On the demand of SksajeedSajeed

These days sleep seems a stranger to her. One moment she closes her eyes and the next moment her devils will disturb her.
Like just right then she was deep in sleep after a tiring day, but a shrill cry woke her up.
She groaned and opened her eyes to see a crying Aaraya on her right side. The strange fact was that her husband and son were missing from the bed.
"Aww Aaraya, don't cry." Zuri put a year old Aaraya on her lap.
But where are the other two devils?
At the same moment the door opened and Advay entered the room with a two-year-old Advik in his arms.
The smile on his face instantly vanished when he saw a fully awake Zuri.
"Where were you gone?" Her tone was stern.
"For a walk under the moon." He chuckled nervously.
Little Advik smiled and said aloud in his baby language, "Mamma, aaish keem!"
And Advay instantly regretted taking him to the kitchen with himself. Advik is the baby version of a gossip queen. He can't speak properly but Zuri easily understands what he is saying and Advik loves to create problems for his dad.
Advay glared at Advik who in return gave a toothy grin. Tucking his traitor son in bed, he held Aaraya from Zuri.
"Advay." Zuri gave a cute pout.
"Yes?" He knew exactly what she was going to say.
"Just last month you were diagnosed with diabetes. Control yourself until it cures entirely. If you will keep eating sweets then it can lead to kidney problems as well."
"Nothing will happen, Zuri. Don't exaggerate it."
"You are impossible!" And she laid down, annoyed by his reluctance.
"Zuri!" But he got no reaction. He laid on the bed facing her back.
Aaraya was peacefully sleeping with her head on Advay's arm. Advik just needs a soft mattress, that's all and he will be fast asleep. Advay was looking at Zuri's back, thinking if he should apologise or not.
"Zuri, I'm sorry." He whispered.
Zuri turned around and looked at him.
"Advay, do you know I haven't eaten sweets for past month." Her eyes were accusing him.
"Why?" He was baffled to say the least.
"Because I felt guilty to eat sweets when you can't eat them." He saw a tear escaping her eye.
"Zuri, this is unfair. You always make me emotional and get whatever you want."
"Advay, don't be a baby."
"I love eating sweets."
"Okay, I promise I will keep sugar-free sweets for you, only for you. Even Advik won't get them."
Well, that was a good trick.
"Promise?" Advay hates sharing his sweets, but he has to share them with Advik. And he likes it as well as dislikes it.
"Promise." She smiled.
"Then I'll try to not eat sugar. But I want sugar-free sweets everyday."
"Deal."
"That's like a businessman's wife." He grinned and pulled her cheek.

Vansh's eardrums were about to explode due to Yug's high-pitched wailing.
It was Yug's first day to go to the school and I think the rest you can understand very well.
"Yug, you will get lots of chocolates and ice creams in the school. There will be toys and your favourite Mickey Mouse as well." Vansh tried to pester him.
Yug heard Mickey Mouse and he got curious. He stopped crying as well. Because Yug loves Mickey Mouse.
"Look, I got you a Mickey Mouse bag, a Mickey Mouse tiffin, a Mickey Mouse water bottle as well."
"I want ice-cream. Then I will go to school." The kid was after all a businessman's son.
"Oh, there will be ice-cream in the fridge. Let me get it for you."
•••
Vansh entered the kitchen to find Zuri preparing the breakfast.
"Good morning, Zizu."
"Good morning, Zuri." He greeted back and opened the fridge.
"What are you looking for?"
"Ice cream."
"Advay ate all the ice cream last night."
"But he has diabetes." He closed the fridge and turned to Zuri with a serious look.
"But he loves sweets."
"He is thirty-five, not five. He should understand what's good and what's bad for him. Give him a tight slap then he will understand." His sternness was amusing Zuri.
"Don't worry, I will start purchasing sugar-free sweets for him."
"But what should I do now? Yug will again start crying if I didn't gave him ice cream." He was in a big bang problem to say the least.
"Take him to any ice cream parlour."
"Hmm, that's the only solution."
Vansh exited the kitchen.
"Yug, we are going to the ice cream parlour! Come on."
And the father-son duo left jumping like kangaroos.
•••
"You little monster, last night you almost got me killed from your Mamma."
Advik's reaction was a smirk and he continued with his pillow beating.
