Taehyung 6
The fire alarm ripped Taehyung out of his thoughts. He had been staring at his paper for half an hour but had not been able to produce anything. The fact that his protagonist was real and not a child of his fantasy backstabbed him now. He knew nothing about Kim Namjoon apart from the little things he assumed by the student teacher's behavior in front of class. Given the man always just sat in his chair and read some book after introducing the new task did not help much. So, when the shrill alarm cut the silence of rustling paper and scratching pens, Taehyung was relieved. This interruption gave him the opportunity of finding out something more about Mr. Kim over the next days.
Park reminded the startled teacher that they needed to get out of the building, and slowly the class began to move. He dawdled intentionally to be the last one leaving.
"Guess, you already know my name," he said and looked up to meet the mahogany eyes. For a moment, Kim Namjoon just stared at him and made him squirm uncomfortably, but he would not break their eye contact. It was time to stop this nervous behavior and to become Kim Taehyung again, the feared and respected right hand of the black-market's leader, the coldblooded attorney and master of manipulation. He did not see himself as a bad boy, not at all; those skills simply were an additional part of his persona he could pull out and use whenever he needed them. And Kim Namjoon seemed to be a problem he needed them for.
"Yeah," the young man said, and Taehyung could see the nervousness around the teacher's eyes.
While they walked down the hallways and stairs, he threw brief glances over his shoulder and realized satisfied that Mr. Kim was watching him. So, the man had also not stayed unaffected by their little exchange. But Taehyung had already been able to tell by the comments under his second attempt, which were anything but objective. Namjoon literally had told him to go get fucked.
It was time to try some of his experience in manipulating people on the teacher to get the information for his text. Reigning next to Junghan had taught him well enough.

School had been cut short by the false alarm on Monday, so Taehyung had used the time to get the information he needed to set up his next steps. After several texts and calls, he had gotten the information he needed, and right now he was on his way to tutoring. Of course, he did not need tutoring, but he needed more input regarding Kim Namjoon to write his text.
Before he opened the door, he closed his eyes and slid into the role he wanted to play. Time for a little game of push and pull.
"This is the tutoring for grade five up to seven. Grade twelve gets tutored in room 2.08," Kim Namjoon said when he turned around to him.
"So, you say that you're not smart enough to help me, Sir?" he mocked the man and smiled crookedly.
The man was obviously offended. It showed in the way he straightened his back before he replied. "Is your math so bad that you can't even read the numbers on the doors?"
Not bad for a teacher, Taehyung had to admit, but also the perfect pass for the winning retort. "Doesn't that prove I belong here instead of room 2.08?" he shot back.
Defeat was written all over Mr. Kim's face before he covered it up with a sickeningly sweet smile. Taehyung had to suppress a satisfied grin. His subject was angry. Good. Time to switch attitude. Here comes the innocent boy.
"What do you need help with?" the man asked him with suppressed annoyance in his voice.
"Two things," Taehyung stated, lowering his head to make his eyes appear bigger when he looked up. The first was the unnecessary help on math, the second one the information to write the text, "But I'd prefer to concentrate on the first one. I need some help with integral calculus. We started with the topic weeks ago, but I'm still failing."
The struggle in the mahogany eyes made his heart flutter. His plan was working.
