CHAPTER FOUR: THE FUNERAL

When Natasha have changed she walked back into Five's room to see him struggled a little bit with his tie.

"Jesus, why is it suddenly so hard with this tie?" Five groaned.

Then he heard a chuckled and he looked towards the sound to see Natasha standing in the door way "Having trouble my love?" she asked "No" he said as he continue to struggle which cause her to chuckled.

"Do you think is funny?" he asked "Actually yeah, you didn't had trouble doing a tie back at The Commission, why do you have now?" she asked "It's those stupid child hands, I can't..." he said before he let out a groan again.

She smiled before she walked over to him "Do you want my help?" she asked "No, I got it" he said as he tried again but fail.

"WHY IS THIS SO DAMN HARD!" he said out loud "Easy, Sweety" she said before she turned him so he was facing her.

"Let me 'cause you can't fix your tie without me" she said as her hands went to his blazer's collar.

"Well, then it's good I have you to fix it for me, Love" he smirked before he kissed her cheek.

She adjusted the tie better and tighten it. She then folded the collar of his shirt back down and patted his shoulder which cause him to smile.

"There you go" she said before she kissed his cheek "What would I do without you?" he asked "Probably whining about not being able to tie a tie" she said with a smile and he chuckled.

"You are unbelievable sometimes" she said as his hands went to his blazer's pockets "I know, but you still love me" he said and she rolled her eyes.

"How are you?" he asked "Fine, just a little annoying that you screw up the equations so we ended in our younger bodies" she said "Well, that was a mistake from me. I will take the blame" he said "Well, I'm blaming you, and it's gonna cost you later" she said, a little annoying "I'm sorry" he said before he kissed her nose "Stop that" she said, a little annoying.

"Have I ever told you that you're adorable when you're mad" he said "Yeah, you have" she said "I love you" he said "I love you too" she said and he wrapped an arm around her waist before he pulled her closer, pressing his lips against hers.

"So does that mean I'm forgiven?" he asked as he pulled away "You are on the edge" she said and he smiled.

"Come let's go" he said and she nodded before the two left the bedroom.

As they exit the bedroom, they spotted Klaus "So, did you two have fun?" he asked "What?" Natasha asked "Ignore him, he is the weird one" Five said as the couple walked past him and Five started showing her around the Academy.

"And that's the living room" Five said as him and Natasha walked into the living room "Woah, how big is this house?" she asked "Very big" he said.

"This building is bigger than I expected" she said as she looked around the living room.

Then their eyes landed at a portrait hanging on the wall above the fireplace. It was a portrait of Five. He was sitting on a chair, his hands was folded and he was looking straight ahead.

"It seems like your dad didn't forget you" she said "I think he made it to remind my siblings to not made the same mistake that I did" he said, looking at the portrait.

"But I'm glad that I made that mistake, it was the best decision I have ever made" he said "Why?" she asked "'Cause if I have not made that mistake, I would never have met you" he said and the two looked at each other with a smile.

The world might see two killers with no emotions, two people who act like a bitch and a jerk towards others. But towards each other and their son, they are caring, sweet and kind people.

Natasha used to act like a careless bitch, but she is not. If you show her that she can trust you and you care, she is actually a kind person. Five help her see that. He saved her from the darkness, showed her another way of living.

He have saved her, in any way a person can be saved.

"Thank you for not telling the others about what kind of work we did and about that I was in the apocalypse for 25 years and about that I saw their bodies in the future" he said "Well, of course, and also it's your job to tell them. And also I don't think I should tell them, for them I'm just a stranger" she said.

"Don't worry, they are going to like you, they just need to time. Diego already likes you" he said "Well, I will start liking them, when they start liking me and show it" she said "Thank you for being here" he said "Of course, we are partners in crime and a couple, so always" she said and the two smiled to each other before they looked back at the portrait.

"When are we gonna tell the others?" she asked "About what?" he asked "About what you have seen, what kind of job we had, and about Zach" she said "I don't know" he said "Five, they deserve to know. They are your siblings, your family, Zach's aunts and uncles" she said "I know and I will tell them, I'm just taking it slow. They wouldn't believe it if I just blurted it all out now. 'Hey I was alone in the apocalypse for 25 years, I saw your dead bodies, the apocalypse will happen in eight days, I have being working as an assassin for 19 years and I have a son name Zach' They would think I'm crazy and it will be too much info for them, so I'm taking it one step at the time" he said and she nodded.

Then they heard footsteps behind them and Natasha put her hand by her dagger that was in a holster by her right side of her waist, before she turned her head to look behind her to see Vanya entering the living room. "It's just Vanya" she said, turning her head back while she remove her hand from her dagger.

"Nice to know Dad didn't forget me" he said as he turned to look at Vanya while Natasha walked over to sit by the couch.

"Read your book, by the way. Found it in a library that was still standing" Five said "Read it too. Good book" Natasha said and Vanya send her a small but shy smile.

