me that I wasn't dreaming." I then said,"You weren't she was really here, but..." I looked at the door and I knew the password all too well. I looked at symbol and I took my necklace off and I placed it in the centre of the symbol. The outlines of the symbol glowed a bluish colour and then the door opened.

Once the door opened there it was the Apple of Eden. Akira and I looked at each other and she said,"It's there! Come on!" We went over to it. I was about to reach out and touch it but then it started to glow and then strange symbols appeared and it was starting to show us some history about the first civilisation and the assassins. Akira looked at the symbols and the holograms of the first civilisation and she said,"Wow! this is amazing! the apple actually recorded your ancestor's history!"

I looked at the hologram of my ancestor and shadow being in love. In some ways it kind of saddened me when I saw this. Akira then said,"Don't worry, I'm sure there's someone like Shadow out there for you." I nodded my head and said,"You're right." I then looked at the Apple and when I picked it up it stopped glowing. Suddenly someone said,"Well, well, look who's here!"

Akira and I turned to look and it was one of Gina's descendants, Ayame. Akira then said,"Oh crap! how the hell did you know that we were coming here?!" Ayame smirked and said,"I knew because I figured that your ancestor hid the Apple back in it's original place after Ganon was defeated, but it was nice of you two to open the door for me." I glared at her and I looked at the Apple. Gina then said,"Now if you don't mind I'll be taking the Apple back in my possession."

I then said,"The Apple doesn't belong to you and it never will!!" I raised my hand that was holding the Apple and then the Apple glowed brightly and it's light struck Ayame. Suddenly the world around me froze and I then felt my body being possessed by something. I said,"The hell?!" A voice said,"You've done well to make it this far, descendant of the chosen assassin, but now, there will be no more bloodshed."

I said,"Wait...this voice..are you Juno?" She said,"I am and thanks to you two for coming back here I was able to awaken since you touched the apple, I can help you." I said,"How can you help me? what am I supposed to do?" Juno then said,"You must learn more about your Ancestor's history, the last when I spoke to her it was when she locked the apple away, I showed her the history about the first Civilisation and the assassin's history, it was fate that we should meet again."

I then said,"I see, if you know something about my fate or destiny or whatever, then show me the path, I accepted my fate as an assassin a long time ago." I heard Juno chuckle and she said,"Very well, but first thing's first." I felt my arms being pulled down to the side and then my left hidden blade popped out from it's sheath. My feet started to move on their own and I said,"Hang on! what are you doing?!"

I walked towards Ayame and Juno said,"Ayame is a descendant of Gina the King of Shadow's daughter, she must be stopped again, she was the one who started that war between the assassins to begin with, once she has been stopped the path of becoming the chosen assassin will be shown the way." I looked at Ayame and said,"Do it, I hated Gina when I saw my Ancestor's history anyway." Juno then said,"So be it."

My left hand moved on it's own and the hidden blade struck in her stomach. Ayame looked at me with those dying eyes and Juno then said,"It is done, now, follow the path of becoming the chosen assassin just like your ancestor and those before her." I looked over Ayame's shoulder and I saw one of the four light spirits and it was glowing in front of me. Juno then said,"Follow this light spirit and it'll show you the way of becoming the next chosen assassin."

Juno's voice disappeared from my head and I can move my body again but the world around me was still frozen. I saw the light spirit and it said,"Follow me and bring the apple with you, assassin." I looked over my shoulder and I looked at Akira and I said,"I'm sorry, Akira, but this my choice and my fate, farewell my friend."

I looked at the light spirit and I started to follow it and my path of becoming the next chosen assassin was just the beginning...
