I watched as Victoria went through her nighttime routine, and no I never watched her change. Victoria tucked herself into bed and it never took long before she dozed off. Now I had work to do, I left Victorias room being extra careful not to wake her.

As I wondered around the castle looking for the person I was looking for, and then I finally found him.

"Victor might I have a word."

"Sure Xander, what can I do for you this evening? You know tomorrow is a big day!"

"Yes I'm quite aware. It's Victoria I'm concerned about."

"Really? Has something happened to her?"

"You could say, she has been under a lot of stress today, with all the preparations for the coronation."

"What do you mean?" Is he being serious.

"Victoria is in charge of the preparations and every choice you make, must have her final say and according to her you have absolutely no taste in style and are incapable of matching anything," Victor looked confused.

"I haven't picked out anything for the coronation besides my own clothes," now I looked confused, then Victors eyes widened. "I think I know what has happened," he placed his head in one of his hands. "I told Ash she could help with the preparations, I bet everything Victoria has seen was picked out by her."

"Oh my, and here she thought that you were picking out the worst options on purpose to get under her skin."

"Well Victoria is right, I don't really have a sense of style but I'd never do that to her. So this is going to be quite awkward tomorrow isn't it."

"Yes it will be. But my apologies Victor."

"Ah no harm done future brother in law." He said letting out a chuckle and giving me a pat on the shoulder.

"And speaking of our families joining, might I discuss something with you, king to future king?"

"Sure, lets go to my future study shall we?"

It was quite later when I finished my discussion with Victor, but it was worth it as I was pleased by the outcome. Sneaking back into Victoria's room, careful once again not to wake her, I got ready for bed and climbed in next to Victoria. And then I too drifted off.

"Alright morning love birds today is a big day Vickky we have plenty to do before the ceremony," it was Nefertari and then I was met with sunlight right on my face, Victoria groaned as she began to wake up. "Come on Vikky I have your bath ready," Victoria groaned again, I gave her a quick kiss on the forehead and then she rolled out of the bed and then into her bathroom.

I of course was ready much quicker than Victoria but as Camilla says you can't rush beauty, or maybe that was just her excuse because she slept in...

"Alright come on Xander we have quite the journey ahead of us, oh and make sure you have Siegfried with you, you'll most likely need it." Odd, but still of course I listened.

Victoria led us down and outside the castle where he mother, Victor and Ashley were waiting for us.

"Are we all ready to go?" Victor asked. Everyone agreed then three wyverns were brought to us, I recognized Veronica, Victoria climbed aboard her and I got on behind her. Victor and Ashley boarded a wyvern and queen Laverna got on her own wyvern and then we took off flying away from the castle.

"Um Victoria, what exactly is going on?"

"The first part of the coronation. The heir and his family must make the trek of Zeckensaw. We ride to the exact spot that Zeckensaw and his party first landed when they arrived in Vimore, then we must walk all the way back to the capital to the chapel where Zeckensaw accepted the crown."

"So we must recreate what Zeckensaw did?"

"Sort of, of course we don't kill any wyverns unless they really are hostile, but as Victor's family we must protect him, just like how Zeckensaw's crew protected him," now I understand why we had to get up at the crack of dawn.

Eventually we landed on the edge of Vimore, after getting off the wyverns they flew off back to Zeckensaw.

"Alright everyone, lets get going don't want to keep the crowd waiting!" Victor said and we began the trek back.

We followed along a path that I'm assuming was the original path taken by Zeckensaw and crew, every now and again when we would pass certain points Victoria would tell me about something significant about the spot or an event that had taken place there.

Luckily there didn't seem to be very many hostile creatures out today, but anything that did pop out, we made quick work of what ever it was. I could tell that up ahead the dense forest thinned out into a field, Victoria knew this too and apparently there was something important about it because she let out a gasp, picked up her dress and ran ahead.

"Victoria we don't know what's ahead come back," I called and took off after her. When I got to the open field I couldn't believe my eyes, it was a giant wyvern skeleton, well most of the skeleton anyway, and of course Victoria was focused on it.

"Xander look, this is all that remains of the great wyvern that Zeckensaw defeated. This is the first time I've ever seen the skeleton in person," she said in awe. I would've kept on looking at Victoria if something up on the mountain didn't catch my eye. I never had much time to react as I tackled Victoria to the ground as the creature swooped over our heads. "Xander what was that about?" She said as I stood up, hauling her up after. I drew Siegfried and stood in front of her.

