We're accepting 10 entries per category. If your desired category is full, try some other category.

Below are the rules to participate in the Asian Awards. Please take this seriously because failure to abide by the rules will result in elimination from the contest.

Your entry will only be accepted if you follow all of the rules. We have eyes everywhere, so we'll know if you skip a step!

ONLY ENTER BOOKS THAT CONSIST OF ASIAN CHARACTERS OR PROMOTE ASIAN CULTURE.

Rules:

1. Give a permanent follow to ProjectAsia .

2. Give this book a shoutout on your message board.

3. Tag 15+ people.

4. Add this book to your public reading list.

5. Give yourself a pat on the back for doing the steps above.

6. Add the hashtag #TheAsianAwards2020 so it's easier for us to sort your book.

7. Add the hashtag #ProjectAsia to your book (optional).

8. Add this book to your library so you are up to date.

9. Follow your judge at least until the announcement of results.

10. Please don't be rude to other participants, judges or the #ProjectAsia team.

Please keep in mind that you can enter as many books as you want, but you cannot enter one book in several different categories. Please choose one category per book.

Please note that this rule does not apply to the special category awards which will be explained in detail in a different chapter.

Reminder: English is the only language we are accepting right now.

More languages will be accepted if we find judges fluent in them. You can recommend anyone you know.

Your book must have at least 10 chapters excluding those that are irrelevant to the plot (aesthetics/cast/introduction).

This is negotiable. However please keep in mind that your book will be judged based on those 10 chapters, and lesser chapters may affect your score (that doesn't mean they can't win. It depends on your writing!).

For short stories, we require a minimum of 3 chapters excluding those irrelevant to the plot.
