Yash was surrounded by furious wolves. Wolves who were angry at him because he got married without informing them. He was sitting on the couch in his living room, looking as timid as a newborn kitten. They were standing on his head, looking as wild as hungry dogs.
“Guys, who said that he will have a destination wedding in Italy and we will be invited?” Veer asked the other guys.
The others looked at Yash with accusing gazes. Siddharth, who knew about the wedding since the beginning, was silently standing at the back.
Yash, desperate to escape their wrath, dragged poor Siddharth in front of their cannon.
“Umm... I did tell Sid to inform you guys. Sid, explain yourself,” Saying so he stood up from the couch.
Now the wolves turned towards the poor rabbit standing behind them. Siddharth was taken aback by the sudden accusation thrown at his face.
Yash sneakily headed to his bedroom where Jigyasa was resting. But he saw her emerging from the kitchen with a tray carrying bowls of noodles for everyone.
“Jigyasa, you should be resting,” Yash frowned.
“Your friends are here. And I saw that the kitchen is attached to the bedroom. So I decided to cook something. Your kitchen only had noodles. Otherwise, I would have made more exciting dishes.” Jigyasa told him with a smile.
“Okay, they are angry because I didn't invite them to the wedding. Maybe your food can calm them down. Let's go,” He smiled and took the tray from her.
Sure enough Jigyasa's cooking skills did calm them down for good. All of them were now sitting on the dining table and enjoying the noodles.
“Jigyasa Bhabhi, your cooking skills are amazing. I never knew a simple meal of noodles could be so delicious,” Veer praised Jigyasa while devouring the noodles.
“Thank you, umm... Yash, you didn't introduce your friends to me,” She turned to Yash, who was sitting beside her.
“Oops, sorry. Let me introduce them to you now,” Yash got a little excited as he began introducing his friends. He first pointed at Veer. And Veer already had an idea that Yash was going to roast him on the name of introduction.
“Meet Veer. A professor by profession but his intellect level is inferior than a toddler's.” As expected from Yash.
Then he pointed at Hriday.
“Meet Hriday. A heart surgeon by profession. Rumor says he donated his heart to a patient because this guy is heartless.” Well, Hriday wasn't expecting this heartless joke. Especially when the guys know he has a crush on his junior.
Now Yash turned towards Aditya.
“Meet Aditya. He is a scientist and I still wonder how he made it with his tiny brain.”
Aditya ignored Yash's not-so-funny joke while Yash now turned towards Devang.
“Meet Devang. Devang is a journalist. We call him Arnab Goswami 2.0.”
Devang didn't pay him any attention either. Now it was Ranbir's turn.
“Meet Ranbir. Ranbir is an automobile engineer. Tesla is his current girlfriend.” Now that was more of a compliment for Ranbir.
Yash now looked at Siddharth.
“Well, you already know Siddharth. But let me introduce him too. Siddharth is an author. He kills people on paper, especially the ones he can't kill in reality.”
Siddharth narrowed his eyes at him, “And one of them are you.”
Everyone began laughing at Siddharth's witty comeback.
After a while, the guys left the newlywed couple alone and went back to their apartments. Yash and Jigyasa were now sitting in silence.
“Umm... Yash?” Jigyasa called out his name hesitantly.
“Yeah.” He look at her attentively.
“About my brother, I have a request to you.”
Yash passed her a reassuring smile, “Jigyasa, don't worry. I will help your brother get a new job and I can support him financially if you want.” He offered with benevolence, but it only earned him a look of discomfort from her.
“No, that's exactly what I don't want you to do. Don't help him even if he begs you.”
Jigyasa's response left him puzzled, “But... why?”
“My unconditional support is one of the reasons he ended up in jail. I should have said no at least once when he asked for money. I don't want to repeat my mistake. He knows you are rich. So he will come to you for help. Please don't help him. It's time he becomes self-sufficient.”
Yash nodded understandingly.
Jigyasa stood up from her chair and began picking the dirty dishes from the dining table.
“I'll do the dishes.”
“Nah, just put it in the sink. Househelp will do it in the morning.”
“No, it's alright. I can do this much.”
Yash took the dishes from her hand. “Then I'll do it. You should rest. You never took a break in the last five years if I'm not wrong.”
Jigyasa chuckled at the realization, “Ah, it never occurred to me actually. That I never took a break from work. Thanks for reminding me, Yash.”
Yash asked excitedly, “Should I plan a foreign trip for this weekend?”
“But I don't have a passport.”
“Then I'll take care of your passport first.”
“Thanks.”
Yash passed a smile and carried the dishes to the kitchen.

The same evening Jigyasa went to meet her brother. But when she reached the Chawl, the neighbors informed her that her brother didn't return to home. She tried to call him but his phone was switched off. At last, she returned to Gulmohar society.
“You came back early,” said Yash as soon as he opened the main door.
“He didn't return to home yet. His phone is also switched off.”
“But he walked out of the police station with my lawyer before noon.”
Jigyasa was worried for her brother. She was waiting when Jigar will turn on his phone. Two days passed but Jigar's phone was still switched off.
That morning she was sitting on the dinning table and waiting for Yash. Yash was sleeping in the guestroom for the last two nights.
“Good morning.” He wished her in a very sleepy tone while taking a seat opposite her.
“Did your brother call you?” He asked, seeing her worried face.
Jigyasa shook her head, “I'm getting worried. Can we file missing report in the police station?”
“Yeah, it's been two days and he isn't back yet. Let's eat the breakfast. Then we will go to the police station,” Yash suggested. Jigyasa nodded and they began eating the breakfast.
Before they could head out, Jigyasa received a phone call from an anonymous number. For a moment, she hoped that it was her brother. But when she picked it, it was a call from the police. What she heard next almost snatched away her breathe from her body.
A dead body was found at a deserted road. And it was her brother.
