CHAPTER SIXTY-ONE: CELEBRATION

The song 'Another One Bites the Dust' by Queen was playing out loudly on the speakers as Ben was holding a bottle of champagne that Diego opened with a sword while the Sparrow and the Umbrella was in the living room, celebrating that they have saved the universe.

Diego sliced the top off Ben's champagne bottle.

Ohh, let's go

Ben poured some champagne in Five's glass.

Steve walks warily down the street

Sloane and Fei were both holding a glass with champagne as they were dancing.

With a brim pulled way down low

Lila wrapped her arm around Five's and Zach's shoulder and Five looked over at Natasha who was holding Luna while dancing with her.

Ain't no sound. But the sound of his feet

Lila ruffled Five's and Zach's hair with a smile.

Machine guns ready to go

Five then walked over to Natasha before he grab Luna and lifted her up in the air which 'cause her to smile.

Are you ready? Hey, are you ready for this?

The Sparrows and the Umbrellas all started dancing around the living room.

Are you hanging on the edge of your seat

Fei and Sloane smiled as they cheered with their glass.

Out of the doorway the bullets rip

Allison was standing far off the side with a bottle of champagne in her hand. She had a frown on her face.

To the sound of the beat yeah

Fei bow to Allison before she rejoin the dance floor.

Another one bites the dust

Ben was pouring the champagne bottle down his mouth as Diego gave him a bump from behind with his chest.

Another one bites the dust

Luther uncorked another bottle of champagne before he sprayed it all over.

And another one gone and another one gone

While Sloane was holding Luna, Natasha and Five was dancing together.

Hey I'm gonna get you too

Viktor was smiling to see his family having fun.

Allison and Viktor looked at each other and Allison turned around before leaving.

Zach then looked at his parents "You did a great job. And I'm proud of being your son" he said and the couple looked at him with a smile "I love you" he said "We love you too" they said "And we are proud of you too" Natasha said "I'm proud of you, buddy. Now you have the potential to be better than I ever was" Five said "I would never be as good as you dad" Zach said "You already are" Five said and the two smiled to each other.

But then Lila came over "I'm borrow Five JR." she said as she grabbed Zach's arm before pulling him with her.

Zach smiled as Lila pulled him closer to the others.

You took me for everything that I had
And kicked me out on my own

Ben poured down more champagne into Zach's glass while Diego was Luna.

Are you happy are you satisfied?
How long can you stand the heat

Ben was pouring the champagne bottle down his mouth as Diego gave him a bump from behind with his chest.

Out of the doorway the bullets rip

"Ready to live a wonderful, long and beautiful life with each other and the kids?" Five asked Natasha and she nodded "I can't wait" she said and he smiled.

Five was about to take another sip of his glass with champagne but she grabbed it "I think you had enough" she said before putting it on a small table.

And another one gone and another one gone

Natasha and Five was happy, they have saved the universe, Natasha, Zach, Five Luna, Five's his siblings and the Sparrows were all dancing together, like a real family. And now each of them, could start a new chapter of their lives, no more fighting and no more ending of the world. You felt that everything was perfect and things could now go back to normal.

Natasha and Five could finally retire and live a normal life together, raise Luna and Zach could live a normal life 'cause now everything was peaceful again 'cause the Kugelblitz were gone meaning that the universe was saved.

The sound of distant explosions booming was heard as Luther was sitting on the edge of the Academy, looking down at a book he have found in Sloane's room.

He let out a sigh as he looked up and out on the destroyed city.

"Are you avoiding me?" Sloane asked and he turned around to look at her.

"Busted" he said and she chuckled as he turned around before he jumped down.

He then cleaned his throat as he walked over to stand in front of her.

He let out a sigh as he showed her the book "My travel guide?" she asked as she looked up at him.

"I, uh, made you a new list" he said and she grabbed it "It's all your favorite Italian monuments that are still left standing, color-coded by region, of course" he said with a smile and she let out a soft chuckled "Nerd" she said with a smile.

"Well, you just saved the world. You deserve to finally see it" he said and she looked at him before looking back down at her book, flipping through the pages.

"And...I'd like to see it with you" he said and she stopped when she spotted a ring in between two pages.

She picked it up to see it was a golden ring with a moon stone.

"I, um...I made it myself. I couldn't exactly find a diamond on short notice, but the stone is moon rock. Um, I brought it back with me, and I've kind of been keeping it for a special occasion, and, well, I--" "Luther, it's beautiful" she said as she looked at him and he smiled.

