It has been a hectic few weeks but the day was finally here, in just a few hours I would be Xander's wife and the queen of Nohr. To say I was excited was an understatement, but I was also almost as equally nervous. I barely had time to say good morning to Xander because my team of bridesmaids plus my maid of honour practically hauled me out of bed to start getting me ready.

My family had arrived in Nohr two days ago and we've all been busy since their arrival.

After I got out of a bath the girls prepared for me we had a quick breakfast before they all started fusing over my hair and my makeup and pretty much everything else about me. While the girls were busy with everything, my mothers sat to the side sipping her drink wearing a smile.

I had just gotten my dress on and laced up when there was a knock at the door and Victor popped his head in.

"It's almost time, is everyone ready yet?" He said.

"Just about, the rest of us have to get changed so you go wait outside," Ashley said shooing him out.

After the girls had finished changing I had my shoes on and my veil pinned in my hair my mother excused the other girls so she could speak to me alone.

"I'm so proud of you Victoria, and I'm so happy that this day has come for you, and you know your father would say the same thing if he was here," I nodded. "Things haven't been easy ever since you came to Nohr but you've managed to overcome the difficulties, you are so strong Victoria and I love you so much and you look so beautiful," she stopped herself as she was tearing up.

"I love you too mother," I replied hugging her.

"Hate to break up the moment but its just about time, you should go to your seat mother," Victor said sticking his head in again. Mother whipped her tears and left. Leaving me and Victor. "Everyone else is waiting by the doors, you ready to go?" I sucked in a deep breath and grabbed my bouquet.

"As ready as I'll ever be," I said taking his outstretched arm and leading me towards the venue. Nefertari and the girls were there waiting when we arrived. Alexandros who was managing the doors signalled for the music to start and just as rehearsed we started walking in. Just before Victor and myself had to start walking he quickly placed my veil over my face and then it was our turn.

Everyone stood up and turned around to watch us as we walked, but my focus was the altar, more specifically, Xander who was looking very handsome. Our eyes locked at I could feel how powerful our love was and how important this day will mean to both of us. When we got to the altar Victor lifted my veil before handing me to Xander and stepping over to his place.

The ceremony went by in a blur, all I was focused on was Xander and finally we were to the rings. Xander and I had decided to design rings for each other and keep them a secret so when Xander placed the ring on my finger I saw how gorgeous it was, wyvern wings were etched into the ring and in the middle was a purple diamond. And then I placed Xander's ring on his finger, it was a simple band, but it was forged from one of my favourite tiaras that I had melted down so that way a piece of me is always with him.

"Prince Xander do you take Princess Victoria to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Gunter said.

"I do," Xander said not once breaking our eye contact.

"Princess Victoria do you take Prince Xander to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do," I said smiling at Xander.

"By the power invested in me I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride," and with that Xander leaned down pulling me closer by my waist and kissed me. The crowd cheered and clapped for us. Xander and I then walked back down the aisle exiting the hall.

"As much as I would love to begin the festivities right now, we have a coronation to attend first and I must get changed," I said to Xander and then the people started pilling out of the hall congratulating us. Saying as many quick thank you's as I could as I took off back to my bedroom to change into my coronation gown.

With Nefertari's help I changed quickly and was on my way to the castle reception room. Once there Nefertari left me outside the doors Once again I would have to walk down an aisle, this time by myself.

The ceremony started as guards opened the doors and I walked to the base of the thrones. I had many vows and oath to take all about my loyalty to Nohr and to Xander and finally I was at my final oath.

"Victoria do you swear to put your duties as our queen above all else."

"I do swear it."

"It brings me great honour to present Nohr's new queen. May I present queen Victoria!" The Gunter said while placing the ceremonial crown on my head and then I turned to face the crowd.

There was a chorus of people cheering various things:"All hail queen Victoria", and, "long live the queen".

I sat on my new throne next to Xander and people came a bowed to us, congratulating us on both our marriage and  my coronation. Once the hall had emptied out I could finally talk to Xander.

"Today has been wonderful, I have one more outfit change and then we can finally start the celebrations," giving him a quick kiss I then rushed back to our room where Nefertari was there waiting to help me change.

When I entered the room being used for the reception everyone was already there talking together, having a few drinks and snacking on some of the food laid out. Xander joined me and we made sure to go all around the room speaking to all our guests, before it was time for the supper. Xander and myself had a table to ourselves so we could look at all the guests.

"As my brothers best man I am obligated to do a toast to him, Xander, you have always been my role model when it comes to pretty much everything, and while at times I may have been angered and how good you were at everything, I've always been glad that I have you as my older brother and I know that you and Victoria work wonderful together, both as a couple and as rulers. To Xander and Victoria!" Leo said partway through the meal. And then I saw Victor stand with his glass all I could was guess what he was going to say.

"You know, I used to think Victoria had a heart of stone and was incapable of showing affection to pretty much everyone. But turns out I was wrong, although I never got to see their love story unfold, I did get to read all about it, seriously Victoria's letters to me over the past few months have been more like diary entires! I got to watch Victoria grow up, and sis, what a magnificent woman you've become, today is the best day of your life so enjoy it to the fullest," and everyone cheered to his toast.

We finished the meal and I was ready to toss the bouquet, the men outlined the room as all the women were gathered in the center. Turning around I threw the bouquet back behind me and then quickly turned around to see who was the lucky girl. The woman who caught it I didn't recognize her, she was short with black hair and had her eyes on Leo over to the side.

Everyone then moved to the ballroom and music started to play.

"May I have this dance queen Victoria?" It was Xander in front of me with his hand stretched out inviting me to dance.

"Yes you may King Xander," I took his hand and he whisked me away to the dance floor where we had our first dance. The world around me was forgotten, right now in this moment it was just me and Xander, I could stay here forever swaying with him, our eyes never leaving each other.

Eventually of course the song ended and another began meaning that anyone could now dance, many couples joined us dancing.

"I'd hate to break this up, but can a brother dance with his sister," Victor said no doubt he had danced Ashley out, if its one thing Victor loved to do was dance, however not everyone shared the love and I guess Ashley was one of them.

"Of course," Xander said handing me off to Victor.

"I hope this day has been everything you've ever wanted Vik."

"It has, I don't think I could've imagined a more perfect day," I said in awe.

We danced for quite some time, Victor made sure we got to every corner of the dance floor, I noticed that Xander was dancing with Elise how had very poor footwork, and that black haired woman from earlier was dancing with Leo and Nefertari and Alexandros were even dancing together, every face I saw looked like they were enjoying themselves which made me happy.

Finally I was all danced out and the cake was brought out, and it was exactly what Xander and I ordered except it tasted even better than from when we went for cake tasting. After Xander and I fed each other a piece of cake everyone else was served.

Soon after people started leaving until it was just family left and even then they started to retire for the night until it was just Xander and myself left.

Xander picked me up in his arms and stared walking through the halls.

"I hope your not too tired yet Victoria, just because the party is over doesn't mean that the night is over just yet," then we reached our newly renovated bedroom where he closed the door behind us locking the door making sure we weren't disturbed.
