After the exam on the island ended the remaining candidates entered an airship. Each one of us had a short meeting with the hunter chairman Isaac Netero. When it was my turn he asked me:"Which one of the other candidates you think is the most interesting?" I had to think about it for a while. There were many interesting people among them. For example Hisoka, Gon and Killua, but also Illumi. But in a positive way the most interesting person had to be the weird clown. "I think number 44, Hisoka.", I answered. "And against which one you'd like to fight the most?", Netero asked. He seemed very professional but I believed that also this old man was planning to have some fun. "I guess there is no person in particular I'd like to fight.", I answered politely. "So then, last question: Is there someone you would not like to oppose at all?" I didn't had to think a lot. It's clear who I would choose. "Number 301, I...", I interrupted myself inconspicuously, "...Gittarackur." That was close. I'm glad I remembered his alias. Netero nodded and I was allowed to return to the others.

In the common sleeping room I placed myself next to Gon and Killua. I remained silent but enjoyed to listen their conversation. Those kids had so much hope and energy to spread. What a pleasure. After a while I noticed a movement at the other side of the room. It was Hisoka signalizing me to come over. I did.

When I arrived to the red haired he smiled at me awkwardly and asked: "And...what have I missed?" It was clear that he meant the time in which he left me and Illumi alone. I rolled my eyes. "Not much. We just chilled inside a hole for like six days.", I said without giving a single expression. If he wants to provoke me with the question then I won't let him reach this goal. "Uhh lala. That escalated quickly~", he smirked in a flirty way. I just wanted to facepalm myself. It was so obvious that Hisoka would say something like that. "Nothing escalated, my dear. We just hang out and slept for a while.", I explained a little bit annoyed. He seemed to be thinking about something. "So this is just like sharing a room, isn't it?", he said with a pervy smirk on his face. "It is. But...", I performed a winning smile, "also friends can share a room. That doesn't mean something dirty happened."

"So you two are friends now?", the clown asked with a weird curiosity. I nodded and shaked my shoulders. "I think so...", I said a little insecure. Then Hisoka started laughing. "What did he do to you, darling?", he asked a little worried but still smiling amused. "Nothing. Really. It's just a long story.", I smiled too.

After some time passed Illumi entered the room. I looked at him for a short moment and our eyes met for a second. I don't know if my eyes fooled me, but I meant to see a little smile on his mouth. Somehow it made me happy to see him again. I don't know why but there was a feeling of comfort around my heart. It was clear that he wasn't able to join me and Hisoka, because of his false identity but his presence was still enough.