Five then walked around Vanya with his hands in his pockets "I thought it was pretty good, all things considered" he said before stopping behind her causing her to turn around to look at him while he was looking up in the ceiling.

"Yeah, definitely ballsy, giving up the family secrets" Five said, looking at her, before taking some steps closer to her.

"Sure that went over well" he said "They hate me" Vanya said "I don't think they hate you, I think they are just angry at you" Natasha said, getting up from the couch before walking over to them.

"Oh, there are worse things that can happen" Five said "You mean like what happened to Ben?" Vanya asked and Natasha looked at Five and she could see that he was trying to hold back his tears from losing a brother.

"Was it bad?" he asked and Vanya nodded.

"Hey, Five and Vanya" a voice said and the three looked towards the voice to see Luther holding the urn which contained Reginald's ashes.

"The funeral is now" he said as, Diego, Allison and Klaus was standing behind him "Alright" Five said before him and Vanya walked towards Luther.

"Hey, not you" Luther said, holding out his hand in front of Natasha who was following after Five.

She stopped as she looked at the arm "Excuse me" she said, looking at him "You are not going" he said "Yeah, she is. She is my plus one" Five said "There is no plus one" Luther said, looking at Five before he looked back at Natasha "This is a private funeral, for family only, you have no reason to be here. So leave" he said "She is my girlfriend" Five hissed at Luther.

"I don't take orders from you" Natasha said and Luther turned to Allison "Here, hold his" he said, giving the urn to her before he turned back to Natasha.

"You stay here till it's done" he said as he pointed his finger at her "Take that finger away from me big guy or I will shoved it right up your ass, or I will cut off your finger and shoved them down your throat and I will keep doing it until you are out of fingers" Natasha said "You are not going. You stay here" Luther said again but with a more aggressive voice.

"You don't tell me what to do. I do what I want" Natasha said and was about to walk past him but he grabbed her right shoulder tight.

Natasha turned her head before she glazed up at him "Take that hand of me. Or the next funeral this family will attend, will be yours" she threatened through her gritting teeth.

"Aren't you going to defend her?" Diego whispered to Five "No" Five whispered while shaking his head lightly "She can handle herself. She don't need protection. The only one that needs protection, is the one that gets in her way" he said "Well, it wouldn't be me" Diego said.

Luther then turned his head to look at Five "Five, would you say something to her?" he asked "Why?" Five asked "So is your girlfriend" Luther said "So? Just because she my girlfriend and partner in crime, doesn't mean I'm in charge of her" Five said.

"Say something to her" Luther said and Five shook his head "No. Nobody tell her what to do. So unless you don't want to lose a hand, I suggests you take that hand off" he said "He is right. 1...2..." Natasha said and Luther looked back at her that was sending him a killer look. "You better stop me before I reach 3" she said and Luther noticed that she was holding her hand by a dagger that was in a holster by her left waist causing him to immediately remove his hand.

"Good boy" Natasha said, looking at him "Does anyone have anything against me going to this funeral?" she asked, looking at the others and no one said anything, a little scared of her.

"Not me. I actually think it would be nice if you attend" Diego said "Good" Natasha said before walking over to stand next to Five who put an arm around her shoulder before he kissed her cheek, while showing a proud face.

"Touch me again Luther, and you will wake up, breathing through a tube" she said, looking at him and she could see the fear in his eyes.

"Alright, let's do this" Allison said as she handed the urn back to Luther.

Thunder was rumbling and it was raining when Natasha and Five went outside to the courtyard with the rest of his family before standing in a circle.

Natasha was standing on Five's left side as Klaus was standing on Five's right side.

Everyone except for Luther and Diego was holding a black umbrella each, except for Klaus who was holding an pink umbrella.

"Are you sure that you are not cold?" Five asked as he looked at his girlfriend "I'm fine Five, really" she said "Okay, but let me know if it's starting getting cold" he said and she nodded before she looked around the courtyard until her eyes landed on a statue.

Natasha smiled as she looked at the statue, she think that it was sweet that the family had built a statue to honor their brother.

"Did something happen?" Grace asked and everyone looked at her.

Natasha knew who Grace was. Five have told both her and Zach about his family, he have told them about his robot mother name Grace and their monkey butler, name Pogo. He have also told them what powers each of his siblings have and what his father did to him and his siblings when they were kids.

Natasha remember that when she was pregnant with Zach, Five kept doubting himself if he would ever be a good dad and he was always scared in becoming like his dad, but he didn't, Five have being an amazing dad for Zach, just like Natasha have being an amazing mom to Zach.

Even so Zach was the spitting image of his dad, he sometimes was a mommy's boy.

"Dad died. Remember?" Allison asked "Oh. Yes, of course" Grace said, looking down as her smiled faded "Is Mom okay?" Allison asked and Diego looked at her "Yeah, yeah, she's fine" he said before looking back at Grace while Klaus pulled up a smoke with his free hand. "She just needs to rest. You know, recharge" Diego said.

"Whenever you're ready, dear boy" Pogo said, looking at Luther who was holding the urn.

