After slowly putting everyone's heads into the back of the wagon, Lauren and I stayed still for a little bit, to get ourselves together.

"We can leave the sticks up" I said.

"So were not going to do anything. We're just going to let them win? We have to fight back" Lauren said.

"Not now please" I said.

"I know you don't kill people anymore but these people are crazy. We need to kill them all" Lauren said.

"I said not now! I just lost my fucking daughter and a whole lot of others I loved. Let's just get back and get a group decision" I said.

"I loved them as well" Lauren said.

"I didn't say you didn't" I said getting into the wagon.

Lauren got into the wagon as well and I started to ride forward heading back to the Adelaide Oval. I wonder if anyone has noticed where everyone was yet. I'm sure they have. People are gonna panic. This is going to be bad. We haven't had to deal with a group like this that threatened our entire group since the Scavengers who attacked the Adelaide Oval while I was in Renmark, which was two years ago now.

It felt like the longest ride back home. The breeze blowing in our face was relaxing but all that was going through my head was Megan and Brooklyn. Lauren and I were quiet the entire ride back.

When we made it back to the Adelaide Oval I saw that Ana was taking watch. She saw us riding to the gate. She quickly got up and opened the gate for us. We rode in and quickly stopped because loads of people were surrounding us. Ana quickly climbed down the ladder from the guard tower.

"Sam! Where have you been?" Ana said.

"The prisoner we held captive escaped. We went after him" I said.

"But you don't have him with you? You didn't find him?" Ana said.

"No" I said walking away through the crowd.

"Sam! Stop! Some of us are missing. I can't find Kane anywhere" Ana said.

"Anastasia is missing too" Gabriella said.

"Erin, Alice and Taia are all missing as well" Isabella said.

"Jemma my baby is gone as well!" Claire said crying.

"Cooper and Tyler as well. Cooper was meant to take my watch but he never came. Tyler isn't anywhere" The man said who took watch sometimes.

"Bethany as well. She went off with Debra to help her with something" A woman said.

Samantha steeped forward.

"Megan and Brooklyn are gone as well Daddy" Samantha said.

I looked around at everyone as a tear went down my face. I took a step back as everyone looked at me confused and scared.

"Debra. Isn't what she said she was. She was apart of another group. Calls herself Alpha. She was spying on us to find our weakness. Also because we crossed into her lands. She wanted us to know that if we ever go into her land again she would kill us. So that's what she did. We went out to get the prisoner back but we were meet with one of his people. That person took me to Debra or Alpha and she showed me a horde. A horde with over a million zombies. Then when I was walking back they set up pikes with heads on them. As I got closer I soon realised who they were. Bethany, Alice, Taia, Erin, Cooper, Jemma, Luke, Tyler, Kane, Anastasia, Brooklyn and... and Megan. She took them out. Cut their heads off and put them onto pikes to mark their border. That's who these people are" I said.

Gabriella fell to her knees and started to cry. Ana hugged Prince tightly while crying into his shoulder. Isabella and Hayley both cried looking up into the sky. Claire and Paul both hugged each other. Everyone started to cry. All I could see were tears running down peoples faces. Most of these people didn't even know the people that died but they were still sad. They were also probably just petrified.

"Who are these people?! Where are they?! We need to kill them!?" Ana said screaming.

"We can't, Ana. We can't. They have a horde ready to unleash on us. They have the people. Their dangerous. We.. we have to.. we can't fight them. We just can't" I said.

"We have to try. That's what we've been doing all along. We thought we were going to lose but we won every time" Ana said.

"We don't have the people" I said.

"These people can fight. We all can fight" Ana said.

"More then half of them don't even know how to. We would be sending them on a death trial. Sam's right" Lauren said.

I nodded at Lauren thanking her for the support. Ana stormed off running away. I walked to the back of the wagon and took out the box full of heads. I carried it over to the graves and grabbed a shovel. Lauren, Gabriella, Isabella, Hayley, Claire, Paul and many others walked over and helped to dig holes. We dug twelve holes in no time. I reached my hand into the box and took out Megan's head. I slowly walked over to the grave I dug especially for her. Right next to Hunters. I slowly put her head down in the grave and filled it with dirt. Everyone did the same. The families of the dead ones took their heads out and buried them. I slowly took out Brooklyn's head out and put it down into another grave. I then filled it with dirt and soon all twelve heads were buried.

We all stood back and looked at all the graves we dug. Looking at all the people we have lost is daunting. There was so many. Samantha came up to me and hugged my leg. I picked her up and held her close. Apart of me wanted to kill them but after seeing that horde, they are dangerous. I need to keep my people safe. I can't lose anyone else. Not again.
