Chapter three - Waking up
Your POV:
Where am I...? I'm not in a tree... I'm not on a dirt floor... So where am I? Ok (Y/N), what was the last thing you remember? ... Hmmm.... I was in a tree... With the ex assassin with cat eyes... He was asking me questions... And then, my dead family talked to me... Yep. That's all I remember. Great. It still doesn't explain where I am now though... Oh no! I hope I'm not in the castle. Last thing I need is people I don't even know watching me as I sleep... Because that is just creepy!
Obi's POV:
It's been three days since the assassin passed out, and I haven't stopped watching her. I don't know why though... Maybe it's because she is young, maybe it's because she was an assassin like me... What ever it is, it's weird. I looked back at the girl to see that she moved. I watched as she moved from left to right. After a couple minuets of that she opened her eyes and bolted up. Looking around franticly until she saw me. "Your ok!" I sighed. She looked confused. "Excuse me... Um, ex assassin... Where am I exactly?" She asked, looking around again. "Oh! Your in the castle. In my room to be exact." She started panicking. "Did anyone watch me as I slept? How did I get here? What day is it! Ah crap! The boss is going to be soooo mad!" I chuckled softly and shook my head. "I watched over you as you were passed out. I carried you here after Shiriyuki healed you. It is three days since you passed out." I explained. She gasped slightly and her eyes widened. "THE BOSS IS GOING TO KILL ME!!!!!! I NEED TO GET OUTA HERE!!!" She yelled as she jumped up and dashed to the door. I followed her and grabbed her arm. She stopped and looked at me with pleading eyes. "Please let me go! The boss is going to flip and have my head. LITERALLY!!!!" She yelled. I shook my head and dragged her back to my room. "Hey! Let me go! I need to go right now!" I shook my head and put her back down on the bed after closing and locking the door and windows. "No. You will stay here until you are fully healed." She shook her head. "No! Your not my master! I don't belong to anyone! So you can't tell me what to do!" She tried to stand up but I pushed her back down. "No. I won't let you go until your fully healed... Which - if your wondering, will take a month. So until then, I won't let you out of my sight." She growled and stood back up. But before I could push her back down, she walked to the corner of the wall and sat down, facing the wall. "Uh... What are you doing?" I asked, looking at her confusedly. "Well, if I talk back to the boss he puts me in the corner for a day." She explained. My eyes widened slightly before I picked her up and put her back on the bed. "No need for that... Let's do something to pass the time... Liiiiiiiiiike..... Ask each other questions. I don't even know your name yet." She shook her head. "Rule number one of being an assassin: never tell anything about yourself to others." I sighed. "How about I tell you my name first?" She thought for a moment before giving a slight nod. "Well, my name is Obi." She nodded. "M--- My name is (Y/N)..." I smiled. "It's a nice name you have their (Y/N). Ok, who is your boss? My master is the second prince... The one with white hair." She nodded again. "I don't know my bosses name... But I don't really like him... At all..." I nodded in understanding, "I see... Oh yeah! Master wanted to see you once you woke up. He should be in his office, would you like me to take you there?" (Y/N) nodded and stood up. I unlocked the door and walked her to Master's office. You would think she would try to run again... Hmm... Looks like I earned some trust from her... That's good. I knocked on the door to Masters office. "Master! She is up now. Can we come in?" (Y/N) looked at the door. "Come in Obi." Master said on the other side of the door. I opened the door and walked in with (Y/N) beside me. Master looked at me, then at (Y/N), then back at me. "Obi, why don't you get some sleep? I can watch her until you wake up. Ok?" I nodded slightly and turned around. (Y/N) turned to look at me and I gave her a reassuring smile before leaving. I hope she trusts me enough not to run away. I really need the rest right now though... I just hope she is ok.....
Your POV:
Obi just left. He just left me here with this guy with white hair that I. Don't. Know! Should I keep my guard up? Or should I just relax? He is Obi's Master... And I trust Obi enough not to run away... But do I trust him enough to listen to a guy I don't even know... But him Master was right... Obi was really tired... Did he even sleep for the three days I have been knocked out for? I don't know what to do! Ahhhhhhhh!!! I blinked and looked back at the man with white hair. He smiled warmly at me and stood up. "Hello. My name is Zen Whisteria. (Sorry if that's not how you spell Zen's last name!) What's yours?" He put his hand out for me to shake. I looked at his hand for a moment. "My name is (Y/N)." I replied, bowing slightly. Zen brought his hand back to his side. "(Y/N), may I ask you some questions?" I nodded and he sat back down in his chair. I stayed where I was. "Ok. I would like to know who you are working for." I gave him a questioning look. "What do you mean? I am an assassin. I work for no one. I just get hired by an unknown person to do some jobs and I get payed. But the day you found me was my day off." He nodded. "I see... So your an assassin... So do you get all your jobs from the same person?" I nodded. "Yeah. But I don't like him. You see, I've met him at my base. But I don't know his name." Zen nodded again. "Ok. So you don't like your 'Boss'? ... Then why don't you just quit doing his jobs for him?" I looked at the ground. "I have tried that already..." I whispered. Zen looked at me. "What happened then?" Do I trust him enough to tell him?
