7.13|Rich Hearts: 💕|

The clock was about to strike nine o'clock at night. Zuri and Advay were sitting on a shelf in the kitchen and were busy eating sugar-free sweets.

"These sweets are delicious." Advay spoke with his mouth full of Gulab Jamuns. Zuri smiled looking at his childishness.

Again Advay proved his loyalty towards his wife by not eating the sugary sweets. And this little resistance meant a lot to Zuri, he could see this through the way she was looking at him.

"Advay..."

"Hmm?" He hummed while continuing to eat the sweets.

"You never asked me why I fell for you." Her question changed his carefree demeanor.

"There is nothing to ask, Zuri."

But Zuri wasn't satisfied with his reply.

There are people who think that she married him because of his money. But it wasn't true.

Advay put the container down, washed his sweet-coated hands and sat on his previous position.

"Zuri, we are the same. Strong enough to hide our vulnerabilities. Satisfied enough to hide our dissatisfactions. And brave enough to hide our fears. You loved me because I let you cry over my shoulder when you caught Ziya kissing an old man. And I loved you because you never judged me over my past actions. You are still insecure of Diva, yet you never stopped me from meeting her. Because you love me, you care for me. You always treated Amyra as your own child, because she is a part of me. I admit, I was unsure about our marriage initially. But I wanted to give us a chance. And I feel lucky to marry you."

Her eyes turned glassy, but she refused to cry.

"Zuri, don't be a crybaby." He pulled her into his arms, her head resting on his chest.

"I love you." She mumbled from his chest.

"I love you too." He kissed her temple.

"Let's retire to the bed. You have a meeting tomorrow." Zuri suggested while ending the hug, totally ruining Advay's romantic mood.

"But it's too early. Why don't we do something else?" He suggested mischievously, his hands sliding to her waist.

"Advay, not now. I am tired." She pulled out from his arms.

"Zuri..." To which Advay whined.

"I am going to sleep." But you can't change Zuri's mind when it comes to sleep.

Diva returned to her bedroom after making sure that Amyra and Veda were asleep. Amyra falls asleep in just ten minutes but Veda sometimes stay awake all night. It takes a lot of efforts to put her to a comfortable sleep. And what could be more comfortable than a mother's touch? But Diva wasn't sure if Veda has accepted her as her mother. She is comfortable in Abeer's presence, but not in her presence. Maybe she is afraid that if she did anything wrong Diva will get angry. But Diva will definitely do something to end this hesitation.

"Girls are asleep?" Abeer asked from his desk where he was doing some office work.

"Yeah, I guess they got tired due to all the ventures in the birthday party." She sat in front of dressing table, to apply some body lotion.

"Yeah, Amyra was so excited for Aaraya's first birthday." He smiled.

"Abeer, do you think like others Amyra also thinks she is Advay and Zuri's daughter?" She asked out the question pondering in her mind for long.

People think Amyra is Advay and Zuri's firstborn, and Diva and Abeer have adopted her. The reason was simple, Amyra has facial similarities with Advay.

And now Diva has a doubt that Amyra thinks the same.

Abeer stood up from his desk and reached to hold her shoulders. They were looking at each other through the mirror, straight into each other's eyes.

"Amyra is too young to think about this. But few years later this question will definitely come into her mind. Maybe it's better to keep it that way."

"I will tell her the truth. Maybe when I'll be counting my last breaths, but I will tell her someday for sure."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I am."

"Alright, it's your decision." He stepped back and hurried to wrap his work.

When Diva was done with her night routine Abeer was already waiting for her on their bed.

Diva retired to the bed, sliding into Abeer's arms. Abeer began caressing her silky, long hair, just like every other night.

"Abeer."

"Yes?"

"Why you never told me about your infertility?"

Once again she asked the same question, but that won't change his answer.

"Diva, I was insecure. Moreover, you know about mental health."

But she won't understand. She has engraved it on her mind that she was the reason of everything. And she will keep blaming herself.

There was a part of her which knew she would have happily accepted Abeer. But again, there was a part of her which blamed herself for his silence.

"Diva, don't overthink. It was me who kept it from you. Adoption was always an option for us, but my mental illness simply worsen the situation."

He switched off the bedside lamps and closed his eyes. Diva put her head on his chest and tried to fall asleep.

Diva's regrets will never vanish. All she could do was to move on.

Yug was sleeping on his very personal bed named Yaduvansh Singhania whom he called Papa. And Vansh was trying to estimate how much weight Yug has gained in a past few months.

"Vansh, why are you frowning?" Ziya asked from the other side of their bed.

"Yug has gained some weight and he looks a little fat."

"That's true. He is gaining weight with the junk food you buy for him."

"Ziya, I buy him junk food because if I don't, he starts crying."

"Vansh, kids cry over little-little things. It doesn't mean you should give in to their every single demand."

"But I hate when he cries." He argued in a kid's tone.

"Uff! When you were young, how many times you cried when you were refused something you wanted?"

Her question made him think deeper into his childhood. He was trying to reminisce his strict younger days.

"I don't remember exactly. I used to get upset, but I never cried. Because I knew if I will cry, Bhai will get angry." His eyes widened as he shuddered remembering his strict brother from their childhood.

"Now compare your childhood with Yug's. What's the difference?"

"Bhai was strict with me, but I am not strict with Yug." He replied guiltily.

"Exactly! You need to be a little strict with him."

"But what will I do when he'll cry?"

"Try to make him understand that it's not good for him. He will believe on you. You know what he says about you, Papa never lies."

"Alright, I'll be just a little strict with... three of them." He caressed her baby bump and smiled.

"Ouch!" Ziya winced as a wave of pain hit her.

"They again kicked?"

"No, I felt a pang hit me. I think my water broke." She didn't panic. She had gone through this experience at Yug's birth and took care of Zuri during her two pregnancies.

Vansh carefully put Yug on the bed and ran to call Advay and Zuri.

In the next ten minutes Advay and Vansh helped Ziya to sit in the car and rushed to the hospital. While Zuri took Yug to her bedroom and looked after the kids. But she kepted calling Advay after every half an hour.

In the hospital Advay took care of all the paperwork as Vansh was too nervous to do that.

When the clock struck exact 11:59 PM, a boy was born whose shrill cry knocked out the eardrums of the doctors. Another Yug was here to trouble poor Vansh.

And when the clock struck exact 12:01 AM, a very pleasant voice cried and entered the world full of chaos. A little angel gifted to Vansh by God. Vansh's little princess.

Yash Singhania and Naintara Singhania were the twins with two-minute difference in their births, however, technically born on two different days.

When Advay heard this name "Naintara", he had tears in his eyes. It was their biological mother's name, who died after Vansh was born.

He hugged Vansh and kissed his forehead to express his happiness.

And that's how their life and their family completes.

And that's how their Rich Hearts complete as well.

A Happy Continuation...

Because happiness never ends.

And that's how this story ends.

It was tough, extremely tough, to write something like this. I did mistakes. But still you appreciated my work. Thank you! If it weren't your encouraging comments I would have surely deleted this story.

This extended epilogue was requested by a reader. I don't know if she found it upto to the mark or not. But I tried my best. That too with a writer's block.

A mandatory '& more' part will be updated soon. It's like a tradition for me, to show off my editing skills. 😉😉😉
