CHAPTER THIRTY-FIVE: DO NOT TEST ME RIGHT NOW

When the family return back to Dallas in 1963, drenched in someone else's blood, still drying on their skins, they decided to stay in the alleyway to wait on the Handler.

Natasha was standing in the alleyway, picking at the blood of her nails, she was holding the plastic bag with AJ in her right hand that was crossed over her stomach. Her left hand that she was picking at the blood was propped up on her other arm while Five was standing next to her also picking at the blood of his nails and Zach was standing with his back leaned against the wall with his left foot up on the wall and his arms crossed across his chest.

"You two okay" Five asked them and they nodded "Yeah" Zach said "Just wanted to get this over with" Natasha said.

Then there was the sound of a zap behind them before they could hear footsteps approaching and the three let out a softly scoffs as The Handler came walking from behind them.

"Well?" she asked and Natasha put her arm that was holding the bag out behind her and towards The Handler.

The Handler let out a gasp "AJ" she said and she put the briefcase down on the ground before she grabbed the bag from Natasha and she let out a cackling noise as she brought the bag up to her eye level so she could look at AJ.

Natasha and Five turned around and Five put his hands in his pockets as The Handler eyed him up and down.

"You know you're really starting to fill out those tight little shorts of yours" she said and looked back at AJ before she giggled while Five looked at the wall to his left before Natasha and him looked at each other.

They could both see in each other's eyes that this was the line, they were done with killing.

The two then looked over at their son who gave him a small and quick nod. He was also done with all the killing.

"Why so quiet?" The Handler asked as she looked at the three "Thought you three would be buzzing after this morning's slaughter" she said.

"All this killing..." Natasha and Five said as they paused for a moment before looking back at The Handler, ready to finally say what they had wanted for a long time "We're done with it" they both said "Me too" Zach said.

"What?" The Handler asked as she pulled out a rag before licking a part of it.

"Am I supposed to take that seriously?" she asked as she stepped closer to Five before she wipe lightly his face, trying to get the blood off which cause the anger in Natasha to boil.

"What we did today, we did for our kids and family" Five said "We did it to save the world" Natasha said as The Handler moved her hand away from Five "Please" she said before she moved the rag around his face again "Spare me your little assassin with the heart of gold routine, will you?" she said.

"And keep up with this act" Five said We're not your puppet" the three said "No, I don't think so. You're much more than that you three. You know that" The Handler said as she wipe the blood off his face but Natasha push her hand away.

"Don't touch me" Five hissed "We've made so many deals with you, just for you to rip it from us" Zach "For whatever reason, we're hoping this time you'll hold up your side of the deal" Natasha said.

"So ungrateful" The Handler tilted her head "The Commission and I have done so much for you two. This was only fair" she smiled. 

"I saved you two. We made you the strong people that you are. Maybe not in this body, but nevertheless, you are still the person we made inside. A killer" she said as she continued moving the rag around his face but then Natasha pushed her hand away "That is enough" she said as she grits her teeth.

The Handler nodded before she picked up the briefcase "Here" she said as she handed it to Natasha "Per our agreement, this will get you two and your siblings back to 2019" she said and Natasha grabbed the briefcase from her while she was still looking down at the ground.

"You have 90 minutes" The Handler said causing the three to snapped their heads towards her as she turned around "What?" Natasha asked "You said nothing about a time limit" Zach said as the three took a few steps forward and she stopped causing them to do the same.

"Actually, you have 89 minutes and 30 seconds" she said as she was looking at the watch before she looked back at them "Better hurry" she said before turning around again.

"This is impossible, okay?" Zach said as three stared at her while they pointed to the end of the alleyway "My siblings are scattered across the city" Five said as they walked closer to her.

The Handler stopped before she turned to the three "Nothing's impossible. You three proved that this morning when you killed the board" she said and tapped Five's nose "Well, it was not impossible for us since we three are highly trained assassins, the best assassins The Commission have ever had" Zach said.

"We need more time" Five said "Any more time, and people will start asking questions. The sooner you get home and out of this time period, the better off we'll both be, so, ticktock, ticktock" she said "You" the three muttered angry before Five grabbed Natasha's hand and they blink away.

