the truth is, your first love may not love you back, 

they may not be the one you get to tell 'i love you' to. 

they may not be the one you go to your high school prom with. 

they may not be the one that will make love to you in a soft bed like in those fictional romances that are fed to you. 

they may not be the one that keeps all their promises; especially after promising to never lie or to never leave.

but they did. and that's what some people's first loves are like. 

that is the truth. 

and sometimes, when it's one-sided, they'll take advantage of you and your love.
