Chapter 26

THE NEXT DAY
JOHN HARRIS (BETA)

I looked at the group of heads of past Betas. Because Harry was Alpha son, Alpha put Harry's head up on display. I looked at Harry's head hung up. Alpha was standing next to his head. Looking at it. She is definitely sad about his death as he was her son. Alpha turned around and faced me.

"Get the horde ready. I want these people dead" Alpha said.

"Yes Alpha" I said standing next to her.

"I want to be alone" Alpha said.

I walked away to let her mourn. Today we are setting up the horde. We have to crowd the horde together and then send them off to the Adelaide Oval. It a no easy task to control a horde of millions in size. A lot of times they don't follow or they realise your human and try to eat you. The easiest part of it is probably leading the horde. That's my job. I'm gonna be leading the horde. I walked over to the pit and looked at all the Guardians. A few Whisperers were down there at the moment rounding them up a little so it's easier to get them out.

But it was now time. It was time to unleash our horde. Our biggest masterpiece. We've had this horde with us since the start of our pack. When I got to the pack it was only in the thousands. But now, it's in the millions. I grabbed my knife and slowly walked down to the pit. I saw all the Guardians starting to circle which was guided by one of us. We like to keep the Guardians moving. Then they will be ready right away. I got down with the horde and a Whisperer walked up beside me.

"we are ready. let's move out" the Whisperer whispered.

"ok. good work. we will take them out to the crafers exit" I whispered.

I slowly walked around. I gathered up as many Guardians as I could and started to slowly make may way out of the pit. Once we got out of the pit I turned off making the horde follow me down a road. I kept walking down the road till the Crafers exit.

"a few are breaking apart at the back. i'm going to go help" a Whisperer whispered.

I nodded and looked forward focusing on directing the horde in the right direction. It was now just a matter of time. We were now onto the freeway. The horde was probably still making its way out of the pit. That's how big the horde is. It's going to take along time to get them all there. But when they do get there it's going to be worth it.

As we were walking down the freeway I could see a row of cars out front of us. They thought ahead of us. But the cars aren't a worry to us. They don't know how strong this horde really is. When they are all piled up they will easily break through the car barricade. I jumped over the cars and waited for them to pile up. There were hundreds already at the cars, and surely enough the cars started to move. But as more piled up the cars started to push faster and all of a sudden they broke through. I waited for the horde to catch up to me and then I started to direct them again.

Sam has been a pain since the start. I left Adelaide to get away from him. His people were strong. I couldn't win. So I ran for it. I came across Alpha and she let me become a Whisperer. I was with them for quite a while. In that time I found out how strong they were, and I was very happy to hear that they were heading to Adelaide. We just set up camp when I heard of a new group, when I heard about them I knew that it was Sam. It's time to get my revenge. He needs to die. He will die.

I clenched my fists in anger as I was walking. We made it to the end of the freeway. There was another car barricade which looked a bit stronger then the last one. I quickly climbed over it as the Guardians collided with it and started to push it. They broke through easily and they continued following me. We were now entering the city as I saw the West-PAC building which is the tallest building in Adelaide. It looked different since I was last here. The sun used to reflect off of it, but now the windows must be old and vines must be foreign over them because there is no sun reflecting off of the windows anymore.

We were almost at the Adelaide Oval. Soon I will be able to get my revenge. Sam deserves to die for what he did to me.

"the horde is all together. it should be good now" A Whisperer whispered from behind me.

"we will take them to the adelaide oval and we will walk around in there and try to take out as many of them as we can. then we will direct the horde back to crafers" I whispered.

"yes beta" the Whisperer whispered.

As we were walking into the city I spotted someone riding towards us. He looked petrified. He took out a walkie talkie or something. I quickly took out my knife and ran up to him, while he wasn't paying attention.

"you die" I whispered.

I grabbed him and stabbed him in the throat. I stabbed him again and again until I couldn't hear his screams of pain. I put my knife back and continued to walk with the horde. As we were walking I heard the walkie talkie going off. I could hear Sams voice talking on it. The man I just killed must of been on watch or something. But now they probably know we are on the way. But still, I'm not scared.