Diego pulled out the knife from Elliott's chest before Luther covered a blanket over his body.

"I can't believe Elliott's dead" Luther said "He was a good guy" Diego said as Luther let out a sigh "Deserved better than this" Diego said "Yeah" Luther said.

"Elliott must've been getting too close to the truth. It smells like the feds" Diego said as he looked down "What? Are you out of your mind?" Luther asked as Diego walked over to the railing to look down at the words that was written in blood on the floor.

"Diego, if this was the federal government, they would take him somewhere and question. They wouldn't...do this. No, this is a work of a psychopath" Luther said.

"'Oga Foroga'. That a name?" Diego asked and Luther walked over to look down at the words witting in blood.

"'Oga Foroga'" Luther said and Diego looked at him "I'll lock her up" Luther said before he grabbed a phone book from the top of the fridge "Okay..." he said as he opened the book to look for the name Oga Foroga, but instead he found Olga Foroga.

"Holy shit, I found her" Luther said and Diego walked over to him to see the name "'Olga Foroga'" Luther read before he let out a scoff "That must be her" he said, looking at Diego "Call the bitch" Diego said "On it" Luther said before he immediately grabbed the phone and called the woman.

Natasha, Five and Zach next to the middle display in Morty's "I really hate that woman" Natasha said "So do I" Five said "So do I, she is a bitch" Zach said.

But then they spotted the words writing in blood on the floor.

"'Öga För Öga'" Zach read "It's Swedish" Natasha said "And it means---" "'An eye for an eye'" the three said at the same time before they shared a look "Can this get any worse?" she asked before they both walked up the stairs.

"Okay...It's ringing" they heard Luther say from the kitchen as they walked up the last step before they stopped next to a dentist chair that was covered with a sheet.

The three glanced to the side to see the trail of blood before seeing a pool of it on the floor.

Natasha put the briefcase on the floor and she grabbed the sides of the sheet before slowly pulling it back and saw Elliott's dead body causing him to let out a sadly sigh "Damn" the three said.

"I like Elliott, he was weird but a good guy" Zach said.

Then their eyes widened "Luna" they all said "I will check" Zach said before he blink away.

A few seconds later, he appeared next to them, holding Luna "She's okay, not a scratch" Zach said the couple walked closer to their daughter "Thank God" they both said in relief.

"Watch her while we clean ourself" Five said and Zach nodded.

"Uh, hello, Olga?" Luther asked as he listen to who it was in the phone before he looked at Diego "It's her. She sounds old. What should I say?" Luther whispered "Just..." Diego said as he signaled Luther to hurry up and talk to the old woman and Luther cleared his throat.

"Excuse me, ma' am. Um, I was just wondering--What? My name? Is, uh, Luther Hargreeves, and..." Luther said but then Diego took the phone out of Luther's hand before he put the phone to his ear as the couple walked towards the kitchen they were in while they looked around trying to find a place to hid the briefcase.

"Over there" Five said as he pointed between two boxes and a table and Natasha hid the briefcase there.

"You killed one of ours, Olga, now we're coming after you. You will be dead by nightfall" Diego said angry into the phone, his teeth gritting.

"Hey" Natasha and Five called out to Luther and Diego causing them to turn around to look at him "It's Öga För Öga, idiots" Zach said as he also stood in the doorway.

"Swedish for 'An eye for an eye'" Five said as he took off his blazer while Diego and Luther furrowed their brows "It means the Swedes killed Elliott" Natasha said.

Diego turned back to the phone as his face changed "Wrong number. Have a lovely day" he said in the sweetest way he could, before he put the phone back on the receiver.

Five sputtered as he took off his vest "We would've gotten there" Luther said "Eventually" Diego said "Yeah" Luther said "No, you guys wouldn't" Zach said.

The couple let out a sigh as Luther put the phone book back on the top of the fridge before him and Diego turned to the couple

"Uh, you two have blood on you" Diego said as Natasha walked past them, going into the bathroom before she flipped on the light and walked over to the sink, turning on the water.