"This creature was watching us from up on the mountain," she peeked out behind me as the creature landed.

"It appears to be some type of wyvern," the wyvern roared and appeared to be readying to attack, we all stood prepared for what could come next, but then Victoria stepped out in front of me.

"Victoria what are you-"

"Halt wyvern, I command that you obey me," she said, the wyvern only growled more. "Now now, I'll take no attitude from you, after all, you intruded on us," the wyvern expelled air out through its nose and began to run towards us, I prepared to make my move. "You will stop in the name of Zeckensaw!" She shouted. The wyvern halted. "As the carrier of his blood you are bound to obey me in my land, now, be gone!" And just like that the wyvern flew off.

"Very impressive sis," Victor said walking over to us.

"How can you do that Victoria?" I asked in awe.

"It's because she's a descendent of Zeckensaw, the blood bond he forged with the wyverns still stands with anyone directly related to him.  But when dealing with a wild wyvern no fear must be shown and you must be the dominant one. They love to pray on the weak," Queen Laverna explained.

"Well yes, but I've also had plenty of training with wyverns, I know how to handle them. Now come on, we still have a while ahead of us," Victoria replied, and then we forged on ahead.

Eventually we did make it back to Zeckensaw, I had the opportunity to learn a lot about Victoria's family. When we finally arrived in the chapel my siblings and everyone else was there waiting for us. Victoria and I took our spots and the coronation began.

"I now crown you King Victor of Vimore," Queen Laverna said placing the ceremonial crown on her sons head. After he stood up and turned to face the public. "Rise citizens and recognize your new king!" I rose along side Victoria and joined the crowd in applauding Victor.

Now we were seated for supper, although it was a special day, the dining hall never felt that different.

"What's wrong Ashley darling?" Victor asked part ways through the meal, I had noticed that Ashley had been looking a bit puzzled ever since we got to the chapel.

"It's just that none of the decorations was what I had picked out... do you know what happened with that?" She replied. Oh no, Victor locked eyes with me sending me a distress signal, and next to me Victoria choked on her drink.

"Your the one with the style taste worse than a blind man!?" She spat out, now I was sending Victor the distress signal, Victoria was about to explode. Across the table, Ashley face fell.

"You went behind my back and changed everything I had picked out?"

"Ashley I should've told you before but traditionally its the heirs younger sibling that takes care of decorations and details for the coronation," Victor intervened with, I could tell he was trying to shut this down before it erupted into chaos.

"All the fabric samples the decorators showed me, they all said that Victor had chosen them," said Victoria and her eyes searched around the room. "You, servant, you brought me samples and I recall you saying that Victor had picked them out," oh that poor servant, they were wide eyed, no doubt scared about what Victoria would do.

"Your highness we would give Lady Ashley the samples and leave them with her for awhile and then when we would return she would give us a few of the samples and say 'Victor would like these the best'. And of course we'd bring them to you for final say."

"Why did no one tell me that Victoria was in charge of the decorations?" Ashley said sounding defeated.

"Because its a royal family tradition and you shouldn't have interfered with it," Victoria replied.

The two began arguing and I could see Victor slipping lower and lower into his seat, he knew that there would not be a good outcome one being his fiancée and the other his sister, I'd run and hide too.

"Girls enough!" Queen Laverna shouted which caused both girls to jump, Victoria instantly stopped and sat down, breathing heavily trying to calm herself down. Ashley's eyes widened, no doubt she never imagined that the queen would yell, she too then sat down, casting her gaze downwards embarrassed at what had transpired. "You two are grown women and should know to behave better," she turned to Victoria. "I expected you to be more mature than that Victoria, especially on your brothers coronation day, your still a princess which means you still have a standard to uphold. And Ashley, I know that you did not know that Victoria was in charge of the decorations, but as future queen of this kingdom you have much to learn and you must know what your duties are."

"My apologies mother."

"I'm sorry your majesty."

"It's not me you should be apologizing to, its our king who should be hearing that," we all turned to the other end of the table where Victor was sitting and it would seem like he slipped out amongst the chaos.

"I'll go find him," Victoria announced getting up from the table and leaving, Ashley looked defeated once again. She quickly finished her meal and left the dining hall.