He then lifted his hand and he slowly took the ring before he took her hand and slowly got down on one knee.

"Sloane, will you marry me?" he asked and she smiled before she nodded and chuckled causing Luther to smile.

Luther slid the ring on her finger and while looking at each other he got up before they kissed.

Natasha was in one of the many bedrooms when Five enter which 'cause Natasha to turn to face him.

"Is she asleep?" she asked and he nodded "Went out as a light" he said as he closed the door behind him.

"So have we really done it?" she asked "It appear so" Five said "So what now?" she asked "Well, we are gonna continue where we left off, spending time with each other" he said and she smiled.

Five let out a sigh as he sat down on the bed "Finally some rest. Finally it's over" he said and she smiled as she walked over to him "Well, you did a good job Hon, and you deserve to rest and retire" she said "Yeah" he said as he looked down at the floor.

Both then Natasha put his face in her hands before she lifted his head so he was looking at her "I'm proud of you. And I love you" she said "I love you" he said.

She smiled as she grabbed his tie before she leaned closer to him, pressing his lips against hers.

He smiled as he lifted his left hand to her right cheek while he pulled more into the kiss.

While still kissing him, she leaned forward, pushing him backward so his back hit the bed.

He put his hands on her waist before he sat up.

He pulled at his tie as she made the next move, slotting herself over his thigh while tearing her jacket off her body. He tossed his tie onto the floor, letting it fall by the bed next to her shirt before winding his hand into her light brown hair to tilt her head back.

His lips explored her throat as he pressed kisses from her jaw down to her collar bone, using his hand which had been sat on her thigh to pull her shirt to the side to expose more of her soft and pale skin. She closed her eyes, sinking further into his searing touch with her fingers threading through his dark brown hair.

Working his way up to her throat, his free hand found the back of her thigh and with a tug of her body against his own, his lips found her in a quick kiss.

She broke apart from him and dropped her hands from his hair, in a near breathless gasp. She ran her hands down his chest, finding the buttons of his blazer as she pressed his forehead against his.

She then started to pulled open his now unbuttoned blazer.

She pushed her hand underneath the back of his shirt, pulling him against her chest, with her face inches from his.

He pressed a kiss to her cheek before lifting them both off the bed, holding her close to him with one hand against her back and the other ripping the back of her thigh.

She then wrapped her legs around his waistline and he turned before lowered her onto the bed first, pressing her back against the sheets.

His hair hung messily in front of his eyes, as he kneeled above she and quickly finished unbutton her tiny shirt before she throw it off.

He brought a smile to his face as he tossed his blazer and suit to the floor, keeping his shirt on and captured her lips in a breath stealing kiss.

Diego was sitting up on the second floor, looking at the paintings that was hanging on the wall when Lila walked over to him.

"Sorry about your robot mum" Lila said "She wasn't my real one" Diego said "Okay" she said before she sighed "Sorry I lied to you about Stanley. I miss him too, you know. I liked that little shit and his wonky ears" she said and he looked at her "He deserved better" he said "Yeah, he did" she said and he looked back at the paintings.

"Do you know why I brought him to you?" she asked "Because you're a sociopath?" he said "No. Because I'm a coward" she said and he looked at her "Dropping a kid in your lap and seeing if you're reject us and run felt safer than telling you the truth" she said "Which is?" he asked "I'm pregnant, Diego" she said.

There was a few second of silence before he got up and was about to walk away but she stopped him "Diego" she said, grabbing his arm and turned him around to look at her.

"I'm pregnant" she said again and his eyes widened as he look at her knowing that she was telling the truth.

"I'll pee on whatever stick you want later, but for now, please, can you just..." she said before they both sat down and he sighed.

"My mum put a bullet in my heart. Did you know that?" she asked "Yeah. Five told me. How did you know?" he asked "Infinite Switchboard. I missed your stupid face, so I snuck in to get a glimpse of you. And instead...Thing is, I'm not gonna be very good at this...mother thing. Apples and trees. But I saw you with Stan, and you're a good dad" she said "What do you want from me, Lila?" he asked "Okay. Truth? I think you should run from me" she said and chuckled "I, um...I think I'm a bloody mess. And I think that someone who's...who never had a family is in no position to ask for one. But that's what I want. With you" she said.

There was a few second silence before he spoke up "Can I think about it?" he asked and she chuckled "Yeah. Of course" she said and he sighed.