"A lot of blood, actually" Luther said as Five walked past his brother before also entering the bathroom.

Natasha splashed the water onto her face and started scrubbing her skin with her hands, leaving dirty drop of water in the sink bowl and on the floor by her feet.

"Why do you two have blood on you?" Luther asked but the couple didn't answer as Five cupped his hands under the water, before he lifted his hands up to wash his face.

"I'm not surprise that Natasha have blood on her, but why do you have blood on you?" Luther asked but Five didn't answer.

"Zach why do your parents have blood on them?" Diego asked "You don't wanna know" Zach said.

"Five...Natasha...Five. What did you two do?" Luther asked "What do you think asshole" Natasha said as she bent down to grab out a rag from under the sink.

She put the rag under the water, she squeezed the water out before she put it closer to her face but then someone grabbed her wrist "Here, let me. Love" Five said as he wash the rest of the blood off her face.

"Are you okay?" he asked "I'm fine, just sad about Elliott" Natasha said as she looked into his green eyes.

He nodded as he continue wash the blood off her face.

But then she grabbed the hand where he was holding the rag "I got it honey, focus on getting the blood off yourself. I can do this. Focus on yourself" she said.

She then grabbed another rag, put it under the water, wetting it before she threw it to Five who caught it and he squeezed the water out of it, washing the blood off his face before he put the rag on the side of the sink.

Turning around and walking towards the bathtub, he started changing his shirt with his back facing the two.

"Did you two killed anybody?" Luther asked as Five walked past him, grabbing his blazer and a clean shirt for Natasha before walking back into the bathroom.

"Here Love. A clean shirt" he said as he handed Natasha the shirt "Thanks" she said and he smiled before kissed her cheek.

While Natasha wash the last blood off her, Five flipped the collar of his shirt up and leaned over, grabbing his tie from a drying rack "So Nat, Zach and I found a way home" he said as he put the tie back on.

"What? How?" Luther asked "All the details are irrelevant, but...we made a deal to get back to our timeline" Five said as he was tucking his tie into his vest while Natasha changed her shirt, throwing her bloody shirt in the bathtub.

Natasha then saw that Five struggle with his tie, so she grabbed it "Here let me" she said and he removed his hands.

She adjusted the tie better and tighten it. She then folded the collar of his shirt back down and patted his shoulder which cause him to smile "There you go" she said "Thanks" he said and she smiled before she kissed his cheek.

"What about doomsday?" Diego asked "Won't happen" Zach said "And the 2019 apocalypse?" Diego asked again "Everything will be back to normal" Natasha said as her and Five turned before walking out of the bathroom and in between the two in the doorway. "All right? Now, no more questions. We gotta go" Five said, flipping his collar over his tie.

"We have to find the others, right?" Five said "Yeah" Luther said "Luther, you get Allison" Five said "Okay" Luther said "Diego Klaus" Five said "I will get Vanya" Zach said and the couple looked at him "No, you and your mom stay here with Luna, I will get her" Five said "No dad, I will get her, you and mom can stay here with Luna, I will get Vanya. You two deserve to spend as much time with her together as you can" Zach said and Five tilted his head a little bit "I can handle it, don't worry" Zach said "Okay" Five said as he took his blazer back on before he walked into the living room.

"Now, we meet back in the arrival alley in 77 minutes" Five said before walking over to a table, grabbing three watches as Luther and Diego walked into the living room.

"Here. I've synchronized these watches" he said as he gave Diego, Zach and Luther a watch each "Okay, let's do this" Luther said, putting the watch around his wrist while Zach gave Luna to Natasha who was standing next to Five.

"Good, let's go" Zach said before he turned around "Whoa, whoa, whoa, hold on" Diego said causing Zach to stop before he turned around.

"Your parents show up drenched in blood and expect us to believe everything's gonna go back to normal if we go home now?" Diego asked and Five gestured back at the chair with Elliott in it "Elliott just got killed because of us" he said "We need to go now" Zach said.

"What about Dad? What about JFK?" Diego asked as he took some step towards Zach who was standing next to his dad.

