The markings on his arms are a mark of his tribe and yes, he's wearing gloves. The two items next to him are close ups of his other items. One is his necklace and the other are his headphones. However this is more of a piece of jewelry he wears.

Yeah... It's ok... I'm happy with the hair but I made him pretty short in this drawing however he's actually a bit taller than Adam.