Zach knocked on a door before he opened it and enter to see Viktor sitting on a couch "Hey, want some company?" Zach asked "Sure" Viktor said "Okay" Zach said and closed the door before he walked farther into the room.

"Hey, that was really nice of you. Kill Grace so Diego didn't have to" Viktor said "My dad hesitated which I get since Grace was the closest thing you guys had to a mother. So I took the matter into my own hands" Zach said as he was walking around the room with his hands in his pockets.

"My God. Now when I think more about. We are a weird family, aren't we?" he asked "Sorry. Yeah, I heard it as I said it" Viktor said "It's all right" Zach said as he walked over before sitting down on a chair next to the couch.

Zach took out a small knife of his before he exhales sharply as he spin the sharp edge around on his finger while putting his right leg over his left.

"What are we gonna do about Allison?" Viktor asked "We're all worried about Allison. I'm scared for you" Zach said "Seriously?" Viktor asked "Yeah" Zach said as he leaned back.

"She killed someone. I was trying to do the right thing and save Harlan's life" Viktor said "Do you know why my dad wanted this last jump to work so badly?" Zach asked "Because he's old and tired?" Viktor replied "Because my parents and I slaughtered a boardroom full of people to buy our way back here. Because that is how far my dad is ready to go, to protect and keep me, my mom, Luna and the rest of his family safe" Zach said "Shit" Viktor said.

Viktor hasn't realized just how much Five had done for them until now. He didn't know what he did so they could get back. He hasn't realized just how much Five sacrificed and lived through for them.

"I may be a kid, but I have experienced things that no other kid have" Zach said "Didn't your parents---" "They didn't like it, but if I was gonna survive, I had to be raise like that, lucky they raise and trained me different. They taught and raise me to never seek power or popularity, but instead stand up for what's right. But no matter what, my parents and I would always be trained killers and assassins" Zach said.

"How many people have you killed?" Viktor asked "I never count" Zach said "How old were you when...?" Viktor asked "I took my first kill when I was eight years old" Zach said "Shit" Viktor said "Yeah" Zach said with a nod.

"Have you ever hesitated?" Viktor asked "No" Zach shook his head "How can you kill without hesitating?" Viktor asked "Because sometimes you have to kill someone to save the people you love, but trust me I never like it" Zach said and Viktor looked down "It still doesn't explain why Allison killed Harlan" Viktor said "In anger. Allison have lost a lot, and when a person emotions is high, especially if a person is sad or angry, they do things before thinking them through. And sometimes they take the blame out on others. Allison killed Harlan because she believe that it was his fault that her daugther is gone" Zach said "But I just don't understand" Viktor said.

"Little advice from someone who's been there?" Zach said and leaned forward a bit "Don't do the math. That equation does not exist. Theres no 'save five Harlans for every two Claires' formula. People like us, we will never save enough lives to make up for the ones that we take. Trust me, my parents have tried, even I have, but we never managed" he said.

"I don't accept that" Viktor said "Then you'll drown. This is the price of being powerful. Sometimes we step on ants. And the sooner you face that, the safer we'll all be" Zach said "What is that supposed to mean?" Viktor asked "It means you're very dangerous, Viktor Hargreeves. The decisions you make impact the entire world. So no matter how benevolent they may seem, you don't get to make them alone" Zach said and Viktor looked down "You know what they call a superhero who works alone and doesn't listen to anybody?" Zach said before taking a deep breath.

"A villain" he finishing and Viktor looked at him.

"I am not a villain, Zach" Viktor said "And, Viktor, I hope to God you never will be. But that remains to be seen" Zach said as he put the knife back in his holster before he got up with a sigh.

"This is a message from both my dad and I. No more going rouge. If you ever need anything, I'm always here for you, so will my parents. But lie to us again..." Zach said before taking a deep breath.

"Viktor, either my dad or I will kill you ourself" he finished and Viktor looked at him.

"My dad will" Zach said.

Ben, Chris and Fei was sitting in the living room in front of the fire place.

"I'm glad we made peace. It all worked out" Ben said as he poured some champagne in Fei's glass "Yeah" she said as she leaned back and Ben put the champagne bottle on the floor next to him.

"But we're definitely killing them in the morning, right?" Fei asked and Chris said something "And Chris has dibs on knife boy" Fei said.