"Diego, we have a chance to go home and make things right. We are taking it" Five said and Diego looked down on the floor "I have to say goodbye to Lila" he said before looking up while taking a step back as Five put his arms out while shaking his head "Lila doesn't give a shit about you, Diego!" he shouted causing Diego to stop and turn to him "She never did" Five said as he dropped his arms to his side before putting them up again "She's one of them. She's a member of The Commission" Zach said.

"No way. Not possible" Diego said as he shook his head "She was just using you to get to me, Natasha and Zach" Five said "He's right, she wanted to get close to us, so she could get kidnap Luna, so she used you get close to her" Natasha said "You're the Oswald of this story, my friend. The goddamned patsy" Zach said.

Diego snapped his head up and pointed his finger while taking a few steps forward "You don't know what you're talk--" but Diego got cut off when Zach blinked right in front of him with his fingers pointing at him which cause him to stop talking.

"If you don't do this, I'll kill you myself. Got it?" Zach threatened.

"Like father like son" Natasha said as she could see that the look Zach was sending Diego was the same look Five could send when he was getting annoying.

"You better take him seriously Diego, Zach is his father's son" Natasha said and Diego nodded.

Zach then looked at his parents "I will be right back" he said before he blinked away.

Luther let out a heavily sigh as he walked up to Diego before he patted him on the shoulder "Women" he said and Diego looked at him "Am I right?" Luther asked which cause Natasha to glared at him.

Five then walked over to Natasha "My turn" he said as he stretched his arms towards Luna and Natasha smiled before she handed Luna to him.

"Hey Luna bear" Five said with a smile before he walked over to sit on the couch, putting Luna on his lap.

"Yeah, you relax while we do all the work" Diego said sarcastically "Diego, stop. Five have not had one day break, he have missed both his kids' birth and the first year of Luna's life. He have done so much while all you guys were sitting on your asses, so I think he deserve to have a break while you do all the working" Natasha said before she walked past them and into the kitchen to make some coffee.

"Come, let's get to work" Luther said before him and Diego left.

The Handler was in her main office again. She was now the boss of The Commission.

She let out a chuckled as she put AJ down in a fishbowl filled with water where some blue and yellow stones was laying on the bottom of the fishbowl.

"Hmm" she said as she crouched down to look at the fishbowl that was standing by her desk.

"How dare you!" AJ muted "Look at you" The Handler said with a smile "I'll get you for this" AJ said and The Handler tap her finger on the glass as AJ started shouting indistinctly.

"Back to work. And don't worry about that parking spot. It won't go to waste" The Handler said before she started cackling as she tap her finger at the glass "No!" AJ shouted "Do I really have to be here?" Lila asked as she was standing, leaning against the wall by the window.

"Oh, Lila, darling, no, I need your opinion" The Handler said as she got up "These are all so good, I can't decide" she said as she pick up two posters with two different security uniforms on "What do you think of these new security uniforms?" she asked as she showed them to Lila "Too pansy-ass?" The Handler asked as she looked at one of the posters before looking at the other "Hmm...I am a sucker for a beret, though" she said before she showed the two to Lila who just rolled her eyes.

"Oh, come on, this is my big day. Don't yuck my yum with your bad mood" The Handler said and Lila looked down at that bracelet she and Diego made in the asylums together.

"And stop twisting that tacky little bracelet like a sulky schoolgirl" The Handler said as she put down the posters on the desk "We have achieved our dream" she said with her arms out to the side "Your dream" Lila said, looking at her "Hey" The Handler said before she opened a draw by the desk, taking something out.

"Here" she said as she stretched a small box towards Lila and Lila walked towards her "What is it?" she asked as she took the box from her "Well, it was meant to be a surprise, but your terrible attitude's ruined that" The Handler said as she sat down on her chair.

Lila opened the box to see a golden badge with the words 'HEAD OF SECURITY' on it.

"Head of security?" Lila asked as she looked at The Handler "You're always asking about more trust, responsibility. Well, there it is" The Handler said "Really?" Lila asked "Really. If you want it" The Handler said as she put a cigarette in her mouth while Lila let out a softly scoffs.

