Michael pov

I woke up to screaming in the middle of the night again so I rushed to Ritchie's room with David right behind  me Ritchie was crying and screaming David ran over and held Ritchie down but he kept thrashing around. "Hurry captain I can't hold him down for long he's putting up more of a fight than last time." I ran over to Ritchie's bed and sat down next to him I started to stroke his hair and I wiped his tears away. "It's okay Ritchie your safe your fine everything's okay there nothing here that can hurt you we're here." Ritchie started to quiet down and stopped thrashing and went limp David let go but Ritchie was still crying. "Ssssshhhhh Ritchie it's okay relax and go back to sleep." Ritchie stopped crying so I left and David followed behind me. "I  hate to see him like this captain as annoying as it was I miss the Ritchie that was always flirty and had this joyful tone when he spoke instead of him screaming in pain every night." "As much as I hate the jokes about my height and the constant flirting I hate seeing him in pain like this and I hate the fact that we can't do anything about it." "Yeah well we shouldn't stress about it captain let's just get some rest. "I went to bed and fell asleep I woke up the next morning to the wonderful smell coming from the kitchen I got up and went downstairs to the living room and saw David and Branden about to go into the kitchen. "Hey David hey Branden what's that amazing smell?" "We're not sure  we were about to go check." I walk into the kitchen to see Ritchie putting bacon and eggs on some plates. "Ritchie your awake." "Of course I am why wouldn't I be I made you guys breakfast." I got mad at the fact that Ritchie had made us all worry and to wake up and act like nothing happened so I stomped up to him and started yelling. "WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU. YOU MADE US ALL WORRY YOU WERE CRYING AND SCREAMING IN PAIN LAST NIGHT AND YOU'VE BEEN OUT FOR DAYS AND NOW YOU WAKE UP AND ACT LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU." I stopped screaming thinking he was going to tease me about caring about him and brush off my yelling like he usually does but when I looked up at his face he was crying I froze. "I-i just wanted t-to do something hic nice for you guys." Ritchie ran to his room crying. "Sigh I'll go talk to him Yawn You guy can listen in." "Alright Branden me and cap will follow you up shortly." Branden walked away. "Cap something is clearly wrong with Ritchie he's acting weird so you need to hold your temper while we figure things out." "Fine you right that is the best course of action." We walk up to Ritchie's room to listen to the conversation.

Ritchie pov

I had ran to my room crying after cap had yelled at me shortly after Branden came in. "Hey Ritchie can I talk to you." "Yes what do you need?" I was still silently crying Branden came over and sat on the bed. "Do you remember what happened at the Dungeon?" "What dungeon I don't know what your talking about." "You don't remember anything?" "No I don't know why he said I was in pain but we never went to a dungeon we went on patrol like we usually do." "What was that with cap you usually flirt with him and brush off his yelling." "What are you talking about I've never flirted with anyone and I've always been sensitive and I hate being yelled at it always makes me cry you guys should know this by now with how long we've been together." "What do you mean Ritchie You've always flirted you've gone out on dates with so many girls." "I don't know what your talking about I've never been out on a date before much less had my first kiss you know how sensitive I am about that I want to have that special moment with the right person." "Okay it's getting late we've been talking for a while you should get some sleep Yawn." "Okay night Branden." Branden walked out and I laid down in bed and fell asleep.

Michael pov 

Branden had just walked out and we heard everything. "What was that?" "It appears that yawn Ritchie's memory's have been altered and his personality changed I think it's yawn from the artifact from talking to him I know he believes what he's saying I'm going back to bed." Branden walked away. "So cap it seems it's just like Branden said." "It appears so but he said it  changed his personality but I wonder to what extent." "Yeah he was realy upset that you yelled at him you should apologias tomorrow." "Yeah I will but we should get some rest." "Night captain." I walked back to my room and laid in bed and thought about what other changes the artifact made to Ritchie and if it was to going to be a problem taking care of him.