"Oye! Stop your pillow band and go for the breakfast." Advay said while adjusting his tie.
Advik spread his arms, expecting Advay to pick him up.
"You have legs, my uncle. I am not picking you, traitor."
Advik didn't gave a f--- fish about it and arrogantly walked out of the room.
•••
"Mamma!" little Advik grinned and hugged Zuri's legs.
"Oh, my baby. Go to Maasi and bring her to the dining table." Zuri kissed his cheek and the Advik Express ran to Ziya's room.
Zuri picked an apple and began cutting it. But suddenly a pair of arms encircled her waist.
"Advay, not now. I have to prepare the breakfast."
Advay put his head on her shoulder and replied, "Zuri, we hardly get time with each other with kids around. Don't spoil my romantic mood." And he began kissing her neck.
Zuri whined but let him do it. Her hand moved to caress his cheek.
"I love you." He said for a millionth time.
"I love you too." And she replied for millionth time.
Their lips were about to collide but...
"Good morning, lovebirds." Ziya's teasing words ended their romantic trance.
"Good morning, fun-wrecker." Advay replied sarcastically.
Ziya carefully sat on a chair. Her big baby bump was carrying two bundles of joy. Aaraya was smiling in her arms, she finds her Maasi very cute with a huge baby bump.
Advay made Aaraya sit on his lap and began feeding her the baby food. A pinkish pudding with lots of nutrients.
Aaraya was a perfect combination of Advay and Zuri. She had Zuri's innocence and Advay's confidence. Moreover, she was a silent kid which made things a lot easier for her parents.
To her contrast Advik was a kind of his own. His personality was contrasting to his parents'. He was a fun-loving kid who loved to trouble his father. He loves to trouble Aaraya as well, but then she starts crying and he begins feeling guilty. And he hates it when his dad ignores him.
Like right then he was sitting in Zuri's lap and looking at Advay who was totally ignoring him.
All of a sudden he began crying.
"Advik, what happened?" Zuri asked and he pointed at Advay who was equally concerned.
"Oh, my baby." Advay mumbled while picking him up. Now both his kids were sitting on his lap.
He smiled at the way Advik cling to him.
"Zee, you should now eat in your room only. You look so uncomfortable on the chair."
"Zuri, I get bored in the bedroom. By the way, where are Vansh and Yug?"
"Ice cream parlour."
"I hope they bring some ice cream for me."
"First finish your breakfast. You only ate half of it."
"I can't eat more."
"Zee, you are carrying two babies. You need to eat more."
"Ziya, eat by yourself or my brother will shove these paranthas into your mouth. Do you want him to do so?" Advay's threat actually worked, Vansh is very serious when it comes to his kids.
Ziya whined but nonetheless resumed eating.
"Zuri, my breakfast?" Advay asked when he was done feeding Aaraya.
"Here, in front of you." She pointed at the pieces of apple placed on a plate.
"Apples?"
"Yes."
"But I also want parantha."
"But you should eat apples. It's good for health. Now stop whining and eat them. Look, I am also eating the same."
At that moment Advay and Advik had exactly same pouts on their faces.
Advay half-heartedly began eating apples.
By then Vansh and Yug also returned.
"Ziya, how many paranthas you ate?"
And that's how Vansh's daily inspection started.
"Four."
"Okay, means two for you and two for my one kid. What about my second kid? Eat two more paranthas."
"Vansh, my bump will explode if I ate this much."
"Achha, one more?"
"No."
"A half of parantha?"
"No."
"Ice cream?"
"N-- yes!"
Advay's eyes shone at the mentioning of ice cream but he controlled. Zuri will again get upset if he ate ice cream.
"By the way, it's Aaraya's first birthday on this Sunday." Zuri mentioned.
"That calls for a party." Vansh beamed.
"No, only close friends." Advay intervened.
"Alright, how about a garden party?" Vansh suggested.
"Nice, I'll be seeing arrangements." Ziya said excitedly.
"Ziya, you are not leaving your room unnecessarily. It's your ninth month if you remember."
Ziya whined but didn't protest. Because Vansh won't listen.
Zuri smiled think about Aaraya's first birthday party. But then she realised that birthday party means there will cakes, pastries and many more sweets. What if Advay ate sweets?
What she will do now?
