It's been a bit hazy since I awoke. These guards forcefully woke me from my slumber, dragging me down a long hall of creepy pictures.
   

 A picture of the prince sat on the wall, his eyes following you as you passed him. 

  I hopped down the hall on my good foot, my bad, wrapped very tightly in itchy gauze. Every step, the guard's foot would smack into my wound, my teeth clenching even tighter.

  My original target, Esther Woold walked beside me, a velvet dress hung from her shoulders, clinging to her curves. She was truly beautiful, I'm glad I couldn't kill her.

 I was thrown into a room, screaming at the pain bursting from my leg. Before me was two throne's, where a very large king and delicate queen sat. The prince, sat in a smaller chair, a smirk curled on his lips.

 The guard's led Esther to her chair beside her husband which didn't even seem to notice her. 

"Son," The king began, looking to the prince. "You believe she tried to kill your wife?"

She? They really saw me as a girl?

"Of course," The prince replied. "Her shotgun was pointed right at Esther."

"What is your name, child?" The queen asked me.

My lips pressed together. No way in hell would I even tell them.

"Answer your queen!"

"She ain't my queen!" I burst, anger bubbling in every word. 

"Then, you snuck in..." Esther spoke. "How?"

I chuckled. "I have my ways."

David snapped his fingers, a guard grabbing my waist, digging a gun into my head. My smirk grew wider, I was trained to never be scared of death, as an assassin, I'd welcome it.

"Where did you come from, pest!" The king growled. "Tell me if you wish to live!"

"A true assassin never tells," I replied. 

"David," Esther poked her husband. "Could I talk to her? She might answer if she talks to me."

"Hell no!" David shouted.

"Do you truly think that the strategy you've been using is going to get her to talk?" She shot back.

"I want a guard outside the door," He said. "You have thirty minutes to get all the information we need."
