Priya's POV..........

     I've been staying at my house for the last three months. I'm due anytime now. Before coming here, I spent the early period of my pregnancy at my in-law's house. When I was here and there at my in-laws house, everyone treated me with so much love, care and respect. I loved the attention I was getting but sometimes I did feel suffocated with all the attention.

My mother and my mother-in-law are very strict when it comes to my diet and exercise. When I was there, Vijay's mum used to look after me and now my mum has taken that role. My mother has just made me do some mild exercises. Now I bet she's going to come with a plate full of food. I've gained a lot of weight since my pregnancy, mainly because of the amount of food I'm eating. Vijay is quite strict about me eating properly as well so I have no escape really.

Last week it was my maternity shoot and baby shower. The pictures had just arrived. As I was looking through the pictures, I started getting a mild pain but the pain eased after sometime. So I didn't pay much attention to it.

Vijay is staying at our newly built house as it's easier for him to go to work. He does often come and visit me but I miss him terribly. I do want to go and stay with Vijay but he's given me strict orders to stay with my parents, as it's safer because there's more people to look after me. Rithu anni is pregnant as well. Even though she's only in the early stages, my mum takes great care of her as well.

When I was looking through the pictures, my phone started ringing. It was Vijay. As I was going to attend the call, a big pain shot in my stomach. I started screaming and shouting. My water broke and I was going into labour. Hearing my scream, my brother Rohit rushed and took me to the hospital.

Vijay's POV........

As soon as Priya was taken in for delivery, Rohit informed me of the news and the rest of the family that Priya was in labour. I rushed to the hospital hearing the news. I was really nervous and just prayed that everything goes without any problems. I want no harm to happen to my Priya and my child.

When I reached the hospital my parents, her parents, Adi, Divya and Rohit were all waiting outside. I could hear really loud shouting and screaming from the room. My tears welled up knowing that Priya was in pain. As each second passed, her shouting was increasing, making me more tense and nervous. I kept on praying to God. Mom sat by my side trying to calm me down. Finally I heard a really loud scream followed by a Baby's cry. That moment I understood that I became a father. After being a son and a husband, I've finally become a father, a very precious role of a Man.

After some time, a nurse walked out and informed us that the child is a girl and both Priya and my baby girl are doing well. I was so happy and excited to meet my child and wife. Priya and I both wanted our first child to be a girl even though we didn't mind having a son.

I hugged everyone around me with joy. I had no words to express my happiness. I was overwhelmed. Few seconds later the doctor came out holding my baby girl. She was so tiny and sleeping peacefully. Her facial features resembled Priya a lot. I felt proud and protective holding my baby in my arms. Everyone surrounded me to see the baby.

After some time the doctor told me that I could go and see Priya, with our baby in my arms, I went to see Priya. That moment was priceless and I will forever cherish this moment.

I got closer to Priya and kissed her forehead and said, ''look at our baby Priya. She's looking beautiful just like you''.

Priya looked and her eyes started welling up. ''Are you in pain, Priya?'' I asked her.

''Yes, I am Vijay. But it is manageable now, don't worry'' Priya replied holding my hand.

''Thank you so much darling, for carrying our treasure in your womb for the last 9 months. I know you have gone through a lot to bring her into this world, love you lots'' I said.

''Actually Vijay, I should thank you first. Thank you so much for making me a mother. Without you our little princess wouldn't have been here'' Priya replied.

''Hmm... Priya, we need to name our princess right? I'll tell you some names I have in mind, then you tell me the names you have in mind. Then we can choose the best one.
The names I have in mind are Shraddha and Ananya''. I said

''Vijay, those names are all beautiful, but I have a name in mind and I would be great if you'd accept that name for our baby'' Priya said.

''What's the name you have in your mind'' I asked her curiously.

''Sakshi. Don't you think it's a beautiful name? We can give your Sakshi another life through our princess'' Priya asked me.

I was slightly shocked hearing what Priya had said.

''Priya, are you sure? I'd love to name her Sakshi as well but ...'' I asked her hesitantly.

''No buts Vijay! If you love to name her that then what's the problem?'' Priya asked me.

''No there's no problem Priya. We can name her Sakshi. I'm 100% sure that our baby will grow up into a beautiful soul like my Sakshi'' I said to Priya. She smiled hearing my response.
One reason why I hesitated to name our baby Sakshi was because I was scared whether the painful memories would come back to me. But with Priya assuring me, I'm confident that everything will be fine''.

Soon our families came in and I gave Sakshi to my mother in law. Priya tried to get up when everyone came, but she was struggling. So I helped her to remain laying in the position she was in.

Soon Priya and I told everyone that we've named the child Sakshi. My parents were shook and told us to rethink but we were stubborn.

Author's POV.......

4 months later

Sakshi is 4 months old now. As each day passed, she became more and more beautiful just like both her parents. After two months stay in Priya's house, she shifted back to their own house. Vijay took great care of Priya and was happy to bring Priya back to their house.

Priya had also slowly got back to work as well. Whenever she went to work she took Sakshi as well along with her. Everyone working in Priya's boutique was fond of Sakshi.

Vijay's and Priya's world revolved around Sakshi. Vijay now comes early from work as he is eager to see Sakshi and Priya. Sakshi is really dad,s little princess as well. She has wrapped him around her little finger. Whenever Vijay is around her, she prefers to be with Vijay. Whenever Vijay picks her up, she stops crying if she's crying. Priya was proud to see her daughter becoming a daddy's little girl.

Even after having a child, Priya's and Vijay's love remained strong. They still managed to make time for themselves. In fact their bond has only increased after Sakshi's birth. Whenever Sakshi cries during the night, Vijay helps Priya to feed milk and put the child back to sleep. Rather than putting full responsibility on Priya to look after Sakshi, Vijay was sharing the responsibilities. And Priya was so thankful to Vijay for that.

Today they were going to a party that was hosted by Vijay's friend, Sakshi wasn't coming with them as Vijay's parents were going to look after her. As Priya was draping her saree, she noticed her stretch marks on the side of her stomach. Vijay noticed Priya feeling the stretch marks. ''I've changed a lot after giving birth to Sakshi right Vijay?'' Priya asked her husband.

''Yes you have changed a lot Priya. You've transformed into a mother'' Vijay replied.

''No, I mean physically'' Priya said.

''Priya, you are still, the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I agree you have gained some weight and have some stretch marks but Priya that's natural. That doesn't make a person any lesser. We can always work on those things as well, like it's not permanent. Even if it is, it makes you look more beautiful". Vijay replied, giving Priya a hug.

''You know what? I'm the luckiest girl in the world to have a husband who makes me feel like I'm the prettiest girl in the world. You increase my confidence Vijay. I Love you!!!!!'' Priya replied, wrapping her arms around Vijay.

So Priya's and Vijays little angel Sakshi has arrived.

Next chapter will be the epilogue, you guys want I will add some bonus chapters but that will only depend on how many people wants it.

Also people can my readers let me know what kind of scenes they want if I'm doing a bonus chapter. I will write the bonus chapter according to your wish after the epilogue.