Luther opened the urn before he flip it upside down causing the ashes to fell down on the ground, making a pile.

"Awkward" Natasha mumbled under her breath.

Luther looked around at the others awkwardly "Probably would have been better with some wind" he said.

"Does anyone wish to speak?" Pogo asked, glancing at the siblings but they didn't answered.

"Very well" Pogo said before taking a deep breath "In all regard, Sir Reginald Hargreeves made me what I am today. For that alone, I shall forever be in his debt. He was my master...and my friend, and I shall miss him very much. He leaves behind a complicated legacy--" "He was a monster" Diego said, cutting Pogo off and Klaus let out a small laugh at Diego's words.

"He was a bad person and a worse father. The world's better off without him" Diego said "Diego" Allison said "My name is Number Two. You know why? Because our father couldn't be bothered to give us actual name. He had Mom do it" Diego said.

"Would anyone like something to eat"? Grace asked "No, it's okay, Mom" Vanya said, looking at her "Oh, okay" Grace said with a smile.

"Look, you wanna pay your respects?" Diego said as he stepped into the circle so he was in front of everyone.

"Go ahead. But at least be honest about the kind of man he was" he said "You should stop talking" Luther said and Diego turned to him "You know, you of all people should be on my side, Number One" he said "I am warning you" Luther said, a little aggressive.

"After everything he did to you?" Diego said, stepping closer to Luther "He had to ship you a million miles away" he said "Diego, stop talking" Luther said aggressiv.

Natasha leaned her head towards Five "They will start fighting, am I right?" she asked and he nodded "They will" he said "50 bucks that Luther will threw the first punch" she said "You are on" he said.

"That's how much he couldn't stand the sight of you" Diego said, poking his finger at Luther's chest.

Luther grabbed Diego's wrist, pushing the arm away before he threw a punch at him but Diego dodged down avoiding Luther's fist causing them both to let out a grunt while the others step back.

"How did you know?" Five asked "I could see it on Luther's face. He can lose his temper easy" Natasha said before she looked at him "You own me 50 bucks" she said "I will get them to you as soon as I have money" he said and Natasha nodded before she continued watching the fight.

Five rolled his eyes, he think that Luther and Diego were still acting like kids, so it seems like nothing really have changed.

"BOYS, STOP THIS AT ONCE!" Pogo shouted at them.

Klaus stretched an arm in front of Five to protect him but he just swatted it away.

Luther threw a punch at Diego, hitting him, making him step back "Come on big boy! Come on!" Diego shouted at him as he was getting in a fighting position.

Diego dodged another of Luther's fist before he punch him in the stomach causing Luther to bent over and Diego punch him three times in the back causing Luther to grunt.

"STOP IT!" Vanya shouted "Hit him! Hit him!" Klaus shouted "Get him, Diego, Get him" Natasha shouted while clapping, enjoying the show as Luther and Diego kept punching each other.

Pogo let out a sigh and a scoff, shaking his head before he turned around and went inside.

Luther grabbed Diego's shirt before he threw him to the ground.

Diego quickly got up and dodged Luther's fist before he gave him a knee in the stomach.

"He is good" Natasha said as she noticed how good Diego was fighting.

Diego threw a kick at Luther before he threw a fist at him but Luther grabbed Diego's wrist before he grabbed Diego's shirt "Get off me!" he shouted before punching Luther in the face causing him to let go.

"We don't have time for this. Come on Love" Five said "I wanna see the fight" Natasha said "Nat" Five said again "Come on Five, it's just starting to get interesting" she said.

"Come here, big boy!" Diego said and Luther threw a punch towards Diego who jumped to the side causing Luther to hit Ben's statue causing it to fell down on the ground, breaking. "Oh..." Klaus said "And there goes Ben's statue" Allison said before she rolled her eyes.

Diego then pulled out one of his knives "Diego, no!" Vanya shouted, but Diego threw the knife at Luther and it just hit a little bit of Luther's arm leaving a little cut on his arm.

Luther started panting and let out a gasp before he quickly covered the cut with his hand.

He looked around before he quickly ran inside "And the winner is Diego, congratulations, not the best fight I have seen, but not the worst either" Natasha said.

Vanya walked over to Diego "You never know when to stop, do you?" she asked "You got enough material for your sequel yet?" Diego asked "He was my father, too" Vanya said before walking inside.

Diego looked at Grace before walking over to her "Mom" he said, grabbing her arm and she looked at him "Let's go inside" he said before he took her inside.

Klaus walked over to the ashes before he bent down "I bet you're loving this. Hmm? The team at its best. It's just like old times" Klaus said and took a last puff of his cigarette before sticking it into the ashes.

He then got up "Best Funeral ever" he said in a sarcastically voice while walking away.

"Now can we go?" Five asked as he looked at Natasha "Yeah" she said before she walked after Five inside.

"Where are you going?" she asked "I need coffee before we start all of this" he said "Great, make it two, I need coffee too" she said.