"Yeah, I want it, but, um...I wanna do it my own way. Yeah, I wanna make my own decisions, you know, pick my own team" Lila said "Why not? You've earned it" The Handler said and Lila smiled before she looked back at the badge.

"Now all we need is to convince Zach to join us and get Luna" The Handler said and Lila looked at her.

Zach was driving down the road when he saw another car drove past him.

As the two cars past each other, Zach glanced at Vanya who was sitting in the other car, glancing back at him.

They both hit the brakes before they quickly got out of the cars.

"What are you doing here?" Vanya asked Zach as the two approach each other "Looking for you. We're going back to 2019" he said "What are you talking about?" Vanya asked and he pulled out his watch "Look, I don't really have time to explain right now, but my parents and I found a way home" he said as he lowered his hands, looking back at Vanya "All right? We have 30 minutes to leave" he said before he turned around, taking some step forward, towards his car "What about my friends? I can't just leave them here" she said causing him to stop as he turn to her.

"Vanya, you don't have a choice in this, all right?" he said as he stepped closer to her "Doomsday will happen if you don't come with us. We don't belong here, the longer we stay here, the more we screw up the timeline" he said.

"Okay, then I'm bringing them with me" she said "They belong in this timeline" he said "Says who? Sissy deserves a life where she doesn't have to pretend to be someone she's not" she said aggressive and Zach shook his head as he took a quick glance back at the car before looking back at her "And Harlan? There's a name for what he has. We can get him the help he needs" she said "Vanya" he said calm, trying to convince her.

"Look, a mom and her eight-year-old son are not gonna screw up the timeline, Zach! They're insignificant" Vanya said "No one is insignificant and my parents will agree" Zach said before he stepped closer to her "We don't belong here and they don't belong in our timeline. If you stay, you will be the reason why they along with billions of other people die. And if you bring them to our timeline, well there's no telling what will happen. Maybe it will end with us never being born" he said "You don't know that!" Vanya argued "I'm sorry, all right? But we can't take that risk. They have to stay" he said to her before he took a step backwards "Come on, my parents are waiting" he said as he turned around and walked closer to his car.

"Why do you and your parents get to decide?" she asked causing him to turn to her as he stopped "Your dad is the reason we're stuck here in the first place" she said to him "If my dad did nothing, we would all be dead right now, thanks to you" he said "They're coming with me" Vanya said.

Zach let out a softly scoffs as he stepped closer to her "Vanya, do not test me right now" he said as he approach her and she let out a small smile "That's funny" she said and he furrowed his brows "'Cause I was about to say the same thing to you" she said before her eyes turned white and her skin turned pale causing Zach to furrowed his brows again as the sound high-pitched tone resonating softly was heard.

Zach and Vanya glanced at each other as the sound of Zach's powers whooshing rhythmically was heard as he clenched his fist while they glowing blue.

The two just stared at each other, it was like they were ready to fight but really didn't want hurt the other.

You could see in Zach's eyes that he was telling her 'Don't make me do this. I don't want to hurt you'

Zach could easy take Vanya down thanks to his assassin skills but he didn't want to because he didn't want to hurt her.

But then Vanya pushed back in earnest and Zach's ego floods in respons. Vanya is glowing and Zach knew this form the beginning, but it is something else to see it, something else to know that she could come at him with everything she is and still be brought to her knees.

Just like his dad, he worry for his family and Vanya in equal measure and wonder which subsumes the other.

Vanya then powered down like she was pulling herself back, like she respected Zach.

Her eyes and skin changed back as they both powered down.

"Fine" she said 'Fine' What?" he asked "I'll be there, but I need to say goodbye first" she said "Oh, Vanya, we don't have the time" he said "Well, it's either that or I'm not coming" she said before she turned around and walked back to her car.

Zach let out a scoffs before he turned around to walk back to his car "The alley. Don't be late" he said with a sigh before he got into the car.

A/N: Hope you like that I choose Zach should pick up Vanya instead of Five.