"No one is killing anyone" Ben said "Why not?" Fei asked and Ben looked at her "We followed your plan, merged the families, saved the world. We don't need them anymore" Fei said "I'm not done yet" Ben said "Done what?" Fei asked "That's between me and Dad" Ben said before taking a sip of his champagne glass and Fei leaned forward in her chair "You made a deal with Dad?" she asked "Maybe" he said before he put his glass down on the floor.

"Fine. I'm done" Fei said as she got up "Sit down" Ben ordered "No. We don't recognize your authority anymore. You're a terrible leader with no loyalty to anyone but yourself" she said "You don't speak for Christopher" Ben said and Christopher said something causing Ben to get up "Really, dude?" he asked him and Fei let out a small laugh.

"I'm Number One. You'll do as I say when I say it" Ben said to her "Not anymore" Fei said before she looked at Chris "Here's to a new life without this dickhead" she said before she cheered her glass on Christopher and drank the glass empty.

But then the sound of energy fluctuating was heard and Chris started to shaking violently causing Fei and Ben to walk slowly closer to him.

"Christopher, what's wrong?" Fei asked but Christopher just kept shaking more as cracks appeared on him.

"Back away, Fei" Ben said "Chris, it's going to be okay" Fei said as she stepped closer to him while Ben took some step backwards "Fei!" he shouted "I'm going to help you. Just--" Fei said but then Christopher exploded and Fei let out a dying screams as The Kugelblitz pulled her in while Ben was knock to the floor.

Another shockwave pulsing was heard as the whole Academy started shaking before collapsing.

Zach and Viktor ran out of the room as the whole place was shaking while it started to fall apart "We gotta get out!" Viktor said before running out of the building.

"ZACH" a voice called out and Zach turned to see his parnets running towards him. Natasha holding Luna.

"We gotta get out of here" Natasha said as Luna was crying.

But then Zach and Five spotted Ben laying unconscious on the floor in the living room while the Kugelblitz got bigger and bigger closing in on him.

"Wait. Ben!" Five said before he looked at the two "You two get out of here. I will get Ben" Five said "I'm not leaving you" Natasha said "You have too. Think about Luna. I'll be right behind you" Five said "I'm not leaving" Natasha said "I will help him mom, you just get out of here" Zach said before he blink away "Zach" Five and Natasha called out.

"Go Love" Five shouted and Natasha turned around before running out of the Academy.

Zach appeared in the living room and he grabbed, trying to get him up, but he was too heavy.

But then Five appeared next to him "Dad" he said "You are just as stubborn as me" Five said before he grabbed Ben and the two reach to blink away before they could get hit by the Kugelblitz.

The whole Academy was suck into the Kugelblitz together with other buildings next to it.

Since the plan to save the universe hadn't worked and instead it had speed up the end of everything.

Fei, Christopher and the other you had being lost to the Kugelblitz and Five had risked his own life to save Ben before he was also lost to the Kugelblitz.

The Kugelblitz have grown so big that it have absorbing everything.

Lucky, the Hotel Obsidian was still standing, so Natasha and the others have settled down there to think about what to do now.

Natasha was holding Luna as her, Five and Zach was in one of the hotel rooms.

"So now what?" Natasha asked "I don't know. I would say we don't have a lot of days left" Five said before he let out a sigh.

"I'm so sorry, I failed you three" he said "No" Natasha and Zach said as they walked over to him before sitting down next to him.

"You didn't fail us, you did everything you did" Natasha said "But sometimes that is not even enough. And you once told me, no matter what, no matter how strong someone is, they can't save everyone, not all the time" Zach said.

"You did your best" Natasha said as Five had Luna on his lap.

There was silence for a minute until Five took a deep breath "No, I will not accept that" he said before giving Luna to Natasha "I will try to find a way" he said before blinking away.

Zach and Natasha looked at each other "Shall we talk to him?" Zach asked "Your dad need time, he have spend most of his life trying to stop the apocalypse, he is stubborn. He need time" Natasha said "Have you giving up?" Zach asked "A part of me have since this was our last plan, but the other part, the part that is a fighter and a mother refuse to give up. But if there is anyone who can come up with a plan, it's your dad. Let's give him the rest of the night, he might come up with something. He is the smartest of us all" Natasha said.

"I think I will try to come up something to, 'cause I refuse to give up as well" Zach said and Natasha smiled "Like father like son" she said "You let dad and I handle this one mom, you get some rest, both you and Luna needs it" Zach said as he holding Luna's tiny hand with his left hand.

"My boy have grown up" Natasha said as she put her hand on his cheek which 'cause him to smile.

Zach then got up before leaving the bedroom.
